Diving Deeper:

Once upon a time lived a wizard named Erik who fell in love with the sea in more than one way as this tale will tell.  You see as a child he was nothing special about the lad his father was a fisherman and his mom a steam-stress. His father was born from a magical bloodline that he gave up when he married his wife. 

Fast forward to when Erik was a young graduate of Hogwarts.  After graduating he went to work for the magical world, but soon found out it wasn't for him.  The pull of the sea was calling him and he nearly ran to answer it by quitting his job, moving back to his hometown and learning the fishing business from his dad. Erik started hearing others about a lovely young woman who had washed ashore. The claims where that the sea rejected her and anyone who helped her would be cursed. Erik town was a bunch of idiots, to be honest, though he always knew there was a tiny bit of truth in every lie.

Ignoring all their warning even one of his parents he ran without hesitation to the beach.  Erik’s eyes instantly shot around the beach and that’s where his eyes fell on the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Not even, his time at Hogwarts was there such a magical moment as this.

Erik ran to her side as he picked her up and took her to his parents home until she regains consciousness. When she awoke she told him she was a siren cursed by her kind to never be able to return to the sea. The two of them ended up falling In love and having a beautiful baby girl named Roseline .

The family was frowned upon by the wizarding world as well as Erik’s parents. Roseline grew up in a lighthouse overlooking the sea that both of her parents loved. It wasn’t a bad life her parents gave her all the love and attention she needed, but something in her longed for adventure. Rosey was just a klutz her mother joked that she got that from her father’s side of the family. She also would wander off for long periods of time getting lost until her parents had to come find her.

The girl was a curious as a cat and would almost get into trouble daily for it. Her parents didn’t know what to do with her until her father reached out to an old friend for help. Erik friends suggested Hogwarts would be the perfect place, but they would have to hide the fact she was part Siren. So when her 11th birthday came she got a letter to Hogwarts. Her mother gave her a charm that would protect her from her siren blood showing.

No one can know she’s part siren for her own protection.




A Bright Future:

Rose hopes one day, she can work side by side with magical creatures to better the world of magic for both wizard and creatures alike. Even traveling the world, to find magical creature's that are hurt and bring them to the island for rehabilitating.

Erik Dove (Father ): Erik Dove left the ministry of magic for the normal life of a fisherman.  He's a good father and husband a bit too good at times since he is a pushover, who loves to spoil his girls. He always would take his family to town when he sold the fish to the local market even if Rose tried to hide the fish for herself. 


Caroline Dove (Mother) :

Kludd Wolvenbloed (Best friend): Rose meet this young male on the Hogwarts Express. They where compartment buddies and shared their thoughts about the first year on the whole way there. Rose felt an instant bond with the chocolate haired boy, that she could tell they would be the best of friends.  Rose was delighted when she found out he was in the same House as herself. 

Wolf Lykos: A young female Rose meet on the train that reminded Rose as a puppy. 

Lucas Baker (penpal): Ever since these two where young their parents have been thick as thieves.They’re the only ones other than Erik’s friend from Hogwarts who knows the family’s secret.  Every Christmas, Rose will try to stuff a bunch of snow into a letter to send to Lucas if he happens to be somewhere that there wasn’t any snow. Unfortunately enough all the snow would melt by the time it got to Lucas.  He would always tell her that the letter was ruin because of the melted snow so, she would send another letter with little snowflakes made out of paper.
