Preptober Weekly Writing Prompts [Activity] - Errands

In line with our Preptober for NaNoWriMo, this year, we also wanted weekly writing prompts to spark your writing muse and get you thinking about your character in their setting. Consider this additional prep for the novel, allowing you to get into the headspace of your characters.

Each week, one prompt will be posted in a new thread. Players will have seven days to complete the writing challenge and post in that thread in order to gain rewards. Each prompt will have a minimum word count of 400 words and will reward either sickles or frogs.

Week 1 - 3rd to 9th October - Reward: 20 sickles

Week 2 - 10th to 16th October - Reward: 4 chocolate frogs

Week 3 - 17th to 23rd October - Reward: 20 sickles

Week 4 - 24th to 30th October - Reward: 4 chocolate frogs
You will be required to post in the specific prompt thread before the deadline in order to qualify for the reward. Rewards will be given collectively at the end of the month/early November.

Rules:
You DO NOT have to participate in October Prep for NaNo to join, nor do you have to join this event to get rewards for the October Prep tasks.

If you are participating in Preptober, you can use one of your main characters and the setting that you have set your world in. If you are not participating in Preptober, you can make a character - any character really, as long as you adhere to site rules and ratings. Using real people, plagiarising a character, or disrespectful depictions of any ethnicity/race/gender/person living with a disability or illness, etc. is against site rules, therefore not allowed. This character should be the same one you use throughout all the prompts for consistency. You cannot use your player character, an iNPC or a dNPC or anyone else set in the Hogwarts.io world.

Restrictions of Preptober still apply. Because this will be published IC in the universe and on-site, this cannot be a Harry Potter fanfic as it will take too much time for the moderation staff to monitor and review to make sure that the writer adheres to the canon. This cannot be an AU story of this community that uses the players here, these players belong to their owners (their writers).

Since these prompt stories will exist on the site, it still needs to follow the site ratings in both threads. Specific information can be found about the site rating here.
