Personality
Ashlyn is an excitable and friendly person, who loves to make friends everywhere she goes. Awkward at first, she warms up quickly to new people who she vibes with. She is hard working and believes that putting the work will reap great rewards so when it comes to her studies, she aims to get the best grades she possibly can. However, she can be quite stubborn and is not always considerate of other people's feelings, so not everyone likes her.
Life story (including Family)
Before Hogwarts
Ashlynn was born into a halfblood family, her mum being magical whilst her dad was non-magical. She has an older brother of two years, named Arthur who is a notorious troublemaker and sports enthusiast. That same passion transferred to Ashlynn as she joined as many sports as she could during primary school. Some of those sports include Swimming, Netball and Volleyball. Her first instance of magic was when she wanted cookies that were out of reach at six years old (Food is a great motivator for anyone!). Her father, whilst not understanding the wizarding world, is supportive and happy that his two children are magical yet also slightly scared. Her father, Christopher Nettle, works as a Professor of Biology in the University of Glasgow whilst her mother, Hanna Nettle (Née Greenfield), works as a magical archaeologist. She did not see her mother as much since her mother was always away on some expedition, leaving Ashlynn and the rest of the family with little tp no contact. However, her relationship is still truly alright with her mother and she adores her older brother who inspired her to join the volleyball team in primary school/center]
First Year
Ashlynn boarded the Hogwarts Express and travelled to Hogwarts to start her magical schooling. She was sorted into Slytherin House, being one of the few members of her family for that to happen. Her brother was sorted into Gryffindor when he first came so it was quite a shock.
