APPEARANCE Beautiful yet deadly Reducio FIRST YEAR Anastasia is very pretty for 11 and gets more so as she gets older. She is tall and slender due to her years of ballet. She has sparkling brown eyes and a nice smile if you can actually get her to smile. Her eyes usually have a dangerous glint to them - like she just might punch someone for no reason. She is on the tall side at 4'10 and her confidence and posture make her seem taller. Her long, brown hair is very shiny and is typically styled like it is in the picture, however, as the year goes on, she begins changing it up with ponytails and braids. At the start of her first year, she always wears a jeweled necklace in the shape of an "A", but later on, she gets rid of it and wears a variety of jewelry. Before Hogwarts, you'd only ever see her in fairly formal skirts and dresses. However, while she's at Hogwarts, her style becomes a bit more casual, with her wearing the occasional tee shirt and jeans. She is generally seen in pinks and purples and other pastels with the occasional gold or silver thrown in. While she's back home though, she is never seen in anything less than a perfectly styled outfit. SECOND YEAR Anastasia had several growth spurts, and is now 5'2". Her hair is usually down, but has been seen in various complex braids. Whether done or braided, it always looks perfectly styled. She's started to wear barely there makeup that accentuates her lovely face. She does not wear much jewelry anymore other than earrings. She smiles much more often and seems to be settling into herself and Hogwarts. Her style has continued to become more causal with leggings, oversized tee shirts, and jeans becoming a more regular part of her wardrobe. She still generally wears bright colors and pastels, with maroon and navy also being common colors for her to wear. In general, she still prefers skirts when she is out of uniform. THIRD YEAR Ana has continued to grow and stands at 5'4" at the start of the year. Her hair is typically in a messy looking high ponytail or just down. However, the air of polish and perfection that she had through second year seems to have disappeared. She wears dark eye makeup and rarely smiles. She also constantly wears a chain that is tucked under her clothing. Later, it is revealed that it was her mother's necklace and Ana wears it as an attempt to be connected to her. She is also often wearing a friendship bracelet given to her by Willow Anderson. Over winter break, she dyes her hair blonde and her style makes yet another change. It is somewhere between her more formal outfits from her first and second years and her more edgy outfits from the first part of her second year. Her style is very classical in silhouette, reminiscent of her first year, but the reds and blacks have replaced the pinks and pastels for the most part. She also grows another inch and stands at 5'5". She still wears her mother's necklace on most occasions, although it is still not visible. She also begins to wear the Beckett signet ring after break at most times other than Quidditch or ballet practice. FOURTH YEAR Anastasia has reached her full adult height at 5'8". She sports a range of hairstyles, but they are all perfectly polished. The makeup that she wears is more obvious, but much more glamourous than her third year. She wears the Beckett signet ring and her mother's necklace nearly all the time. Her uniforms are still always pressed and perfectly arranged. Out of uniform, she generally dresses fairly formally, although she can be found in jeans on occasion. PERSONALITY Clever as the devil and twice as mean Reducio FIRST YEAR Anastasia comes across as very prim and proper, but really, she is the most radical person in her family. She has a wild streak that being in Gryffindor helps unleash and will probably cause problems with her parents in the future. She is also incredibly stubborn at times, not most of the time, but when she decides that she is going to be stubborn about something, she gets what she wants. She is an overachiever and likes everything to be perfect when it comes to school, and as such, most of the time at least, teachers absolutely adore her. She is fairly tightly wound, but very friendly. She is nice enough to most everyone and pretty popular, but she's only really close with a handful of people at school. She doesn't get picked on much, but if you make the mistake of being rude to any of her friends, you are certainly going to want to watch your back. She's a bit of a Queen Bee, and while she is nice to most people most of the time, she does have her moments. She is certainly a bit of a princess and tends to be a bit selfish, but then again, she is young and will hopefully grow out of it. SECOND YEAR Ana still seems very prim and proper to those who don't know her, but her more fiery and impulsive side is more dominant, mainly from the irritation of having spent so much time with her snotty Purelood parents. She smiles and laughs more when she's around her friends, and is more dangerous and temperamental when it comes to her enemies, including setting several people on fire. She is happier than ever despite growing tension with her parents. THIRD YEAR Ana's happier self from second year is all but gone. Nobody knows what happened over the summer, but it was clearly pretty bad. Between the trauma from the Blossom Ball and whatever happened to her over the summer, she is withdrawn and sullen. She lashes out at everyone, including most of her friends at the slightest provocation, and seems as though she is on the verge of a mental snap. She is uncharacteristically quiet when she isn't lashing out, and is bottling up most of her feelings about everything as she tries to process what has happened to her life. No one knows this part, but she spends most of her alone time sobbing over the mess that somehow is what she's going through. FOURTH YEAR Ana is surviving if not exactly thriving. All the burdens she has been forced to shoulder have matured her and she is a far cry from the young and happy person she was in years past. She is more controlled, and outwardly, seems an image of perfection. She struggles to trust people and even more to let people in. She tries to do it all and balance everything but she is struggle more than she is willing to let anyone know.

