Reason why I re-apply: Parts of ancestry/backstory rewritten with a few slight changes. Changes:

• Aurolia and Cedric Fox, Lucia's paternal grandparents, are alive and well, though they do not speak to Lucia, her sisters, or her mother. This is mainly for clarification, as they weren't mentioned in Lucia's original backstory.
• Clarification added as to why the species of Lucia's maternal grandmother (Veela) is not known publicly - Lucia's mother quickly realised once she got to Hogwarts that she would not be accepted into the society she wanted to be a part of if they realised she was a half-breed, so she kept it a secret.
• Lucia's father had a job in the Ministry of Magic as an Obliviator (wasn't sure whether this would require re-application but thought I would add it in here just in case).

THE PARENTS:
Ember Rose Victoria grew up in a very relaxed household in the small tourist town of Telluride, Colorado with her parents. She grew up as a younger sibling and soon learned the power of respect and, subsequently, persuasion, which were both traits her daughter would learn early on. Ember made her way through her life with a passion for giving--whether it be material items or services.

By the time Ember reached the age of 22, she moved away from the United States and off to explore. For the next year she traveled the world, bringing only with her necessities and a love of culture. Ember settled down in a small town in the outskirts of London as the year concluded and started a small housekeeping business named Ember's Housekeeping and Cleaners.

Robert grew up in a tumultuous and toxic family. Despite his upbringing, he was the epitome of humbleness and kindness. Though, he was an expert at masking his emotions. After cutting off ties to his family, Robert found a passion in a handyman's job. Soon, that wasn't enough income to sustain himself and started the search for someone to partner with or an established business to join.

As her business grew larger, Ember recruited the help of a handyman named Robert. Two years went by and the duo grew closer and closer. Finally, on February 3rd, 2003, Robert proposed to her. Two months later, they got married in a small church procession. The business was renamed to The Walker Housekeepers.


THE CHILDREN:
Katrina Rose Walker was born to Ember Rose Victoria-Walker and Robert Thomas Walker on August 12, 2007. She was a quiet and observing young baby who was easily amused. She posed hardly any trouble to her parents and quickly adopted many of her parent's traits.

Two years, one month, and three days later-- September 15, 2009, a baby boy was born to the family, Liam Robert Walker. Unlike his sister, Liam was a handful to take care of and was constantly getting in trouble. He adopted a trait of mischievousness that would never really fade.

Liam and Katrina grew up more like best friends than siblings, and it was only until the end of elementary that they began to grow apart some. As the two children began to grow, their parents grew their protective sides. Ember was a loving and sometimes overprotective mother while Robert was understanding and a bit more lenient. They had their troubles, but overall, the family was idealistic and the epitome of a 'perfect' family.

Sadly, the rest of her family had never been a large part of Katrina's life. On her father's side, most of them had passed on a tragic sinking of a yacht before Katrina was born. The only family left was her Uncle Robert who was mean and would disappear for years on end. Her mother's family were all rude and none of them respected Katrina's mom's kind attitude.

As all of her extended family didn't talk to or care about Katrina, they were never a part of her life. In fact, one of her main memories of them was a Christmas Party that her parents had hosted when she was young. Katrina remembered them yelling that they "hated everything about her" and that "she was the rudest spoiled brat they had ever seen".

As Katrina went through elementary school, she tended to stick with a small group of friends whom she put her complete trust in. In her spare time, you could find Katrina reading in a quiet place or sketching in a sketchbook. Her closest friends in fifth grade were Willow Hillbine and Katlyn Stonemaker.


THE MANEFESTATION:
Katrina never really thought of herself as someone who stood out. She was a blend of both of her parents and overall fairly amicable. There was never really a moment that she thought she was any different than anyone else. That is, until one specific day.

Katrina was always protective of Liam, though she knew her boundaries enough to not go barging in every time something went wrong. One time, in muggle school, she was coming back from recess when she spotted a couple girls from Liam's grade cornering him. They began to tease and mock him for various things and Katrina stayed quiet, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, without her or her brother doing anything, the girls all began to cry and run away. Katrina didn't realize it was her that causing the odd occurrence though.

Another time, Katrina and Liam were walking back from school when Liam fell and scraped his knee on the sidewalk. Katrina, having the protective mother that she did, actually had a first aid kit in her backpack. She put a large Band-Aid on the scrape and helped Liam home, worried for her brother. That evening, her parents found out and went to redress the scrape, the wound was gone, leaving no trace it had ever been there. At that point, Katrina realized something was off, but she never said anything to her parents and let them believe that they must have mistaken the scape or overexaggerated it.


