Childhood has overall treated Harley well. Growing up he had many friends, most of whom were actually muggles. Before his enrollment at Hogwarts, Harley had been attending muggle schools up until his graduation from primary school. His dad, a muggle, had always insisted that Harley have a "normal" childhood at the very least until he inevitably received his Hogwarts acceptance letter. Not least because he's been a single parent ever since Harley's pureblood mother left when he was only two years old.

For her, the difficulties of adjusting to the muggle way of life were far too strenuous, notwithstanding the backlash she received from her parents and siblings, insisting that a muggle and their half-blood child had no place in the family. Indeed, not long after she moved back to her parent's home she cut off all contact with Harley and his dad.

Of course, Harley only has limited knowledge of the situation thanks to his dad doing the best he could to shelter him from such viewpoints. Nevertheless, he had thought it best that Harley knew the basics of his heritage and he always ensured that the boy had the best upbringing possible, even if that meant raising him on his own. It doesn't come as a surprise that Harley had little exposure to magic growing up. Though, he has always been aware that he's "different" from the other kids at his school.
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Harley's first instance of magic can be summed up as both amusing and unfortunate. It was another average school day not long after his seventh birthday. He had insisted on taking one of his new toy cars to school to show his friends. While not convinced it was a good idea, his dad reluctantly agreed. Only to realise after that he probably shouldn't have... All was well until one of Harley's teachers approached him during lunch and insisted on confiscating the toy, citing that "toys were not allowed on the premises". Unfortunately for Harley, she ultimately managed to do so.

As one can expect he didn't take it very well, though his friends did their best to try and cheer him up. It wasn't long until Harley was overtaken by a fit of laughter thanks to his friend's jokes and insults aimed at the teacher. No one could've anticipated that in Harley's ensuing amusement the teacher's shoes would inflate like a balloon, causing her to stumble and fall. Luckily for him, she accidentally dropped the toy car in the process giving Harley the opportunity to quickly retrieve it and make a dash for it.

Lenz was born into a family of wizards.

Her mother, Annabelle Leclair, works as a healer at St. Mungo's Hospital. It was the mother who spent the most time with Lenz when she was a child. Unlike her husband, who works almost all the time, Annabelle has more free time and always devotes it to her children. Even while doing household chores, she still managed to teach her children something. She is an incredibly kind, friendly and simply wonderful woman.

Father - Nathaniel Leclair works as an auror. Considering his work, he is a disciplined and serious person who spends almost all his time at work. But despite all this, he still remains a loving father and an incredibly kind person. When he comes home in the evening, he always spends time with his family. They often talk about everything in the world, tell what happened to them during the day and what news they heard. On the weekends, the father often plays Quidditch with Lenz, and they arrange all kinds of family trips.

Lenz is not the only child in the family, she also has an older brother - Kenneth Leclair. He is 19 years old and a professional Quidditch player. He graduated from Hogwarts two years ago, he studied in Gryffindor. Lenz loved her brother's stories about Hogwarts, so when she got her letter too, she was overjoyed. In addition to telling her a lot about school, Kenneth also taught Lenz how to fly a broom. It was thanks to brother Lenz that he started to like Quidditch.

Another member of their family is the black cat Marta. She was once brought home by Lenz. She found her in a nearby village where she was playing with her friends. It was a summer evening, Lenz, Lily and Hugo were playing in the square, when the girl heard someone meowing in the bushes. There was a small kitten. Lenz decided to take him home. Annabel agreed to keep the kitten at home and since then Marta has become a member of their family.

Lenz doesn't have many friends. Her best friend is Lily Bonnet, a girl from a family of pure-blood wizards who live not far from the Leclairs. She is a very energetic, sociable and kind girl. They have known each other since birth because their parents went to Hogwarts together and now they all live near each other.

Another friend of hers is a boy named Hugo Ortiz, he lives in a nearby village and comes from a muggle family. He is not a wizard and of course knows nothing about magic, so you have to be a little careful when communicating with him. But he is a very good friend and probably it was communication with him that prompted Lenz to study the muggle world. He taught her how to ride a bicycle, thanks to him there are still pictures hanging on the wall in Lenz's room, he taught the girl a lot and she is sincerely grateful to him for that.

The Leclair family is friendly to Muggles. They don't like the idea that wizards should only be pure-bloods.

As for education, her mother taught her many things. She taught her to read, write, spell and perform math, answered all the questions that interested little Lenz and often told her interesting and instructive stories.

Their family spends every evening together, each time inventing some new entertainment and it is always an incredible time, which Lenz simply adores.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Lenz's first instance of accidental minor wandless magic occurred when she was playing with Lily in the backyard. She was five years old. She and her friend decided to play hide and seek. Lenz climbed a tree and hid there by sitting on one of the branches. But the branch was not very thick and after a few minutes could not withstand the weight of the girl and broke. The first manifestation of magic saved her from broken limbs, because when Lenz fell, she just bounced off the ground. Thanks to this, she received only a few bruises.

