Luella Osgood Deighton, First Year
The Deighton family has a long history in academia, and such a weight can often be a burden to those who must carry it. Such is the burden of Luella Deighton, only daughter of Chester and Evelyn Deighton. A brilliant and gifted student to her teachers and peers alike, such was still never enough for her quite strict parents.
Luella is usually a decently outgoing person, although her large vocabulary and strange way of speaking tend to throw people off. Her parents have instilled a certain love for learning inside of her, and to an extent she can at times be somewhat of an insufferable know-it-all, often without even realizing it. Being born to muggles, Luella is almost completely blind going into her first year, which frustrates her to no end. Kind and soft spoken, she is usually afraid of coming off as rude. Despite this, she also has a bit of a short temper, and can easily be brought to anger. Having spent so much time isolation amongst only her books, Luella is rather easily influenced, having, at the moment, no strong beliefs. From what little she has been able to read since being brought from her family, Luella is particularly interested in illusions, charms and the like - but has also expressed something of an interest in the beasts and animals of the wizarding world.
Upon arrival, Luella has dedicated almost all of her time towards learning. Most of her free time is spent at the library, or staying after class. She absolutely despises most of Slytherin, and thus spends as little time around them as possible. Due to a lack of connections within the school, she's a bit shy, though the opposite is true once one gets to know her.
Luella is of average height to her peers, at just around four-foot six (137cm). Her hair is black, and extends ridiculously far down her back. As with most of her family, Luella's skin is quite pale.
This will be replaced if an actual system for learning spells is out in place.

• Legilimens | A spell that lets the caster see into the mind of another person. This is also the term for a witch or wizard with this ability.
• Confundo | A charm that causes confusion in a person or a sentient object.
• Obliviate | A spell that can erase the memory of someone, partially or completely.
• Animagus Form | An incredibly difficult-to-master skill that allows the user to take the form of an animal.