THE LETTER:
One rainy day after school, a mysterious letter was slipped under the front door of the Walker household. Oddly enough, the letter was addressed to Katrina. She brought the letter to the kitchen table with a big smile and stories of being accepted into a 'School of Magic'. Her parents were dubious, however Katrina hadn't been one to fantasize or make things up. Katrina began to do as much research on Hogwarts as she could, however, nothing ever came up.

When the time came to take Katrina to Diagon Alley as the letter instructed, her parents were confused and frightened. Katrina assured them she could do it by herself and took a look back just before entering the Leaky Cauldron to see her parents and brother giving her worried glances as they stood out in the rain. Katrina didn't know it then, but that memory would be one she would cling to for a long time.

A gracious wizard in the Leaky Cauldron gave her enough wizarding money to buy her belongings and briefly explained what to do before attending to his own magical business.


THE FIRE: (Year 1)
Katrina's first year was, simply put, the worst year of her life. Between deep homesickness, a lack of friends, and several extremely unfortunate events, she struggled more than many adults do in their entire lives. Though, through it all, Katrina discovered a passion for healing and an interest in dragons and devoted herself into learning as much as she could about the magical world.

There was a fire in the Walker residency March 16, 2019 at approximately 11pm. Although no one knows it, the start of the fire was simply a lit candle. The candle was downstairs, close to a few carboard boxes. When Liam literally jumped into his bed, the resulting shake rattled the candle enough to tip it over the edge of the table and into the boxes. The fire spread fast, speeding through the opened door to the garage. It wasn't long before the fire had overwhelmed the first story.

The fire alarm downstairs was faulty and the alarms didn't go off until the smoke was upstairs. Liam grabbed a stuffed animal and raced down the hallway to escape and exited through the back door. The parents exited out the balcony of their room towards outside and the emergency exit ladder before realizing that Liam hadn't come out where they could see. They raced back in to look for him when the house collapsed in.

The fire department was called by a neighbor about the time that Liam escaped his burning home. However, the fire trucks only came when Liam's parents had already been trapped in the burning home. The efforts of the brave firemen were in vain as the parents had perished. Liam had made it out alive. But now he had nowhere to go.

The story of the fire was quick to spread and there was even a story about it in the newspaper. Little did Liam know, there was someone coming for him from London. He was picked up by the social services for only a few hours before the person arrived.

Neil Spriggs had been a mentor to Katrina and Liam's father. While the kids were toddlers, Neil had been a grandfatherly figure. However, he had fallen ill and hadn't been able to make the trip as often as he would have liked. When Emma Spriggs read the newspaper and saw the article, she knew that it was long overdue that they take care of the kids again. For the next years Liam would stay with rich Spriggs family. He had no way to contact Katrina and also had no way to let her know everything that happened.

One day in late summer, Liam would find that Neil's owl had been delivering letters, even after Neil stopped visiting his old office. Neil was a wizard and Emma was a muggle. It had been Neil who sent the anonymous letter to Katrina back before they had taken in Liam. However, the owl never really visited the kitchen, so their letters to her were never sent.

Neil and Emma Spriggs were supposed to be the children's legal guardians. However, the letters they sent never reached Katrina. Since she had no where to go, Katrina got placed in a Foster Home during her breaks from school. She only stayed there a few times. Once, after her parent’s funeral. And for one day of winter break in her second year. Each day she spent with the Wilobins’ she hated. They were always too nice and always acted like nothing was wrong. Katrina vowed to herself that she would never go back there. She hated the fact that they tried so hard to be perfect parents and replace her old ones that she refused to even think about them. Katrina would rather lie and say she had no home at all than admit that she had a foster home.


THE RECOVERY: (Year 2)

After receiving the news of the fire, Katrina spent the end of her first year in a state of disbelief. Though as her second year rolled around, Katrina started her road to recovery. She fought with night terrors and deep homesickness. Though, through it all, she prevailed. Slowly, Katrina began breaking out of her shell and started to meet new people and create her support system.

Katrina attended the Masked Ball, unknowing of the troubles in wait. Through the extent of that night, everything changed. Katrina had her first real life opportunity to use the spells she'd learned in class and, although she didn't do perfectly, she relearned the power and importance of magic. She came to the aid of a peer who had been wounded and tried to help. Katrina rediscovered her passion for healing and helping others and found that in bad times, she rose to the occasion.

