Index Registration
Your Encyclopedia Page is a page where you describe your character, chronicle your character in the site's timeline and the method by which we document your stats so that you can participate in Quidditch matches, dueling, broom racing, adventures or contribute to the main story of the site. This serves as a resource for other players that wish to roleplay with you so that they can understand your character better and for moderators as this is a repository of all of your statistical information.
How Do you Become Registered in Index:

Character Statistics: Your stat total should be 35 if fully human, 30 if you have a special ability/race.
Character Special Race/Talent: If your character is a magical race (such as part Veela) or has a magical talent (such as Metamorphmagus) please state the name of it here and provide us with the application. You can find all talents and races on the first page of the list of magical races, magical talents and special abilities.
Remember: you need to register your character to Index within 30 days of validation to be eligible for a magical race (such as part Giant) or have a magical talent (such as Parselmouth) and you need to write a 500 word (maximum of 2K word) application describing how this fits your character (as in describe how they exhibit this magical talent or race) and where it came from (example, your grandmother was a Vampire, you had a distant Seer ancestor, etc.). Once you are registered as human, you can no longer apply for a special race.
Character Backstory: This needs to be 220 words (maximum 2K words) on its own. In validations the entire application with your appearance and first magic needed to total 220 words, so for many of you we will be looking for you to expound upon your character.
First Instance of Magic: This should have already been written to pass validations. We just want a copy written in this application so we have a record of this.
Applying for a special race is part of your registration. Do not split your registration into multiple posts, your special race application should not be posted separately.
3. Once your character has been approved by a staff member, your name will be added to Character Index (Link) by a moderator. You do not need to do anything more for this unless a moderator contacts you stating that they require additional information. The Character Index is what the staff uses to graduate players every year, so you must be on the Character Index to graduate to the next year by July 1 of each year.
4. Update your Character Sheet as needed. Keep it pretty and up to date. As you learn more spells, gain more stats or special abilities you will need to have that information added by a moderator to your trunk. Hera, the youngest child of the family, was born on January 13, 2012 in Washington, England. She has an older brother named Alex. There are 3 years between them but since they look nothing like each other, most people do not believe they are siblings.
Her mother, Pearl, and her father, Stephen, were constantly fighting. Hera 6 When Alex was 9 years old, his mother and father separated. As a result, Pearl began living with her older sister, Star. Hera hasn't seen her father since she was little. Star revealed that she was once a Ravenclaw. She was a little too strict about his lessons and taught Hera and Alex. Hera and Alex grew up listening to their mother and aunt's memories of Hogwarts. When Alex started Hogwarts, he came home and listened to his memories of this year.
She performed her first spell at Christmas time when she was 8 years old. When he saw the snake while opening the gifts, she set the tree on fire out of fear, but nothing happened to the gifts. It was later revealed that the person who made this joke was Hera's brother Alex. As a result, his aunt and mother became very angry with him. But Hera was never angry at her brother for doing this, because thanks to him, the first example of magic appeared.
Her mother was interested in muggles, so he lived in the muggle world for a while (to better understand it). During this time, her mother became interested in the muggle musical instrument piano and charcoal drawing, and when she saw that Hera was also interested in this, she taught her too. That's why his hobbies include playing the piano and pencil drawing.

- As a pureblood and knowing nothing of the muggle world you wouldn't have done pencil drawings, pencils aren't a used writing method in the wizarding world. Same with Guitars.