Delilah’s parents, Lisa and Cal were not just ordinary individuals - they were extraordinary aurors, highly skilled and dedicated to their line of work in the ministry. Given the demanding nature of their profession, they often found themselves going on long business trips for the ministry. However, Delilah’s grandparents - Margarine and Damion Levine - were always there to provide a nurturing and loving home for her whenever she stayed there.

Margerine, Delilah's grandmother, possessed a deep passion for herbology. She had an extensive knowledge of plants and their magical properties, which she eagerly imparted to her granddaughter during their time together. Delilah would often find herself engrossed in the world of herbs, learning about their various uses, healing properties, and even their significance in potion-making. Margerine's enthusiasm for herbology ignited a spark within Delilah, fostering a lifelong love for the subject.

Margarine, Delilah’s grandmother, possessed a deep passion for herbology herself. She had an extensive knowledge of plants and their magical properties, and was very keen on teaching her granddaughter some during their time together. With the occasional pies and cupcakes, though, she soon found out that Delilah was a terrible baker, due to her short attention span, and found Delilah seemingly wandering off to watch the bugs or read books when she should be keeping watch on the oven.

Damion, on the other hand, had a unique expertise in the field of monsters and creatures himself. As a specialist in the study of magical creatures, he had an impressive collection of books, drawings, figurines, and surprisingly…….trolls, which Marge found amusing. During Delilah’s visits, Damion would tell her thrilling stories about different types of monsters that he encountered, their habitats, behaviors. This did not give Delilah a much headstart in her studies though, as he soon found out that she had what you might say, a short term memory, only remembering the stories and details she wanted to.

Delilah's first encounter with magic was when she was eight. During that time, in her town, there was a small gardening competition on gardening hosted. Being the little herb enthusiast she was, Delilah wanted to join desperately, growing her garden with the help of her grandmother. On one summer's day, though, she accidently rode her bike and fell into one of the rose bushes, trampling the plants and flowers. She went to sleep crying that night, only to find that somehow, the roses had magically grown back the next day. (She did not win the competion tho-)

Raven was born on September 7, in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is the only child of an ancient pure-blood family, the Barnes. Her parents, Arthur and Melissa, work for the Ministry of Magic in extremely important positions. Raven had a wealthy and excellent childhood. She lived in a big mansion, that has been passed over generations in her family. When it comes to education, she had plenty of extraordinary tutors. The best of Scotland. Who taught her everything and more she needed to know before she got into Hogwarts. All of her family had been sorted into Hufflepuff, so, while growing up she hoped to be sorted into that as well.

She had her first instance of magic very young. It happened when she was about six years old. While throwing a tantrum over not knowing where her favorite toy was. Raven was so angry, almost crying, in front of her parents, and without even realizing a glass vase, that was above the fireplace of her living room, started to float and suddenly broke. Her parents were shocked but also happy for their little girl because she showed them for the first time her doing magic.

Even though she did not frequent any type of school before Hogwarts, she made some friends. Four actually: Michael, Roberto, Trevor and Ethan. Which still maintained today. She considers them her brothers from another mother. Her second family. The story of their meeting is funny and short. They just sat on the same bench in a park near their houses and simply started talking like they had known each other for years. And well, the rest is history.

Raven did not change that much over the years. She continues to be a shy, smart and stubborn girl, who likes to put up a fight with anyone who messes with her or her friends. She is also accompanied by a book or her guitar. Most likely, to her garden in her house to get some peace.

Background/History: Emily is a quietly confident girl: she usually keeps to herself and her main friendship group, but she will not allow herself to be disrespected. She is always respectful to her Professors, friends, family, and peers and follows all rules at all times as she was taught to do so from a very young age. Her hobbies include playing Quidditch with her friends (her position is Seeker), reading anything and everything, studying and learning excessively and spending time with her friends (mainly Ivy, Madeline, and Sophia).
Emily grew up living in London in England. Her family consists of her Mother and Father, the only others living in her home are the House Elves. She has a group of four close friends (herself, Ivy, Madeline, and Sophia). Her parents are happily married and very wealthy. Emily grew up in a formal life, with scattered dinner parties and balls. She was taught from a young age to always look and present yourself in the best way possible, and to prioritize manners and formality: even in day-to-day interactions. Her parents saw it fitting to hire a private tutor for her, so she has been homeschooled since she turned five by a tutor named Chloe. Emily tends to wear the same outfits every day: black boots, white knee-length formal socks, black shoes and a white blouse for the day, black silk pajama's for night's, and a short black dress with small white heels for parties and other events.
Accidental Magic (First Instance): Emily's very first instance of Accidental Magic occurred when she was eight years old. She was enjoying some fresh air in the gardens of her home, when she realized that the neighbor's dog had broken loose from their yard and was wondering freely in the fields behind the houses. Thinking to do something kind for them, Emily wondered into the fields to collect the dog and return it to it's own home. However, once the dog caught sight of her, it began to chase her. Emily was so frightened that she jumped through the air supernaturally high and landed safely in her own yard.

