Appearance:
With frizzy red curls mid-chest length and pale skin, Lizzie looks like your stereotypical red-head. Her eyes are a dull blue-grey and she has a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks. A little on the tall side, she stands at 4'10", with the doctors predicting she'll grow to 5'7 by the time she graduates.

Loud and talkative would be two words to describe Lizzie. With no filter between her thoughts and her mouth paired with how trusting she is, she could tell a complete stranger her life story if they as much as asked how her day had been. Although she has been trying to think more before she speaking, she still has a tendency to have a one-word answer turn into a paragraph full of things no one but her cares about. She occasionally tries to make friends with anyone she encounters but had to remind herself to be aware that not everyone will like her or want to be friends with her, and for the most part, she's okay with that. Although, at Hogwarts, she's found it a little difficult to make friends. It could be something about how she's so busy studying that she doesn't get out as often to talk to people, or maybe her extrovertedness is being toned down a little.

She's very friendly and loves to greet people she recognizes in the halls, whether or not she would actually consider them a friend. Don't think though, that because she always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude towards everything that she doesn't have her off days. To anyone who doesn't know her, her off days look like any other day. She still has a smile on her face (albeit forced) and she still talks to everyone, but on the inside, she just wants to sit in a corner and cry. It's small things like how often she would glance at the clock/door or how she carries her sketchbook around that would clue her friends into how she's not feeling well.

Although most of her characteristics point to her being a Hufflepuff, she has a very strong "mind over matter" attitude that leads her to more easily face her fears or face something that scares her. Additionally, it takes a lot for her to give up on a task. Being an artist, this was something she learned early on, as more often than not her work doesn't come out how she wants it to, and she has to show great determination in order to work with it and get it to a point where she's happy with it.

Like everyone else, she has her own inner demons that haunt her every day. Her's specifically are the feeling of constant loneliness. Despite how easily she makes friends and how many friends she has, she can't shake her inner skeptic that tells her that none of her friends actually care for her and that she truly is alone. This feeling only recently developed, and she's been struggling with it, not quite sure how to deal with it. Because of it, she finds herself asking her friends if they truly are her friends, and holding her cat closer than ever. She hopes that even if her friends don't really care for her, that her cat will, and she'll at least have one friend.

Lizzie was born April 11, 2008, to Dennis and Elise Callaghan. She is the middle child out of three, having an older brother and a younger sister, both of whom are two years older and younger than her, respectively. Her older brother, Sean, is a third year at Hogwarts and is also in Gryffindor. Her younger sister, Alani, has not yet shown signs of magic. Because only their mother is of magical descent, there was no guarantee that any of her children would be magic also.

When Lizzie was two, she fell down two flights of stairs, bouncing head over heels, but was unharmed. That was the first time she'd shown any sign of magic. The second time was when she was seven, and she'd gotten a bad haircut. Her hair had grown back to its previous state by the next day. Unfortunately, some of her muggle friends had seen her with the bad haircut, and then the day after when she didn't have the same haircut. Cue many questions and explanations made up on the sport. Exhibit A as to why kids with magic shouldn't attend muggle school.

Despite the possible consequences though, Lizzie attended muggle school until she was admitted to Hogwarts. In school, she was always just slightly above average. She easily did all the normal classwork but struggled in the "enlightened" courses. Her best classes were art and gym, her worst was English and science. She actually enjoyed muggle school and visits the friends she made there every time she's home.

On Lizzie's first train ride, she met Lindsey Springhall and they were quick friends. Although they both thought they would be in the same house, the sorting hat did not agree, and Lizzie ended up in Gryffindor and Lindsey in Hufflepuff. The two continued to keep in touch for the rest of the month, although it seems both of them got a little busy with school work and didn't really talk for the rest of the year.

October-December Lizzie doesn't have any threads for yet eek

Towards the end of the year, Lizzie finds herself getting lost more and more often, although she often seems to end up on the second floor. A notable time when she couldn't find her way back to the common room ended in a questionable figure that called themselves "Moon Rabbit" helping her get to her destination.

She does her first errand soon after that, in which she makes some teabag animals. Overall, she thought the experience was fun, but it wasn't something she'd do in her free time.
