What’s that? It’s the holiday season? No, couldn’t be. I would have been warned by the secret cult of the shrubs…But since you might be right, ole Eliseo needs some desperate aid. Few revel at the chance to be admired more than fairies and the holidays give a wondrous opportunity for the small creatures to show their illustriousness. It just so happens that Eliseo does not have the time to provide Hogwarts’ resident fairies the attention they deserve. This is not at all because he did not adequately prepare…The poor fairies have been neglected in the frigid Grounds. But Eliseo would like to ensure that all creatures of Hogwarts can enjoy the holidays, even if it means being an admired decoration.

While the Groundskeeper cabin could surely use a bit of decoration, he believes the castle might be better suited to display their splendor. To aid your benevolent Groundskeeper and his fairy friends, the volunteer students can, temporarily, take a couple of fairies from the cabin to the castle to be properly displayed.

The task is relatively simple. You ever creative students can set up small festive displays or decorations around the castle that will prominently display the lovely fairies. Each student will be granted two fairies by Eliseo to look after. Kindness, respect, and merriment are required, so that all of the fairies can enjoy their brief time being admired. Any festive supplies you need to set up your fairy display will be provided by the grateful Eliseo. The primary goal is to give the poor neglected fairies a chance to be admired and enjoyed by all!

To participate, you will simply need to create a thread and post at least 800 words of creating your fairy display somewhere in the castle. Feel free to continue posting after those 800 words! The IC date will be December 22nd.

Once you have created a thread, please reply to this thread with a link to your posts and word count!

The deadline for these 800 words is by the 5th of January. You can of course continue to roleplay past that limit and date should you want to continue to spend ample time with the fairies. So spread holiday cheer my shrubs and meatbags!

Locations you can start your thread: Small Hall, Great Hall, Library, Corridors, Study Room

Prerequisite: A willingness to do the bidding of fairies as they are your temporary overlords.
Word Count Requirement: 800 per student
Group Type: Solo or Small Groups (up to 4 per thread)
Reward: 2 House Points, 4 Sickles