Born on Friday the 13th, in Inverness, Gyda has experienced more adversities than an average person would like: Abandonned by her father, no contact with her paternal grandparents, an erractic mother, trust-issues and self-inflicted loneliness, to name a few. Gyda is the only child of Perrin and Laila (née Hegan) Delaney. Gyda's maternal grandparents originate from Norway, where her mother was born. However, they moved to Scotland and Laila studied at Hogwarts, where she met Perrin. Perrin came from Birmingham, and was a member of a pure-blooded family. The past of her paternal grandparents is quite muddy, and something her father rarely discussed. Gyda can only think that this is because of their involvement in the Wizarding Wars.
The past was something that haunted her father, although there isn't much she knows about him specifically. Perrin disappeared when Gyda was only five years old. After this Gyda and her mother moved in with her grandmother, Hilde, in Inverness. Gyda's grandfather had already passed away when she was a baby. Hilde and Laila homeschooled Gyda and Gyda had some friends in the wizarding community there. However, Gyda kept mostly to herself.
Gyda never heard from her father again, and her mother refused to talk about him. However, his sudden abandonment of Gyda did cause Gyda to be distrustful towards most people. Shortly before Gyda left for Hogwarts her paternal grandparents (Perrin's parents) tried to reach out to Gyda. However, Gyda felt no desire at the time to get to know them.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Being raised by wizards, it was never a surprise for Gyda once she started to show signs of magic. To be completely honest, it was a day that she somewhat dreaded, to leave the safety and comfort of her home and go to Hogwarts. However, the day came, and it happened during a slight tantrum that she had thrown. It was a stupid, minor thing, something about not wanting to go to Diagon Alley for shopping, but rather be left alone to read in her room. The frustration of her mother had come from the many rejections to do something together Gyda had given her recently. Being a pending adolescent, aged ten at the time, Gyda resorted to a tantrum, and it resulted in the glasware in her grandmothers cabinet to turn to sand. Antique glasware her grandmother had cared for her entire life, suddenly turned to dust, including the windows of the cabinet. While there was a sense of pride roaming around the room when it happened, Hilde could not help but shed a tear for her dear glasware.

Character Backstory:
Chloe was born in Salisbury, England, and grew up there. Her father, Will Norman, was a muggle who taught in a public school in the city. He was always level-headed, evening out her mother's temper. He had been shocked to hear that his girlfriend was a witch when Harriet Norman (then Harriet Bailey) first revealed the truth to him, but it had fascinated him more than anything. Harriet Norman was the opposite of Chloe's father, with a determination which seemed to show every time she simply walked, for if she wasn't searching furiously for her wand after she'd forgotten a bubbling pot on the button-less stove, it likely wasn't her at all.
Chloe enjoyed her time in the public schools, but preferred spending time at home, in the tire tied to a tree her mother bewitched to swing every time she sat down on it. She loved her studies more than anything, preferring to write or write than to socialise, which made her appear lonely to her worried parents, but she was never bothered by solitude. She found it better to write a friend or to read one than to make one.
When Chloe was very young, she owned a pet cat named Harris, who was her best friend until she was nine, and he went missing. This was the first real grief Chloe felt in her life, and she always longed for a cat after she had lost Harris.
First Instance of Magic:
The first time she'd used magic, she had been swinging in the front yard, on the old tire swing, and watching her mother water the wild, sometimes magical plants which always attracted the neighbour's stares. It was then that Chloe noticed the buzzing around her head, and flinched as a bee made its way towards her face. She'd always hated the sound of flying bugs, and now there was one right next to her ear. Swatting her hand with annoyance, she didn't even notice at first as the bee began to swell, as she leapt out of the tire swing and backed away, heading for the house. It was only when her mother shouted with surprise that she turned around, and saw the bee was now vaguely the size of a tomato. She stared with confusion and shock as her mother cast a look around the neighbourhood, making sure it was silent before she muttered something with a wave of her wand and the bee returned to its normal size, flying away. Chloe and her mother exchanged a glance, and then both began to smile, as Chloe raced into the house to tell her father what had happened.