Elvenia is from one of the powerful pure blood family. She grew up in a large mansion. Her parents are rich but never flaunted. Her parents are sweet and loving. They are always ready to know about muggles and are too fascinated about them, due to this curiosity of her parents she knows a lot about muggle life and is always ready to read a book about them. Her father is an Alchemist while her mother is an author. She has a younger brother named Advik. Eventhough they both love each other they do have disputes. On August 10th, 2012 there was a blonde haired, green eyed baby girl born, she was Yekaterina Valdimir. Yekaterina Belladonna Vladimir was born to a french model/fashion designer named Fleur Dupont, a german healer named Missy Keller, and a russian businessman named Orion Vladimir. Missy went to Ilvermorny and was sorted into Horned Serpent, Fleur went to hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin while Orion went to Durmstrangs and it is unknown where he was put. She is the youngest of Katrina, Boris, and Alicynia who are all currently going to hogwarts, all of which were sorted into Slytherin. She was spoiled endlessly by her parents and siblings who believe her to be a blessing because Fleur was told she wouldn't be able to conceive after Boris, they wanted her name to fit so they named her Yekaterina which means Pure. She always had friends before hogwarts and even modeled between the ages of 4 and 8, but her family was always her truest supporters. She has a Black kitten named Sabrina and a snake named Loki, neither of which she wishes to bring to Hogwarts, she would do anything for her pets. Shortly after Boris was born, her parents met and fell in love with Missy who gave birth to Alicynia. Although only Orion and Fleur are married and Missy is their unmarried partner seeing as the three of them being married is illegal, Boris, Katrina, and Kat still consider Missy to be their mother nonetheless.

Character Backstory: They grew up being the popular bully. They had many friends that they never truly deserved. Notably was their closest friend Mars, who had died young in a car accident. Jax made horrible jokes about her death, since their method of coping is humor- but nobody got that, and eventually everyone left them because of it. They vowed to not be rude like that ever again- or at least try.
They always had a love for cosplaying. They would always dress up all fancy for Halloween, often as characters from games or shows they like. They especially like their pink decorative contacts, and would occasionally complain about having to take them out.
They had a brilliant education- but it wasn’t enough for Jax. Their brain just wasn’t wired for that type of education. The mathematics, english words, scientific method.. it all just went over their head their whole life. Of course, their grades matched that. D’s and F’s all around. They were scared of getting in trouble with their parents. But they were never punished, nor were they punished the many times they got suspended.
Jax's parents would spoil them all the time. New gaming systems, new sports equipment-
Eventually Jax stopped being grateful. They had everything they wanted handed on a silver platter. Eventually, it had gotten boring to them.
First Instance of Magic: When they were 8 years of age, on their birthday, Jax had made the realization of how their parents would give them basically everything. This power had gotten into their head. At their party, one boy who was a friend's brother and a few years older, called them out on this. Jax was mad. Very mad. This boy who they had no relation to was ruining their party by calling them out as manipulative. They screamed and cried at him, and eventually this caused food to go flying at the boy. Jax was very embarrassed by this, but also in awe.

Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it):
Jax grew up as a spoiled, almost bratty child. What if this is because their parents knew their talent? Metamorphs often show signs of their talent in infancy, so perhaps Jax’s parents had seen the phenomenon of the hair color changing, and thought that Jax was blessed by the gods, and would give them things as “offerings” to those gods. Jax wasn’t one for asking logical questions, so they probably would never question the strange changes in appearance. Other students would probably like them because of their talent, but when they ask why it could possibly ever happen, Jax would brush it off as some strange phenomenon in nature that must not have been properly studied. Their hair or nails or any of the sort was not anyone’s business in their eyes. All they could think of is how this could affect the quality of their cosplays. If they could learn to control this, they would be able to consider themself the greatest cosplayer of all time!
However, this ability could potentially frustrate them, as they are known for their irritability. The talent would allow them to better realize that even if they try at something, they might have problems with being able to control their appearance at will, or being able to control emotions to stop their appearance from suddenly changing when they are angry or sad. They always had things handed to them on a platter- except for their grades and academic punishments, but they never tried to stop those issues- so when they try and fail it will be frustrating, but they can’t simply quit since they were born this way, so it can possibly lead so some development as they scream and cry in frustration while they try controlling their appearance and fail. They are a perfectionist when it comes to this type of ability- the kinds they actually try at. The whining and crying would cause other people issues all throughout school.
Their cosplaying career would skyrocket in their eyes- at least if they could get good at controlling it themself. Until then, they have to stick with wigs. Even then, they might have trouble keeping their hair short enough to fit into the one hairnet they have, or keeping their hair from peaking from within the wig as it grows and changes color with their emotions. They even have cosplays where they feel they don't need a wig- those would be completely ruined with their emotions changing while they get frustrated by some small, minuscule thing that never frustrates anyone, but Jax and their anger issues would never let those small things slide. And boom. Cosplay ruined.
They would likely brag about how cool their talent is, just to be humbled by a seer, parselmouth or another metamorph as they realize they aren't the only person with a natural yet un-natural talent in the wizarding world. Their parade would be rained on for a while, until they realize that even still, they should be happy and proud- just not to brag.