Katrina sent monthly letters, attempting to send them to the person who had notified her of her parent's passing. These letters, unbeknownst to Katrina, were the ones that Liam found the coming summer. Through these letters, Katrina began coping with the reality of the unfortunate night and came to grips with reality for the first time in nearly a year.

Katrina also attended the student organized Blossomball that spring. She made it out with two mosp stinger scars and some PTSD which she struggled with the rest of the year (and the next). Through that night, she reaffirmed her love of healing and started doubting the safety of the school.

As the year came to a close, Katrina spent the summer bouncing around between friend's homes avoiding her foster parents. It was a changing time. By the time Katrina returned to school, she was prepared to face the year.


THE SEEKING: (Year 3)

During the Sorting Ceremony, Katrina's world flipped upside down once more. Liam Walker was alive. Katrina had a very teary and disbelieving reuniting with her brother. She found out more of the truth about the fire and her guardians and where the letters had gone. With that answering of those questions, Katrina's need for answers began.

The night of Halloween, disaster struck once more. Katrina was kidnapped…

1989

Luke Alluring was a third year slytherin at Hogwarts with all O's and well on his way to become both prefect and headboy. Luke attended the school with his younger sister who was also a slytherin while their elder brother attended Dumstrang however all three of them would belong to the Alluring family.

The Alluring family has been well known in the wizarding world and is consider one of the wealthiest families both in the muggle and wizarding with connections in the ministry and a high reputation the Alluring's take pride in their blood status so the head is responsible with concealing away any blood that might be tainted.

Luke started his third year with doubts on his family which is when he met Ivy Knight a third year ravenclaw who was co captain of the quidditch team and had a fiery personality, always up for a adventure or risk even being from the house of Knight.

The Knight family has little to none information known about them, they live and dwell in secret among the wizarding world as a pureblood family obsessive with power and the dark arts willing to whatever it takes to get it. The Knights are known to be quite ruthless and quite a few have been sent to azkaban for misusing magic or using it on a muggle. The Knights were one of the family's that had members who supported Voldemort during the battle and now seem to have dispersed from society with most forgetting about them but their still out there looking for the power that they seek.

Ivy Knight never liked her family and often rebelled against them, still the girl was quite popular at Hogwarts when she met Luke Alluring becoming best friends with him in her third year.

1993

Luke Alluring was slytherin prefect and now in his seventh year a headboy on top of taking newt level classes with high expectations ahead of him, he was always more ambitious for his age. However he was disowned from his family at the age of 15 because he believed that muggles and muggleborns were equal to them. So Luke went against his family's views and lost all his rights to any wealth or standings in his family.

Which didn't bother Luke Alluring since he would move into a small apartment with Ivy Knight, the girl who was first his best friend but now girlfriend.

Ivy Knight was the captain and star chaser of the ravenclaw quidditch team, her free spirit and bravery only grew as well as her love for Luke Alluring. Ivy was disowned at the age of 16 for turning against her family's views losing both her standing and siblings... only having a single sun rusted pendant to remind her of her family.

No matter the two seem to always have their spirits lifted when together. They were a perfect match but also can be deadly foes, that fought on Hogwarts side during the second waiting war also known as the battle of Hogwarts.

1994 ~ 2001

Ivy Knight and Luke Alluring married the year after graduating from Hogwarts and decided to live and have a family in Godric Hollow together. Since both were disowned, they would raise their family in poor conditions almost the lower middle class but even with little money they wanted to live life to the fullest.

Ivy would peruse a career as a successful auror while Luke would go for a career in the department of magical creatures at the ministry of magic.

Since both were disowned at a young age, the couple would raise their children in a low income household that would still find ways to smile on most days and try their best to teach their children not to have prejudiced against anyone and see everyone as a equal.

2002

On August 10th, 2002 their first and eldest child Arthur Knight was born in the village of godric hollow. The two agreed not to change their surname and also to give each of their children Ivy's surname.

2003 ~ 2007

For 8 years the family of three lived a peaceful life, with Ivy's successful career as a auror and Luke staying at home to look after Arthur everything seem perfect. Arthur would grow looking up to both of his parents, gaining ambition and a hunger for knowledge from his father but also bravery and a free spirit from his mum however when he was only four, Arthur would ask his parents for a brother. Something that would come true.

