Fowls Run Afoul!  Errand
September 12th: Roughly around noon
What in the hell were you thinkin’?!” Was all that could be heard from the transfiguration classroom, aside from the occasional herd of pitter-patter of webbed feet and obnoxious honking fleeing from the crime scene through the corridors. “Well, maybe things didn’t go as expected, Jack,” Percival grunted, his head turning back to him calmly. Below him, a group of geese wandered, nonchalantly minding their own business as some began to walk outside the classroom “One numpty has decided to leave this trainwreck, and it appears things have gotten worse.

Who’re ya callin’ a damn numpty, ya’ gobshite.” The taller Hufflepuff walked directly up to the Slytherin. Nose to nose, the boy stood, “You are jus’ as guilty as me!” Jack’s Irish accent was completely unmarred as his anger rose in his throat. The boy continued to gesticulate wildly with his cherry wood wand. The said wand that had been used, for about the past hour, to create an entire flock of geese from the transfiguration room’s furniture.

Jack, please take a step back before your breath knocks me out cold.” Gray warned, his face expressionless and uninterested with the boy’s intimidation tactics “Agus tú air, foghlaim conas geasa a chaitheamh i gceart. Eejit…” (While you're at it, learn how to cast a spell properly. Eejit…)

Jack’s anger subsided for a moment before the kid cocked his head to the side. He knew Gaelic when he heard it, but did he understand a lick of it? Not one bit. The only thing he could understand was Eejit. Anybody with a brain could figure out what that one meant. Plus the jab about his breath was a lil’ bit hurtful, he couldn’t lie. With a shove, the boy stuck his nose up in the air and crossed his arms. Still, as the conversation continued more of the geese continued to flee from the room in flocks. The sounds of slapping webbed feet on stone and the flapping of wings quickly vanished like a specter in the night. If only the two boys were aware of their surroundings. “Eejit!? You’re an id-” The boy stopped dead in his tracks as he finally caught wind of the sudden silence in the room. Why was there a distinct lack of honking and hissing? It was an ominous silence. It was the silence that came before an extremely harsh punishment for mucking about in the transfiguration classroom. “Gray...Where the hell did the birds go?” The kid looked around the now barren class, and sighed loudly “YOU LET THEM ALL GET OUT!” With that thought, Jack ran to the open door of the Transfig room.

Percival stumbled back from his brisk shove and grinned, almost as if he found the action to be a joke to him “Don’t be such an immature brat, Jack…” Gray grumbled as he also noticed the chilling silence in the room. He slowly looked around and didn’t see a single white goose plodding around, while they were talking all of them must of walked out the door and into the corridors outside “Don’t ask me, i’m just as confused as you are” the prefect replied, a hand slowly going down his face in annoyance “Oh please, if you weren't being so edgy maybe the both of us could of caught them in time!” he said after him before standing next to the entrance and staring down the corridor with a loud sigh “We’re going to need help with this…