For Your Metamorphmagi Application:
- You have two arcane power for your metamorph Application. Remove one of them. Remember Metamorph's have a limit of 30 total for their skills.
- Keep in mind for a muggle born to have this ability, there does have to be magical heritage on both parents side of the family, even if it's unknown.
- Also know that muggles would freak out if seeing your character morph infront of them. Please either explain how your character hides their morphing happenings, or remove mention of muggles seeing these various changes happening in front of them.

First Instance of Magic:Helena was born in Bristol, England to Inessa and Sebastian Rose. Helena being the only child to her parents grew up a rather quiet childhood. Both of her parents being from wizard lineage held strong beliefs that they were better than Muggles and Muggleborns, drilling their beliefs into Helena’s head. When Helena turned five her family left Bristol and moved to Liverpool living life comfortably in their nice fairy large home.
The Rose family tended to associate mainly with other Pureblood families not wishing to interact with the muggle world as little as possible. Sebastian Rose ran his own business in the wizarding world providing for his family. While Inessa Rose stayed home a majority of her team tending to their only child and gossiping with other women that she was close to back from her days at Hogwarts. The Rose family usually tended to throw gatherings and parties with their peers and other family members.
Growing up was comfortable and quiet for Helena; she spent a majority of her time reading or tending to her family's garden against her parents' wishes. When the young girl wasn’t off in her own world she would be preparing for her family's festivities and dinner parties. During these times Helena would stand off more to the side not wishing to participate or contribute in these gatherings. Large gatherings always seemed to throw Helena off in a loop and seemed to confuse her greatly. Even though Helena wished to try and make friends she never seemed to feel the same or have the same beliefs as her peers that would attend her family’s gatherings.
As years went by Helena grew more quiet, sticking mainly to herself, rarely interacting with her parents or any visitors that would arrive at the Rose residence. When Helena received her Hogwarts letter it was not surprising at all nor did it come as a shock it was relieving for the young girl to receive it. Even though Helena was nervous to the point she could feel sweat pour down her face, but at the same time the young girl was beyond excited to begin her new journey to Hogwarts.
It was a cool fall evening. Helena was only the age of five when the young honey blonde haired girl was playing with her toys quietly in her room alone. While Helena was playing alone by herself. Inessa Helena’s mother walked into the room staring down at her young daughter with a small scowl. Shaking her head the older woman gathered the toys from her daughter placing them up above onto a high shelf. Staring her daughter down before storming out of the room.
Helena frowned slightly as her mother stormed out the young girl glancing up at her toys growing rather unhappy before looking back towards the front of her door again. When Helena looked back upwards the young girl noticed the toys were no longer on the shelf but on the ground near the young girl. Shrugging it off Helena went back to playing with her toys not realizing that she made them fall down with magic.

