6 January marks the Feast of Epiphany, or also known as Three Kings Day. Because in UK (and many other countries) it principally commemorates the visit of the three Magi, students are invited to decorate gift boxes, or if they prefer they may make their own; Nigel has prepared cartons, wooden boxes, paint, origami papers, buttons, bottle caps, glue, scissors, and many other supplies the pupils might need. They are encouraged to make or decorate three boxes each, but if they feel the number is too high, one box per student would be enough. Students are also given Twelfth Cake and Epiphany Tart, English traditional dishes of the festival, as well as fresh milk, so they can eat and drink after or while working on their gift boxes and chatting with their peer and/or the Astronomy teacher. Nigel will be supervising the whole activity to ensure everyone has a smooth and happy time.