PRE-HOGWARTS Growing up in London SUMMARY Reducio Anastasia Beckett was born on December 21, 2006. She never quite had a close relationship with either of her parents, but they pampered her growing up and do love her in their own way. Anastasia grew up in Beckett Manor and had a fairly ideal, but boring childhood. She first showed signs of magic just after her fourth birthday. She and her mother had gone for a walk and Anastasia had pitched a fit. Her mother went to pick her up and was surprised to discover she couldn't since the girl had somehow made herself far heavier than a toddler should be. Her mother was thrilled as she realized that this was a sign of magic, and little Ana was so confused at her mother's reaction that she stopped her tantrum. Her father was equally thrilled and got her a new miniature racing broom. FIRST YEAR The New Start SUMMARY Reducio She has never met anyone from outside the Wizarding World. Nothing particularly interesting or traumatic happened during her childhood other than a cousin being disowned for running away after being sorted into Hufflepuff. Anastasia was eight at the time and was rather sad since she and the cousin had been fairly close, but her parents just told her that the cousin had chosen not to be a part of the family anymore. Since she was eight and hero-worshipped her parents, she just went with it. She was shocked and a bit horrified to end up in Gryffindor and knows that her parents would never want a Gryffindor. Her first year was relatively uneventful. She made several friends and was a prefect. Until the end of the year that is. She fell seriously ill and had to leave before exams. After she recovered, her parents picked her up and the family traveled literally everywhere imaginable. Of course, her family had a tutor for her, meaning that she stayed on track with her schoolwork surprisingly well. SECOND YEAR The Year She Went MIA SUMMARY Reducio The week she was supposed to go back to Hogwarts, in mid-February of her second year, they received word that her father's spinster aunt, Demeteria, was on her death bed. If this were any other relative, this wouldn't have affected Ana in any way. However, since Demeteria was absurdly wealthy (even for a wealthy pureblood) and had a close relationship with Ana, this meant that her parents hauled her back across the ocean to be with the ailing aunt. Ana had no other reason for this than wanting to see her beloved aunt once more. However, Ana's parents were hoping for something else. Since Demeteria had never married or had any children, she left everything to Ana. Since Ana wasn't yet of age, this meant Ana's parents. None of it mattered much to Ana at that point in time, but it certainly would later. Ana's parents had much control over her communications during this time, meaning that when Ana arrives back nearly a year later, none of her friends other than those deemed acceptable by her parents had heard anything from her at that time. THIRD YEAR Everything is changing SUMMARY Reducio The summer before her third year absolutely emotionally wrecks her. Her mother is killed and her father is sent to jail for it. Ana can't believe that her father did this, and pretty much goes radio silent for the summer, not even reading her worried letters from her friends. FAMILY HISTORY Reducio The Beckett family is an old and well established pureblood family. James Beckett III was born in 1905. He was a politician in the Wizarding World, advocating against muggle-borns and in favor of blood purity. He first met his wife, Bianca Addington, on one of his campaign trails, when she was 20 and he was 23. The Addington family was also an upper-class Pureblood family that was heavily involved in politics, but Biana's mother, Beatrice, was more focused on women's suffrage than most other Wizarding issues. Bianca had grown up painting signs and listening to her mother's decries about the rights of women. Bianca and James are wed shortly before the first world war and had five children, their oldest and heir being Alexander Beckett IV. Alexander Beckett IV was born in August of 1950. He was sorted into Slytherin and graduated from Hogwarts just before the beginning of the First Wizarding War. He and his wife, Angelica, met on the Slytherin Quidditch team and were married four years after graduating from Hogwarts. While they vehemently sympathized with the Dark Lord's side, they both cared far too much for their own well being to ever do more than the occasional shelter for Death Eaters when needed. Near the end of the war, Angelica