The Professors are asked to gather in the Headmaster's Office. They learn that a glove and a mask have been stolen from the Ministry of Magic using "muggle means". The Professors discuss what to do, the Professor of Care of Magical Creatures Solomon Lear suggests that they should send the children home while the staff and Ministry deal with this unknown threat. A snow globe portkey to Hogwarts seems to also be missing.

The masked ends up on a Ravenclaw first year student, Ben Eckenrode. He causes havoc all over the campus and is eventually stopped and saved from the mask. The man controlling Ben, the wearer of the glove evaded capture. However the mask did not remain out of play for long as it was re-stolen.

Scene I: The Auror intervention [The Mask]

Investigations into the Dominum Mask begin at the Ministry of Magic. Aurors Phinea Blishwick and August Vancleaf are given the task to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together and find the missing clues.  And based on what little they are given, it looks to be a daunting endeavour.  Perhaps their investigation will prove fruitful at Hogwarts.

After Vladimir's colourful display at the secret ball, he tended to take to himself. Over time, he manages to draw enough suspicion to have half his house pursue him into the Forbidden Forest. Once inside, the Ravenclaws are ambushed by two of the most terrifying things in the world: Dolls and acromantulas. After being alerted of the event, Alaric Equinox takes Caradoc with him to come to the Ravenclaws' aid.

Due to the events that transpired at the Secret Blossom Ball and in the Forbidden Forest, the Heads of Houses felt forced to tighten Hogwarts' regulations further. Re-instating positions such as a Groundskeeper and a Caretaker, an earlier curfew, as well as mandatory feeding hours for dhampirs in the hospital wing.

On top of this, the summer camp was moved to the London Quidditch Stadium, and all students were forced to go home in the second half of the upcoming summer. They also received a curious letter announcing Elliot Price's immediate re-assignment to St. Mungo's, the letter was signed by a certain T.A.

Over the last few months, there has been one prominent figure on the rise within the British wizarding community. Thaddeus Athanatos, described as London's number one pure-blood philanthropist, begins advocating for the squib movement known as S.C.A.R. Stating that these people are not ill-minded and should be embraced as brothers and sisters. Statements that give him support from the young, and criticism from the old.

The staff of Hogwarts had decided to hold the Hogwarts summer camp off-site. Deciding the International Tournament that was coming up might be the perfect replacement, they set up shop and host a few events in London. They bring the recently returned Headmaster Lear along with them, but he seems to be recovering from something severe.

Early on the trip, a handful of students veered away from the main travelling group and found themselves in a bookshop. Inside, there appeared to be a small and peaceful protest going on by several squibs of varying races. After a brief conversation, hell breaks loose as someone set the store on fire.

During the Summer Camp, all Slytherins were mysteriously invited to an underground club. The club seemed to house a secret fighting ring in which the arriving student would compete. At the end of it all, Victor Moore got stabbed to death… by darkness.

Before the new school year would start, a team of professors gathered at the entrance to the dungeons. Together they, old and new staff alike, descended into darkness, encountered three hags in one of the castle's deepest corridors. Although they defeat the darkness and the hags controlling it, one of the three managed to escape in the form of a cat.

Two dolls make an appearance at this event. One has an unhealthy obsession with Xailah Alptraum 'protecting' her from any bystanders. The other took it one step further in wanting to replace Breana Oliveire altogether.

All three students get tied up in a shack, but Kyle midnight transformation is imminent, and the girls will need to escape in time. Marcus Iwasaki finds that one of the werewolf children is missing and goes to hunt. On the way he picks up Elaine Pendrast to aid him in his quest.

In the meantime, back at the castle, Caradoc Browne orders for a complete castle lockdown. All students are held inside their common rooms for their own safety as four professors seal their entrances shut.