Character Backstory: I was born on July 21st, 2012, to Jonas Avrend (A Scottish-born muggle) and Camila Herrera (A witch who moved to Europe from Mexico before starting Hogwarts). In 2014, someone broke into our house and attacked, killing Dad via the Killing Curse and mentally scarring Mum with The Cruciatus Curse (Though thankfully not as bad as the Longbottoms).
Meanwhile, I somehow wasn't harmed by the Cruciatus Curse. From what I know, the curse backfired somehow. Saint Mungo healers diagnosed me with PTSD, which can mess with magic, though thankfully it's not so bad I can't attend Hogwarts.
From that day on, I was branded a freak despite the fact that I wasn't cursed... right?
It makes sense since my magic is... well, maybe aggressive is a better word. My magic is a little harder to control (Maybe I should take Divination in Year 3, since I see a LOT of tutoring sessions in my future. Sorry, bad joke.) but it's more or less normal enough that I can still attend Hogwarts.
As for the attacker, apparently, he's a Dark Wizard named the Ruin who escaped Azkaban decades ago and he works as a magical assassin. I personally have no clue why he went after my dad, but the reason is my dad, despite being a Muggle, helped the Magical Law Enforcement department by supplying them with information they couldn't get easily, but he could because of his job with the National Crime Agency. He must have uncovered serious information about the Ruin, which made him a target.
For years, I have been doing my best to help my mother with the occasional help of my aunt who is named Septima Herrera. She's, no joke, a criminal Queenpin (Yes, I am trademarking that) known as the Señora de Pociones (Meaning "the Mistress of Potions") wanted by MACUSA for illegal trade, assault, and use of an Unforgivable Curse. Since MACUSA has issues getting the proper evidence to hold or arrest her, she constantly comes over to our hidden home in Scafell Pike to help, whether it be menial tasks or money.
Now, I'm starting my first year at Hogwarts...
First Instance of Magic: During a temper tantrum when I was 6, I unintentionally created a small spark when I slammed one of my fists against the ground. That spark ignited some leaking gas from my mother's Volkswagen and accidentally blew it up, which almost made me look like that Muggle Comics villain Two-Face. Thankfully, Tía Septima was there and she used magic to get me away before I could get hurt and/or burn alive.

Years after what happened to her family and a year before she started Hogwarts, Sonya decided she wanted to learn everything about the nature and Psychology of sentient beings, from Humans to Goblins to giants and more. Her aunt Septima noticed and actually got her books on specific beings and races and a few Muggle Psychology books as well. All of those helped her personal studies, which ranged from criminals to citizens to politicians and more.
One particular day, Sonya heard from some of the older wizards and witches in the nearby town of Keswick that a pack of Werewolves were passing through Keswick and had set up camp near Scafell Pike. Excited by the prospect of Werewolves essentially in her backyard, Sonya begged her aunt to let her visit the Werewolves and after 3 days of it, she finally caved, allowing Sonya to do so, only because she had both means to background-check the members of the pack AND a silver knife Sonya could use (and knows how to use) if ABSOLUTELY necessary.
Plus, Septima taught Sonya how to fight without magic in case she's in a situation where she can't pull out a wand (Which she didn't even have yet).
As for WHY Septima trusted Sonya to be alone? Septima was not like her sister, AKA Sonya's mother. She believed Sonya could protect herself should anything bad happen, or at least have the judgement to run. Also, the next full moon wasn't for 3 weeks.
Plus, Septima happened to know one of the Werewolves in the pack, a man named Alister. They worked together for a few years and parted on good terms, so Septima trusted that Sonya would be safe. Septima actually found the prejudice against Werewolves rather silly and she made sure her niece understood why at a young age. After all, Werewolves are capable of great good or evil, just like your average human.
Ecstatic, that night Sonya (After a 2-hour-warning/pre-lecture) went down to meet the Werewolves but accidentally took a wrong turn and... well, a 10-year-old Witch might not be the best thing to deal with a wild boar, which Sonya was surprised to learn lived in Scotland for quite a long time.
Sonya nearly met her end until a shrill whistle knocked the Boar off-course. The whistle came from a girl who looked roughly around Sonya's age, maybe a few months older, who jumped out with a knife and managed to stab the boar several times before getting thrown off. The boar died from its wounds and the girl introduced herself as Ashia, one of the Werewolves. Sonya helped Ashia drag the boar back to the Werewolf camp and quickly became fast friends.
Plus, none of the Werewolves tried to eat her, especially after Sonya gave Alister a letter written by Septima. Win-win!
Sonya's aunt made that same joke and then got lectured for 50 minutes. Who would have guessed? (Everyone.)
Over the next couple of weeks, Sonya learned as much as she could have ever wanted about Werewolves and even made a great friend. Looks like Professor Emerett Picardy was totally wrong with his book "Lupine Lawlessness: Why Lycanthropes Don’t Deserve to Live."
However, things just HAD to get messy.
One night, while Septima was busy working on a deal, Sonya and Ashia were hanging out and they forgot one very important thing: that night was a full moon. It's hard to keep track of lunar cycles when you've been spending the last few weeks having the time of your lives.
They already had a few close calls, including a time when Ashia was over for dinner, forgot about the full moon, and started to change halfway through eating Pozoles, so when the moon came out and Ashia started to change, Sonya knew to run as fast as possible through the woods.
Now, not only did Septima have her working out for at least 2 years by then, but she also grew up on the mountain and in the surrounding forest and knew them like the back of her hand.
BUT Ashia had the advantage of speed and a Werewolf's sense of smell, and luck is a crap idea. After a minute of running, Ashia caught up to her in an open field and tackled Sonya. Septima suddenly came in to save Sonya (Because she's smart enough to keep a Lunar Calendar on her desk and she FINALLY looked at a clock, which made her say 9 different swears in English and Spanish. Plus, Septima could see them from her office window, so she apparated straight to them. Thank God for moonlight.) but not before Sonya was bitten by Ashia.
Afterwards, Ashia helped Sonya learn how to control her lupine instincts until her pack eventually had to move on. Ashia asked Sonya to come with them, but Sonya chose to stay so she could help her mother before heading to Hogwarts. Sonya and Ashia are still in contact to this day.

