Cheryl is a small girl with 140cm (4’7) on height, 41kg of weight and health build, her hair have a dark brown-black shade color with a straight texture that goes down to her shoulders. She have a warm olive skin with golden undertones, her eyes have a dark brown color accompanied with long eyelashes.

You can say Cheryl is a introverted most part of the time, hardly will start a conversation with people she don’t know well, especially when she don’t have a goal or topic to talk about in her mind, but she can be the extreme opposite when talking with the ones she knows and feel comfortable with, a example was when she sit next to Garbles and started to talk with him while he was organizing a pile of books in a book shelf, in the end of a unilateral conversation he walked outside and before going out he said “For a girl that don’t talk with anyone in this house, you talk too much”. Independently of the case she treats people with respect and prefer to stay away from pointless fights, she is also a good listener, hearing people is a good way of getting to know them.

Cheryl is the daughter of Alice Almeida and Edmund Blake, born in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 17th of June 2011. She is the result of the union between a muggle mother and pureblood father making her a half-blood, but she lived the biggest part of her life among muggles without knowing about her wizard lineage, thanks to her mother. Being a only child rewarded Cheryl with all the attention she could get from her mother, at least when she wasn’t occupied with house errands or working, if that was the case Cheryl would get anxious to see her mother finish whatever she was doing so Cheryl could enjoy the attention again. Still she wasn’t always with her mother, who has to work, being left in a kindergarten or with her grandmother when necessary.

Her mother kept Cheryl distant of the wizard world and her father because she was concerned about the reaction of her family, which is predominant Christian, if they find out about her relationship with a wizard. This relationship flourish in the period Alice stayed 2 years in England by a student exchange of her faculty, but when the exchange was coming to an end she got pregnant... So Edmund decided to explain that he really couldn't stay with Alice "his family wouldn't allow it", besides they already expected him to marry another woman. Alice went back to Brazil and gave birth some months later, which way Cheryl could only meet her father several years later after her first incident with magic.

First Instance of Magic

The incident happened when she was 8 years old in one of the meetings her family normally do in the end of the year. Cheryl was playing hide and seek with her cousins, in the middle of the play she decided hide inside a wardrobe and unluckily one of her cousins saw it and had the bright idea of lock her inside, she noticed that and tried to open the door while asking him to unlock it, but unfortunately he was already running to call the others to see his little “prank”, of course she started to cry and call her mother after some minutes stuck inside the wardrobe… And then suddenly there she was hugging her mother leg for the surprise of herself and everyone in the room, little did she knew that things would change after that. Being spotted teleporting in front a bunch of muggles could be classified as big law violation, but luckily the late hours and the ingestion of alcoholic drink made it pass as just a imagination to mostly of the guests... And even those that was too stubborn (her grandmother and some uncles) to let it pass as just drunkenness or lack of sleep wasn't going to risk telling about it to random people and end called crazy, but Cheryl's mother in the other end still should give some answers to them.

After this day things got strange with her family, weird visits, discussions, arguments… Her mother tried to keep things calm, but Cheryl couldn’t stop herself from hearing some of these arguments, where some of her family members referred to her as “little witch” or the bullying she started to suffer from some of her cousins. At the same week her mother, that looks like still have some contact with her father, sent a letter explaining what happened and that she needs him to take care of Cheryl while she tries to calm the nerves of her family and make excuses for what happened. The arrangements were made and at the end of the month Cheryl went to live with her father.

Cheryl always knew she had a father named Edmund and that he lived in England, after all her surname was “Blake” and it must come from somewhere since it not corresponds with anyone in her family, her mother didn’t talk much about her father so that was all she knew. Move to England was a shock especially given the circumstances of the trip, the anxiety of knowing her father for the first time helped to diminish a little the fear of being in an unknown place, well… until she find out he was married and had two sons. The first month living in the England was the worst, basically because the communication was almost impossible, her father hired a private teacher to help Cheryl learn English as soon as possible, this way she was able to understand the motive her stepmother Miranda was always angry with her or why her grandfather Edgar was arguing with her father saying how disappointed he was to find out his son get involved with a “muggle” and worse than that he brought it to live with them… "Muggle" a word she would get used to hearing whenever there was an argument involving her mother, another one was "half-blood" term used more as insult than a simple fact when talking about her. Over the years Cheryl could saw that her presence was a inconvenient to her “new” family, with the exception of her younger half-brother Victor that was too young to understand what was happening and her father that still show up some kind of worry with her well being "And he’s just worried about his father’s opinion so he doesn’t get close to me and not because I’m a disappointment or something…" And there is Garbles the grumpy domestic elf that do not seems to mind her presence at all.

Actually she lives in England in the city of Exeter with her father, step-mother and two half-brothers. In the period she spent here, she didn't leave home much or attend any school, her grandfather recommended that she receive her studies at home, thus avoiding "unnecessary embarrassment", Cheryl didn't care about it, because if other people were like him she would love to avoid meeting them, but that wouldn't help her to be any less reclusive, especially after what happened in Brazil.

Her admission letter arrived one day and was received with disgust by her stepmother, disturbance by her grandfather and relieve by her father for some reason, still Cheryl didn’t knew what to think about it… She knew the letter would arrive, her father always was telling her that it would come sooner or later, that way she wasn’t very surprised, actually she was wondering what would happen when she got there, of course she is more used to all the magic, things moving on their own, things vanishing and appearing from nowhere and weird creatures like Garbles than she was in the first time she put her feet in this home… but still she don’t know basically anything about this world she is getting in, but she will do her best and make her parents proud of her.