gave birth to two sons, Oliver and Edward. When Oliver and Edward were four years old, Angelica was pregnant with a daughter, Mara, but both Mara and Angelica died in childbirth. This harshened Alexander, making Oliver and Edward's childhoods less than idyllic. Athena Switch was a promising Quidditch player and made it onto the Holyhead Harpies soon after graduating from Hogwarts. She was still dating her school sweetheart, Oliver Beckett, a young Manor Lord. They were both Purebloods, which was something Oliver was very proud of. Athena never had any issues with Muggleborns or Half-Bloods, but Oliver was very against Muggleborns and does look down on Half-Bloods. Athena was not a particularly strong-willed person, but Oliver certainly was. They had both been placed in Slytherin and had begun dating in their fifth year. Oliver's father died suddenly, leaving Oliver one of the richest wizards in England at barely 20 years old. Athena's career was blossoming, but Oliver convinced her to retire and marry him. After five years of marriage and several miscarriages, they had Anastasia. WIP: In short, Ana discovers her mother had an affair with a Muggle, resulting in a child when Ana was 7 [explaination for Ana not being aware of this is 1) she was a spectacularly self-centered 7 year old, and 2) her mother went away for a few months when she started to show]. The child lives as a Muggle with their father, and Ana currently has no idea that they exist. I am planning for Ana to discover and meet the half sibling at a later date. This doesn't change anything about her current backstory in terms of growing up as an only child but will affect her future. Reducio Raphael Switch and Violette S[witch/reducio] FAMILY MEMBERS Reducio OLIVER BECKETT Father(1) Reducio AGE: 40 BLOOD: Pureblood STATUS: Alive RESIDENCE: Azkaban NATIONALITY: English HOUSE: Slytherin Overview Reducio A strong-willed, wealthy Pureblood Wizard who believes strongly that Purebloods are superior to all else, and that there are some Pureblood families that are better than others. Likes getting his way and being thought of as an authority on most things. Relationship Reducio I do love my father, but I will say he's rather intense and quite strict. I know he only wants what's very best for me, but sometimes, I wonder what exactly that is. No matter, as Mother always says, Father knows best. He's harsh to be sure, and I certainly resent him for disowning me, but surely he's not capable of murder! Right? Less strict than her husband when she's alone with Ana, but when she's with her husband, she's just as harsh. Relationship Reducio Mother is certainly the, well, warmer parent, which isn't saying much. I suppose I'm closer to her than I am with Father, but that's really only because she taught me until it was time for Hogwarts. I love Mother, but despite what everyone says, I don't want to be her when I grow up. Alright, that's a bit of crazy talk.Mother was imperfect, and I have mixed feelings about choices she made, but I miss her terribly. Very sweet, Anastasia and her were very close until Amelia was disowned just before her fourth year. Recently graduated from Hogwarts. Passed away in Fall 2020, but Ana doesn't know about that yet. Relationship Reducio Oh, um, my mother said not to talk about Amelia anymore. She chose to leave our family and that's that. It was a pity, I did so love her. Don't tell anyone I said this, but she was rather my favorite cousin. AT HOGWARTS

POSITIVE Reducio RAFAEL D'SPACITO│Best Friend(10) Reducio Ana met the Quidditch Captain at a SWAG Club game, and the two instantly clicked. He also took a Flipendo for her within 10 minutes of knowing her, so she couldn't exactly not be friends with him. They stayed up late talking in the Common Room the night they met and ended up falling asleep on each other's shoulders. After that, Anastasia decided that he was one of her closest friends. Despite the fact they haven't known each other long, Anastasia trusts Rafa more than she trusts most of her friends, and would probably kill for him. Anastasia knows that this is someone that's going to be in her life for a long, long time. DOT DUTT│Close Friend(10) Reducio Anastasia and Dot became friends nearly instantly during their first year. Dot was part of the reason that Ana hexed her cousin and subsequently got detention in her first week of school. The two were becoming closer, but then Dot disappeared. Ana was saddened by her friend's disappearance and hasn't heard anything from her in over a year. IVY BELLAMY│Friend/Sister(9) Reducio