November 23rd is ‘Celebrate Your Unique Talent’ day, and the spy trio Professor Orion Lécuyer, Professor Mardi @Tuesday Jeremiah Irons. and Professor @Halford Booth (though rather reluctantly) want to take this special opportunity to get to know their students better. They also want to use this as an opportunity for students to mingle among different years and perhaps speak to someone they have not spoken to before.

Students will use the sign-up form provided below to state what special talent they would like to show off. We will then place them into groups of three to five people (we will roll to ensure it is random). They will have the chance to show their peers what their talent is and try to teach their group members the basics of their talent. Since you are signing up beforehand, you do not need to worry about any materials you might need, although you can bring your own supplies (such as an instrument or knitting needles).

The ‘out of character’ purpose of this errand is to help the members of our community interact with people they might not normally interact with and to have our new users hopefully mingle with senior members of our community. If there is a member of the community you are not comfortable interacting with (OUT OF CHARACTER, not in character) please OWL me (Orion), so I can ensure we do not place you in a group with them. No explanation needed and it will be confidential.

With that being said, please keep in mind the rules of the site when interacting with others during this errand. PG-13 ratings still apply. Halford, Tuesday, and I reserve the right to refuse talents if we feel they break the rules or need supplies that seem over the top. If your talent is rejected, we will send you an OWL before the sign-up due date so you have the chance to edit it.

INFORMATION

WORD COUNT: 800 words per student. This can be split into several posts or written all at once.
GROUP TYPE: 3-5 students, the groups will be random and rolled for. Please note: if there is a member of the community you do not wish to be grouped with, you can send me an OWL and request that you not be placed in the same group as them. No explanation is needed, but I suggest not doing this simply because you don't like them IC, as having a rivalry in character can make for quite an entertaining thread.
PREREQUISITE: You must post on this form to sign up before November the 23rd, this is the date we will be rolling for groups. After groups have been decided, either Professor Irons or I will create a thread and tag you in it.
REWARD: 2 House Points and 4 Sickles.