2008

On April 13th, 2008 Henry Knight was born a twin to Annabeth Knight in the village of Godric Hollow. The two were born into two very distinct pureblood families; The Alluring's and the Knights. Which was the day that Arthur made a promise to Henry that he would always be there for him and he would never be alone.

2009 ~ 2014

As the three children grew, both Ivy and Luke started to work their full hours again which took up much of their time and usually Arthur would watch the twins but when he went off to Hogwarts there were days where the twins were left at home but it wasn't more than one day at least.

However for a few years the family was happy, money wasn't a struggle and they still found times to be together and have fun. Their favorite actively was stargazing under the stars, it was something that each member enjoyed doing and they did it as a family.

2014

However everything changed one day during a school break when Arthur was back from Hogwarts. It was a night of a full moon and the family decided to take a trip to the hill by their house and stat gaze for a bit as a family. That's when the family of five was attack by a duo of werewolves, the parents held them off but they were clearly no match still it was enough time for the three children to escape.

Arthur would lead his siblings anyway from the hill but they would stop at the sight of one of the werewolves attacking their mother. Ivy Knight would sadly die from the attack at a instance however with Luke fighting off the other werewolf. The first would turn his sights on the three children, jumping onto Henry first.

Luckily he would survive but at what cost. As a scar was left on his chest as a memory of that night and each full moon he would be forced to change into a werewolf.

Although not everything is what it seems. Unknown to Henry and his brother; Arthur but on the night that he was in St Mungos getting treated from the werewolf attack, Luke Alluring met with his father who told him to hand over Annabeth to the Knights since they wanted the girl for a while and then to rejoin the house of Alluring. Luke turned the man away but never forgot the offer always having it in the back of his mind as if to act on it later.

Even after his wife's death, Luke didn't change the surname of his children but left them as the same as his wife. Unknown to most, Luke remembered being told of Ivy's family and how at times they could but ruthless to get what the what so the man saw for his children safety he left their surname as Knight.

After effects of 2014

After the attack, Luke would spend more time at the Ministry and less at home as his hours with his children slowly diminished to nothing. Soon Henry was used to not seeing his father for weeks at his time having matured quite a lot for a young child and at the same time bonded quite closely with his older brother; Arthur .

For the most part Henry Knight grew up with a normal childhood. Besides from his full moon transformation in the basement of his house where at times he had to go through it without the wolfbane potion the rest was pretty normal in godric hollow.

Majority of his time was spent alone since the other children would bully or tease Henry, he always was the victim of bullying which is why he stopped going to muggle primarily school at the age of seven. Around the same time his father found a tutor for both him and his sister so they could take lessons at their home which included muggles studies such as english and mathematics, hogwarts theory studies, languages such as; french, italian, arabic, and russian. Also music as Henry learned and practiced violin, piano, and voice while his sister; Annabeth practiced guitar, flute, and voice.

2016

Most days were often spent alone reading or wirting to his older brother for the boy with little involvement with magic. However one day two months before the twins birthday when they would turn 8, Henry would find himself with his twin on top a hill by their house where a large oak tree stood. Henry was reading while his twin climbing the tree which is when four muggle boys appeared and as usual started bullying Henry. However that day wasn't like the rest since Annabeth tried to stop them only to be pushed down by the four which would anger Henry so much that he would use accidental magic for the first time and light the tree on fire. Henry would watch it burn with Annabeth as the four muggle boys ran away. Later that night, Henry would tell his father about it and instead of being happy his father would only tell Henry how irresponsible he was that day.

After that day Henry started to isolated himself in his house, spending more time reading and absorbing knowledge. Annabeth continued occasionally going to the muggle primarily school just to make friends while Henry lost them soon only having his older brother; Arthur who the boy say as his best friend and the two grew inseparable. For his 8th birthday, Arthur would gift Henry a muggle camera and a photo album which would spark his love of photos and from takimg pictures developed a love of animals and magical creatures soon always wanting to be around them. When he wasn't then the boy sometimes would pass the time making friendship bracelets even if he had no one to give them to.

2017 ~ 2018

Rarely seeing their father; Luke as he spent more times at the Ministry and away from home as if he was purposely staying away from them. Ths three started to raise themselves and change, as Henry and Arthur grew close and started to rely on each other. Annabeth grew a part from her family and choose to spend days by herself or with other children as she rebel on most days leaving Henry to mature and grow a sense of independence like his older brother; Arthur. Which is why Henry hides his emotions and feelings, never having anyone to discuss them with besides his older brother leaves them to be bottled up which is where is anxiety originated from.