The two girls met on Ana's third day back. Anastasia doesn't know exactly what to make of her doppelganger, but she's leaning towards liking the girl, just because the two are so similar in more ways than looks. Ana really deeply didn't want to like Ivy, but after they fought side by side at the ball, Ana has decided that they're friends. Ivy gets no say in this. The two discovered that they were half-sisters, but then Ivy switch schools, leaving Ana feeling more lonely than ever. She's not angry at Ivy exactly, just hurt that she left her and sick of people leaving her. HUGH LOWE│Friend(8) Reducio The two sat together on the train the first time they came to Hogwarts. They had feelings for one another, but the timing didn't work, and when Ana was gone, she wasn't allowed to write to him, so now Ana's pretty sure he hates her. SCOTT ALEXANDER│Friend/Crush(7) Reducio The two knew each other as prefects but didn't talk much. Then, when Anastasia came back from her year away, she tripped and fell in the library. Scott caught her, and Ana was a goner. The fierce Gryffindor turns into a puddle around Scott and he is utterly clueless. She managed to ask him to the Blossom Ball, but that was a whole separate mess... RHEA BISHOP│Acquaintance(7) Reducio The older girl comforted Ana when she was scared she was going to be disowned for being sorted into Gryffindor. Ana will always be grateful to Rhea, but she generally avoids her, since she's one of the few people who has seen Ana cry. Reducio ALAN VANES│Acquaintance(6) Reducio The two Gryffindors met one night in the Common Room, and neither particularly liked or disliked the other. They are now in the SWAG Club together. WREN CASTER│Acquaintance(6) Reducio Ana is rather fond of Wren and would like to get to know her better. LAMIK FILLESTAR│Acquaintance(6) Reducio The two met once in the Common Room at 2 am. They chatted for a bit and then Ana headed to bed. Since then, they've bonded over Quidditch and Ana can tolerate him generally. RUKA BURNETT-TAN│Acquaintance(5) Reducio The two have met once and Ana honestly doesn't remember most of it. She doesn't have a very strong impression of the other Gryffindor one way or another, which she supposes is a good thing since she makes enemies so easily and quickly. ERIS FAWLEY│Acquaintance(5) Reducio The two have met several times since their families have a lot of overlapping social circles. Anastasia doesn't particularly like or dislike the tiny Gryffindor. KYLE DEROOK│Sometimes Ally(4) Reducio Ana would certainly not seek out the company of Kyle DeRook, but she did hire him to go about Katrina Walker's brother. She's not fully decided, but he is rather irritating at best. NEUTRAL NEGATIVE Reducio AURELIA NOTRESVACE│Enemy(4) Reducio Where to start with Aurelia? Ana loathes her. Absolutely loathes her. Nobody really knows how the rivalry started, but it's certainly going. Ana has attempted to blackmail Aurelia, as well as burn something that she believed to be Aurelia's diary, while Aurelia has hexed Ana, and flirted with more than one of Ana's crushes in front of her. KATRINA WALKER│Irritation/Possible Kindling(2) Reducio Katrina interrupted Ana's studying when Ana was in an already foul mood on account of finding out that she was expected to make up the over 9 months of schoolwork that she had missed in less than two months. Ana was somewhat nasty to her, and considers Katrina to be utterly and completely pathetic. EYRE REEVES│Close Friend Enemy(3) Reducio Eyre and Ana have been friends practically forever and she trusts him a fair amount. They kissed in Spin the Bottle at the Gryffindor sleepover, but Ana didn't think much of it. Eyre may have though. Eyre wrote her faithfully at the start of her summer from hell, and sent her a few presents which made her grounding in the early days of the summer more tolerable. However, like everyone else, she stopped answering him altogether on July 11. She was rather nasty to him at the train station, and did also get into a nasty fight with him, so she's avoiding him for the moment. RORIE THOMPSON│Enemy[(1)/i] Reducio Ana has nothing but disdain for this little "guttersnipe". The two encountered each other in the Common Room, and Rorie instantly rubbed Ana the wrong way. Ana is absolutely thrilled that Roxie(she never could be bothered to learn the girl's name) seems to have disappeared. SCARLETT ADEN│Enemy(1) Reducio Scarlett was spreading rumors about Ana having murdered her parents, so naturally, Ana punched her in the face. Ana also did her best to murder Scarlett in