Prologue / Prior to Hogwarts:

James was born on February 2nd to Jack Henderson Sr. and Sarah Henderson. He also had a brother, who shared his father's name, Jack Henderson Jr. His middle name originates from his grandfather, Louis Henderson. James' first signs of magic occurred when he was only nine years of age. One day when James and his brother were at the park playing with a kite, the kite flew into a nearby tree just north of the park. James was able to command a group of squirrels to retrieve the kite out of the tree, and they did it in perfect coordination. He also used squirrels as a way to attack his enemies at his former public school he used to attend in Wemyss bay. Eventually, an owl flew overhead the house and dropped a letter addressed to James Louis Henderson, Wemyss bay Scotland. This letter was his Hogwarts letter.

When his parents were convinced, they went to Diagon alley to obtain the necessary supplies. Despite getting his books earlier than some, he still didn't read all of them. In fact, he only read one book. Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them by Newt Scamander. The one book alone took up most of his summer, and by the time Hogwarts started it was the only book he had read. When that time came, he rushed to platform 9 and 3 quarters and boarded the train to Hogwarts.

-Jesse Phoenix was a squib born to a (formerly) pureblood family. When his parents' found out he was a squib, his mother, Crucila Phoenix, disowned him and placed him into the muggle world. When he reached 18, he would marry Leila Peters and have two children.

Drake & Crucila Phoenix

-Drake Phoenix was a former ravenclaw, and shared the same belief as his parents on how purebloods should, and was strongly against Squibs, muggles, and muggle-borns. In his third year, Drake nearly killed another student out of spite for the boy's heritage. He later found the error of his ways, and changed his actions to not be so against muggle borns. He married Crucila, a fellow pureblood in an arranged marriage set up by their parents. Upon finding out his child was a squib, he didn't want to send him away, but his wife convinced him to regardless.

-Crucila Phoenix was a former Slytherin student, and shared similar beliefs to those of Drake's. Crucila became a prefect in her 7th year, and was married to Drake in the same year. Upon finding out her child was a squib, she immediately disowned him, not wanting anything to do with a squib as a child.

Hogwarts

First Year:

During his first year, James was sorted into ravenclaw. He sat down at his table, and as a few days passed eventually he made a few friends. He hasn't completely gotten the hang of the school, but is trying. He has learned two useful spells: lumos and wingardium leviosa. The rest is yet to happen.

The Phoenixes

The phoenixes are largely believed to be the first, or one of the first, families to ever domesticate a Phoenix. They originate in Egypt, and created a family-heirloom, known as the Phoenix bell, that would call their phoenix at will. It is a tradition to give the eldest child the phoenix, named Weather-Guide, when they come of age.

Mayroy Phoenix (Events take place at: 84 B.C.)    Mayroy Phoenix was a pure-blood citizen of Egypt, and inherited the Phoenix bell and Weather-Guide at the age of 19. He was taught magic by his father and mother, who were both pure-blood as well. He's most known for leading his family into the location of the roman empire that is present-day Turkey. He brought with him 4 sets of cousins, each containing to or more male heirs, heirs as in royalty, as the family had an inner sort of rule until the late 900s, two of his uncles and their wives, his twin brother, and his at that time one-year-old sister. He traveled to the Roman Empire via a set of boats they stool from a salesman.
Fura Phoenix (Events take place at: 60 B.C.- 40 B.C.) Fura Phoenix was the sister to Mayroy Phoenix. While most thought she wouldn't become the heir to take up the mantle of the phoenix after Mayroy died, she did. Unlike her cousins, Fura showed a sense of courage and bravery that stood apart from her cousins and brother. Shortly before Mayroy died due to disease, he chose Fura to rule in his place. Fura refused to give up her surname when she married, so kept it. Her son, Peter Phoenix, would move to ancient Greece shortly after his mother's death.
Jerrick Garrison / Manty Phoenix (Events take place at: 960 A.D. - 999 A.D.)    Jerrick Garrison's mother, Petunia Phoenix, was believed to have married a muggle named Ivan Garrison. After discovering Petunia was pregnant with what would become Jerrick Garrison, Ivan left and abandoned the family forever. Upon marrying the muggle, both Petunia and her unborn son were disowned and forced to live on the street. Petunia then moved to the southern parts of the world, never to be seen by her father again.

Once Jerrick became 14 and learned almost everything about magic he could from his mother, he decided to comfort his father, Ivan, and kill him using the killing curse. He then found his cousin, Manty Phoenix, and disguised himself as Manty using poly-juice potion for almost 12 years. Once he began to look more Manty, he decided to kill the real Manty, and continued to disguise himself. He married his 6th cousin and had two sons.
George Phoenix (995 A.D.)    George Phoenix was the eldest of Jerrick's/Manty's two sons. He was born in 984, and was one of the first generations to attend Hogwarts. Because of his pure-blood status, he was put in Slytherin house upon his arrival. He was skilled in his abilities in both transfiguration and potions, skills he took after his father. He had some interactions with Merlin, but didn't have a very close relationship with him. In fact, he despised Merlin's interaction with the muggle, Arthur, saying that he Merlin should have been a squib. This would lead him on his path as a dark wizard, killing several muggles until being killed his illegitimate son, Mayroy Phoenix V.
Jesse Phoenix (~1300) Jesse Phoenix was the second squib in the Phoenix's families history, and was a descendant of Mayroy Phoenix V, and the son of Drake Phoenix, a ravenclaw known for his skill in defense against the dark arts while at Hogwarts. The squib married Leila Peters, who later became Leila Phoenix. Jesse was disowned, abandoned, and abused by his family. He is an ancestor to James himself.
Kylia Phoenix    Kylia Phoenix was the last known person to carry the Phoenix name. She was a death-eater and a proud Slytherin, marrying a pure-blood family and taking their name. Kylia died around 1950 in Azkaban after being sentenced to a life in Azkaban for nearly exposing the magical community by killing an entire town of muggles and being a follower of Voldemort.
