PERSONALITY

Samantha is quiet whenever she's in a new environment or she's a part of a crowd she is not familiar with. She rarely interacts with others; usually she waits for people to come and talk to her. Once you get to have a few conversations with her, you would notice that she isn't shy nor timid; she's actually pretty sociable. When she gets comfortable hanging around with you (after a few months or few weeks), she would slowly show who she really is. She's really outgoing, and at times, she could be loud. She isn't afraid to try anything new, but sometimes she gets too much of a daredevil that gets her into trouble or even harm. She's also pretty competitive just as long as she feels like she's in a competition that she knows she has a fighting edge. Overall, she's a really good friend, and if you want someone to hang out with or just talk to, Samantha's one of the people to look for first.

BACKGROUND STORY

Samantha Foster was born to American parents, Tom and Hazel. The three of them moved to London when Samantha was a year old, as per the request of Hazel's father who was living there. The old man wanted the couple to help him maintain his home as he was too old to do so on his own. Since they lived there for quite some time, Tom and Hazel decided that Samantha should get her education in London instead of moving back to the States and study there.

Prior to Samantha's education in school, Tom and Hazel taught their daughter basic skills such as reading and writing. They also did the best they could to teach Samantha some good values. Overall, they treated their child nicely.

Once Samantha got her basic education, she received good grades. A lot of people were so amazed on how intelligent she is. Despite that, she was the unpopular kid when she got to school. She was often ignored by the other students, which should be fine by Samantha since she never knew what being famous was like anyway. What made it unbearable was the time when kids start to do mean things to her. She didn't understand why would anyone do this to her. If she wasn't being nice to people, she would just stay quiet in a peaceful spot where she couldn't be disturbed. Nonetheless, she continued her studies and kept getting good grades.

On the day after her 11th birthday, a man knocked on the door to Samantha's house, claiming that he is a professor from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He told Tom and Hazel that their child has magical blood in her. He also told them the instances when Samantha accidentally used magic, such as when she saw a group of bullies down on the floor after she shouted, when clearly she kept her hands to herself the entire time. At first, Tom and Hazel thought this was an attempt to kidnap Samantha, but after providing a few more proofs, the wizard convinced the couple that their child was indeed magical.
