Oh no! Does this mean I cannot simply take classes without being involved in RPs and things like that?

It does. You can participate in Games Threads, RP, or OOC chat threads. Classes are set up this way so we don't overload the Professors with homework from members who don't intend to stick around. I'm sure you can get to it in no time. If you need to find people to RP with, try here! If you have any questions, feel free to ask, or even owl. Some good threads to get you started include A First Year Entrance, The Sorting Ceremony, One's respective house table in the Great Hall, and one's respective house escort thread in the Corridors.

Do we have to owl the professors after completing the homework ? because its been 2 days and my home works is still pending for grading. or they check it when they have time ?

Professors have a lot of students and lot of homework to grade as well as other staff duties and their own lives. We are aware of any turned in HW, and it will be graded. But it might take a good few days, or longer, depending on how busy a Professor is. Please be patient.