2018

Henry and his siblings one morning awake to find their father telling them that they were leaving that morning, Henry had time to only pack and not even say goodbyes to anyone that he had met in Godric Hollow.

The family would move to a small town house Liverpool England where Henry would only feel like more of a outsider with less people to talk to.

2019

The day of Henry and Annabeth's eleventh birthday arrived. Their father was away on ministry business as usual and Arthur away at Hogwarts but he still sent them a present each and after he graduated Hogwarts Arthur would have a late birthday celebration with Henry.

However on the day, Henry would bake a small cake for himself and his sister and find that his older brother gifted him a new non digital muggle camera, his old charms book, and a new photo album while his twin received a quidditch poster and a golden stitch. That was when two owls could be seen in the distance heading toward the Knights house but only one made it to the windowsill, the letter it was carrying addressed to Henry Knight and when he opened it, the the boy would see his Hogwarts letter and instantly feel joy and happiness over finally being able to go to Hogwarts but also a sense of fear and worry that what if it isn't what he thought? What if he won't be able to find friends or his place? What if he will still be a outsider?

For the most part his family thought of Annabeth as a squib however there was a owl coming for her which wad carrying her letter to Hogwarts. The reason why she never got it was the Knight family intercepted it first and sent back a reply saying Annabeth won't be going leading everyone to believe she was a squib before including Henry Knight. Which only will led to tension and a wedge between him and his sister.

Reason why I re-apply: Minior details/changes that will be added once approved

Changes:

-The Knights are a forgotten family in the wizarding history, a pureblood family that lives in the shadows and has a single goal of seeking out more power for themselves. The family can be found back for centuries under different surnames although, mainly known for their experiments with magic and some in the dark arts leading most to time spent in azkaban which explains the other names that they go by; Dark Knights, Bad Knights, Tainted Knights, Silver Spirits, Knights to others. The Knights could always be found on the wrong side of wizarding history or as followers to other pureblood families. Multiple members went off the grid thriving in the shadows while others continued with experiments in different spells and the dark arts even in secret of course.

The Knights were mainly interested in power and how to obtain more of it, however even if their ambition was large that didn't mean they obtained a lot of power. The Knights may live and thrive in the shadows now but before going off the grid they were often followers or rather guards for other pureblood families.

The main source of wealth for the Knights is their business dealing and trading in magical creatures. However what few would know about the Knights was a few members offered up their services to other family for a range of deeds (bodyguards, acquiring artifacts or creatures, modifying family trees without murder or kidnapping were some examples of the jobs they could be hired for). However if they found the price wasn't fitting for them then they often took something from their clients that was of value, items include either money or a object that seemed to have a essence of wealth like a jewel or pendant.

The Knights aren't one family that goes back centuries like most pureblood's but instead their almost a mix of different families and branches. There is one strand that held the surname Knight in their tree but as for the others they left willingly from their own families and branches for one reason or another, one family that is known to have a branch leave for the Knights is the Humbleglow family. The Knights current youngest generation is actually the third cousin to the Humbleglow current youngest generation.

The Knights are often known to be followers or rather guards for others but they also are a family that has much ambition and a thirst for power. While some wants to change their future, others want to keep with their history(This will be what I add to my backstory once approved for the history of the Knights. @Aldor Humbleglow and I already discussed, written, and agreed to Aldor and Henry to be third cousins)

Their are four siblings who are a direct and the main link to the Knights. Dante, Ivy, Merida, and Edward Knights are the only members with direct ties to each branch of the family. Merdia was the third eldest of her siblings but acted like she was the eldest, she was cunning and ambitious and wanted nothing more than to prove to her family that she belong in the Knights. She often spent her days researching and practicing the dark arts, never resting in her pursuit for power except she gained a great interest in Annabeth Knight, the only daughter of her sister; Ivy Knight. She believed that the girl could fulfill the place her mother couldn't, that she could have the relationship she wanted with the girl that she couldn't have with her sister.

Edward 'Ed' Knight was the youngest of his family and far from ambitious or brave. He was a goof ball that loved books and also his sister; Ivy. He used to follow her around and always stand by her side when she rebelled against their parents, he always did admire her. However after she was disowned and the pressure of fulfilling his family name was to much to bare for him, Ed would manage to get himself disowned and run back to Ivy only then he will have a few happy years with his sister and her family. For when she would die that would break Ed's heart and he would go into hiding in a English town.