Character Backstory: I was born on July 21st, 2012, to Jonas Avrend (A Scottish-born muggle) and Camila Herrera (A witch who moved to Europe from Mexico before starting Hogwarts). In 2014, someone broke into our house and attacked, killing Dad via the Killing Curse and mentally scarring Mum with The Cruciatus Curse (Though thankfully not as bad as the Longbottoms).
Meanwhile, I somehow wasn't harmed by the Cruciatus Curse. From what I know, the curse backfired somehow. Saint Mungo healers diagnosed me with PTSD, which can mess with magic, though thankfully it's not so bad I can't attend Hogwarts.
From that day on, I was branded a freak despite the fact that I wasn't cursed... right?
It makes sense since my magic is... well, maybe aggressive is a better word. My magic is a little harder to control (Maybe I should take Divination in Year 3, since I see a LOT of tutoring sessions in my future. Sorry, bad joke.) but it's more or less normal enough that I can still attend Hogwarts.
As for the attacker, apparently, he's a Dark Wizard named the Ruin who escaped Azkaban decades ago and he works as a magical assassin. I personally have no clue why he went after my dad, but the reason is my dad, despite being a Muggle, helped the Magical Law Enforcement department by supplying them with information they couldn't get easily, but he could because of his job with the National Crime Agency. He must have uncovered serious information about the Ruin, which made him a target.
For years, I have been doing my best to help my mother with the occasional help of my aunt who is named Septima Herrera. She's, no joke, a criminal Queenpin (Yes, I am trademarking that) known as the Señora de Pociones (Meaning "the Mistress of Potions") wanted by MACUSA for illegal trade, assault, and use of an Unforgivable Curse. Since MACUSA has issues getting the proper evidence to hold or arrest her, she constantly comes over to our hidden home in Scafell Pike to help, whether it be menial tasks or money.
Now, I'm starting my first year at Hogwarts...
First Instance of Magic: During a temper tantrum when I was 6, I unintentionally created a small spark when I slammed one of my fists against the ground. That spark ignited some leaking gas from my mother's Volkswagen and accidentally blew it up, which almost made me look like that Muggle Comics villain Two-Face. Thankfully, Tía Septima was there and she used magic to get me away before I could get hurt and/or burn alive.

