Proud of what she had been done the past hour Béatrice leaned on her walking stick and nodded at the result of her work. Her classroom was now bare of any desks and chairs, which had all been shrunk to miniature sizes and were brought out of the room. Instead, countless little fireplaces littered the wooden floor. Each was contained by a ring of stones she had collected herself. During the last days of holidays, she has had plenty of time on her hand and had roamed the lake and edges of the near forest to get what she needed. This would be the first time she would meet the students in person in the privacy of her own classroom. Classes haven’t started yet for her, so she was especially curious to meet the young minds she would have the pleasure to teach.

When she had arrived in Hogwarts she had only brought what she needed the most, which was basically nothing but her closest belongings and a warm coat. Material things never meant anything to her, but now that she lived in Hogwarts, she had realized that certain things were a must. She was now in the possession of a tea set with more than one cup, just to mention one. Not that she had to use it thus far.

The number of candles she used for both her office and classroom, on the other hand, hit the ceiling: quite literally. The whole room was lit by hundreds of small candles that seemingly grew out of the wooden ceiling and its planks like mushrooms. She didn’t feel comfortable under big chandeliers and was easily distracted by their ever so faintly movement, so she had gotten rid of them almost immediately. Instead, she used her homemade candles, but her stocks had shrunk rapidly.
It was impossible to make enough candles on her own, so she had the idea to ask some newly arrived students for their help. A perfect opportunity to get to know them, and surely the students would be happy to do something else than being thrown into lectures immediately.

She had plenty of raw wax prepared, it was simmering in docents of small cauldrons which he had gotten from her colleague Potions Master Eliot Price. It had taken her a while to get down in the dungeon and back up again, but it was worth it. She inhaled the familiar smell of the liquid wax that mixed with some of the herbs she had laid out on the big table behind her. Standing on it was also a big bowl with freshly opened Chocolate frogs. She had far too many and hoped there will be some sweet tooths among the students. Everything was ready, all she had to do was wait.

OOC: You will find cauldrons filled with wax hanging over a fireplace. Béatrice likes to mix the wax with good smelling herbs that would burn down with the wax, filling the air with their odour. You may take whatever herb you want: Thuja, Salvia, Sweetgrass, Frankincense, Myrrh, Juniper, Mugwort, Lavender. If you want anything else you may ask Béatrice. Also, feel free to take one or two Chocolate frogs to eat, but don’t be greedy.
We will dip candles. That is done by dipping a thick thread into the wax over and over again and building it up layer by layer. You can do it alone or in a group of four or lower. You can engage with Béatrice at any time, just shoutout and she will come for help or to answer questions. This is not also an Errand but a thread opportunity with Béatrice. She will introduce herself to all of you as Miss Béatrice, she doesn't like to be called professor and wants to spare all of you of saying her name

Everyone who finishes the errand will get 6 Sickles and 4 Chocolate frogs; with cards of course. This Errand is open for all no matter your school year, but will be closed after 15 students in total have started.