first SWAG game. She hates Scarlett with a passion and will not rest until she is dead or expelled. ROSE MOON│Enemy(2) Reducio Ana dislikes Rose immensely. She approached Ana as a complete stranger and scolded her for her choices. Ana also blames her somewhat for her falling out with Eyre. Would definitely throat punch if given a chance. Reducio RUBY CAZARES│Best Friend(10) Reducio Ana and Ruby met and became friends during their first year. While Ana was gone, Ruby was one of the only people she wrote to, and the two became best friends. Ruby knows most of Ana's secrets, and Ana would likely kill for her. FLASH HOLMWOOD│Boyfriend(9) Reducio Flash and Ana met when they were both walking one morning and Ana felt an instant connection with him. While the Masq didn't go exactly the way either of them might have hoped, that was more than rectified a few days later when Flash asked Ana to be his girlfriend. With Ana's refusal to deal with her emotions over what happened with her parents, what could go wrong? DALE KURT│Friend(7) Reducio Anastasia considers Dale a good friend. She tends to teasingly flirt with him, but he's generally a pretty good sport about it. He also caught her falling out of a tree, saving her a trip to the Hospital Wing, so she thinks he's quite alright. ASTREA SOLEIL NEPTUNE│Ally(7) Reducio Astrea is definitely someone Ana would fight for. Astrea has proven time and time again to be a trustworthy and useful person to have in a tight situation. On the one hand, she gave Ana chocolate and is decent company that doesn't pry too much. On the other hand, she stopped Ana from finishing a fight that she was winning. POSITIVE NEUTRAL Reducio NICO SHYMANE│Acquaintance(6) Reducio Anastasia met the redhead once by tackling her. Long story, but then she didn't speak to the other girl for a while. Nico is one of the few people to have seen Ana in person between April 2019 and March 2020. It was, despite what the whiny little prefect may say, an accident. If the scaredy cat had minded her own business, Ana wouldn't have knocked over a candle and had an impromptu bonfire. APPEARANCE Reducio Alexei is surprisingly tall for a 13-year-old, standing at 5'7". He has light brown hair which he usually spends far too much time styling so that it looks effortless. He is muscularly built, and overall is rather physically intimidating to people his age. He has dark eyes that are constantly moving and never stop on one thing for very long. PERSONALITY Reducio Alexei is certainly special. He is bright, but lazy, meaning his grades are barely above average. He is also incredibly vain. Coming from a wealthy well-known pureblood family means that he has a certain confidence and air about him. He is extremely ambitious, with his personality aligning fairly closely to a Slytherin. He feels as though he has something to prove, and is completely dismissive and rude to people that he doesn't believe can help him further his goals. He would fight anyone who said this, but he is also extremely insecure. However, to hide his insecurity, he comes off as overly arrogant. His sisters were both Quidditch players during school, but Alexei isn't fond of the sport. He also has a need to assert his dominance around other boys, which means he doesn't have many friends. He tries to flirt with pretty much every girl he considers pretty but just comes off as a jerk. =======================================================================

BACKSTORY Reducio Alexei's childhood was fairly normal for a Pureblood. He has twin older sisters and 4 older brothers, Natalia is the eldest, she's currently finishing her last year of studying to become an alchemist. Her twin, Alia, is training to be a dragon master. His brothers are 2 sets of twins, Boris and Ivan, and Grigory and Yegor, respectively, that are all finishing up their last years at Durmstrang. Being the youngest means that he has a lot to live up to. He was also an unexpected child and grew up spoiled but lonely. All of his siblings were older and had someone that just seemed to get them. He never had that. Still, he had everything a child could ever want and his parents doted on their precious youngest. With so much to live up to, Alexei yearns to be exceptional. His mother, Anastasia, and his father, Leo, definitely coddle him. While having the family he has means that he feels like he's living in a shadow, he is the apple of their eye, and he has a genuinely good relationship with them. His mother is a Healer, and his father has some fancy job that Alexei really doesn't understand.