Alexander Valentine Mason was born a very healthy baby boy, on February 14th, earning him his middle name. His parents are two muggles that live in London, where he was raised. They raised him on what they loved, his mother Scarlet, loved all the ‘nerdy things’ where he got his love of comics, and superheroes. His father Henry, is where he got his music taste. He grew up normal, going to muggle school. Were he excelled in history and music. He did have a few bullies, that thought his interests were dumb and nerdy. Alex did his best to ignore them, and it worked well until his first instance showed. After that all happened, when he went home that day and told his parents what happened. They brought him out of school to homeschool him. So that he would not have to deal with them any more. He really appreciated this, and it was much better than the school he was doing. Not many more major things happened in his life, when he was ten he got a baby sister, that his parents named Julia after his Dad’s grandma. Alex loves his sister, and cares for her a lot. Then when he turned eleven things took a major turn in his life. A person claiming to be a wizard showed up on the Mason doorstep, they also claimed that Alex was one two. They said all these things, and mentioned how Alex was welcome to study magic at a school called Hogwarts. Where as his parents saw disbelief Alex saw wonder, and amazement. The stuff he only dreamed of was real. After quite a bit of convincing the Hogwarts professor let them know where to get his things for school, and what to do to get him there. He was going to be a real superhero. His parents still did not fully believe, it all changed when they all first got to diagon alley, then they truly had to accept that there son was going to be a wizard.

Character Backstory: Lila grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and didn't move to the British Isles until she was eight years old. She never knew her birth parents or why they decided to give her up, but her life was so full of love growing up that it didn't bother her, as she was raised since birth by a wonderful and eccentric older lady named Gertrude Brooks. Gertie raised her with a sense of muggle spirituality that was really formative for her, such as connecting with nature & animals in a non-magical way. This upbringing has strongly affected her relationship with magic and her values within the magical community.
When she was eight, Gertie passed away and she was sent to live with her next of kin, Gertie's daughter Kristie, who lives in Tullamore, Ireland. Although the adjustment was difficult, Kristie and her wife Shannon are amazing parents to her and her little sister Inez (age 4). She spends a lot of time tending to the flowers in her garden and reading to her black and white cat Molly. Shannon has also taught her how to sew so she makes her own clothes sometimes (often with askew buttons and crooked seams). She wanted to be an author or comic-book artist, but when a strange woman arrived to her farmhouse and informed her that she could use magic, she changed her plans immediately.
First Instance of Magic: When Lila was nine, she was reading her favorite comic book under her sheets at night. In this issue, the brilliant Inspector Cortex was protecting the Earth from helmet-clad Dalmatians from space, and it was getting pretty intense. In the thick of the action, Inspector Cortex was interrupted by Brainley, his assistant, with a very humorous observation. She laughed harder and louder than she should have at this time of night. Her reading lamp flickered and the light went out. When she woke up, it was revealed that her laugh had caused the lightbulb to explode, with the shards collected in a tidy pile like daisy petals under the lamp. Of course, she thought it was just a freak accident, like every other anomaly in her decidedly strange life until she realized she was a witch.

- We are a little confused with your character's first instance of accidental magic-- stockings, usually over time, are ripped. How was this unintentional? She was uncomfortable with them, but what strong emotion did she feel about them that made them shred into pieces when they were taken off? In a way, it does also seem intentional because she did not like the stockings from the beginning.

He grew up watching this wizarding world. His mother died years ago, so his father is a single parent. Avradeep's mother died in a muggle car accident when he was 2yrs old. At that time she was coming home with her muggle relatives. Avradeep have no brother and sister. Avradeep's father love him very much. Avradeep always gets what he wants from his father. It doesn't mean he is a bully. He always helps others in need. Avradeep loves music and books but he is also a great lover of quidditch . He always wanted to join Hogwarts. He is also quite enthusiastic about wizarding chess.
He is a Chudley Cannons fan. Quidditch is his love. He wants to join Hogwarts Quidditch team. He is big fan of Dueling too.Avradeep is also a enthusiastic broom racer and believes that superior brooms can get a win always. His favourite broom is firebolt.

His father later told him first magical instance usually happens due to anger , sudden happiness sadness, enthusiasm, fright ,embarrassment. He was at that time in house in London with his father.
His father also told him that underage magic is restricted