OR...if a Seer
Stamina: 6|Evasion: 3|Strength: 1|Wisdom: 9|Arcane Power: 8| Accuracy: 3

Character Backstory:
Reducio
Isabelle Clark's heritage is deeply rooted in the tapestry of magical lineage, an illustrious line of Pure-Blood wizards that dates back centuries. The grand old Clark mansion, a testimony to their lineage and power, stands majestically amidst the heart of dense woods, a safe sanctuary from the prying eyes of Muggle settlements. Its ancient stone walls and tall turrets harbor countless stories of magical prowess and historic deeds.

Inside, young Isabelle roamed its vast corridors, her imagination ignited by tales of ancestors who once graced the same halls. Whispered legends of heroic duels, secret romances, and mystical enchantments wafted from every corner. The mansion's sprawling gardens became her haven, a playground where she'd often recreate the tales she'd heard, wand in hand, amidst the blooming magical flora.

While her parents held command over the Dark Arts, a secret veiled in shadows, they were fiercely protective of Isabelle's innocence. They envisioned a future for her untainted by the burdens of their own choices. Hence, their house remained an oasis where dark magic was taboo, replaced instead with love, care, and a focus on holistic growth.

To bridge the chasm between the magical and Muggle worlds, Isabelle's education was two-pronged. Alongside her lessons in magic and tradition, she was taught by a Muggle tutor. This unique blend of teaching aimed to cultivate her understanding of both realms. Through books and her tutor's vast reservoir of knowledge, Isabelle got glimpses of the Muggle world - its marvels, challenges, and innovations.

The Clarks' vision for Isabelle was clear: a well-rounded individual who, when the time came, could discern her destiny and make choices that resonated with her heart, unswayed by the shadows of her family's past
.

Seer Application:
Reducio
The Seer lineage within the Clark family is as ancient as it is mysterious. It began with Aeliana Clark, a prominent witch of her time, whose origins are traced back to an era where magic was regarded with awe and respect. It was whispered that Aeliana’s magic was not just limited to spells and potions, but she also possessed a rare and unique ability: the Sight. Aeliana's visions were known to be startlingly accurate, with prophecies that spoke of events many decades into the future. She was revered and sought after, not just for her magical abilities but also for her uncanny gift of foresight.

Despite Aeliana’s prominence, the trait didn’t seem to pass directly down her lineage. The recessive gene that granted the Sight lay dormant, skipping several generations before surfacing again. This unpredictability became a defining characteristic of the Clark family Seer lineage.

Decades turned into centuries, and the tales of the Seer from the Clark family became more of a legend than a lived reality. However, every now and then, when the stars aligned just right, a Clark was born with that rare gift. It was during these times that the family prospered the most, their destinies guided by the foresight of their Seer.

However, with great power came immense responsibility and inherent danger. Not every generation was kind to Seers. There were times when the Clark Seers had to hide their gifts, fearing persecution or exploitation. The world of magic had its dark corners, and a Seer's vision was a coveted prize for those with malevolent intentions.

The last known Seer in the Clark lineage was Seraphina Clark, born during a turbulent time for the magical community. Her early life was marked by a series of seemingly fortuitous events. Before she even realized her gift, Seraphina’s intuition saved her family from potential disasters on more than one occasion. By the age of 14, her true visions began. Her hair, once a deep shade of chestnut, began to show streaks of white by her 17th birthday, solidifying her identity as a fully developed Seer.

Seraphina's gift was a double-edged sword. On one hand, it provided the Clarks with insights and advantages that few families possessed. On the other, it also attracted unwanted attention. Rumors spread, and soon, Seraphina found herself being courted by various factions within the magical community, each hoping to harness her gift for their own ends. To protect her and the family, the Clarks decided to keep Seraphina's gift a secret, shrouding her abilities in mystery and intrigue.

After Seraphina, the Clark lineage seemed to enter a prolonged Seer-less phase. Generation after generation passed without any indication of the Sight. The tales of Aeliana and Seraphina became bedtime stories for young Clarks, tales of a bygone era.

The recessive nature of the Seer gene meant that while it might have been dormant, it wasn't gone. But with each passing generation, hopes of seeing another Seer in the Clark family dwindled. Some even speculated that perhaps the line had been diluted too much, with marriages outside of magical families, or maybe the magic itself had decided that the Clarks had seen enough.

In the quiet corridors of the Clark mansion, as a very young Isabelle ventured, she often found herself lost in moments that felt out of place. Long before her wand chose her and before her first unmistakable display of magical ability, Isabelle experienced fleeting visions. These weren’t the imaginative figments of a child’s mind but detailed glimpses into events yet to unfold.

While playing in the gardens, she would suddenly see a bird's nest falling from a tree days before it actually happened. At other times, she'd vividly experience raindrops on her skin under a clear sky, only to have it rain heavily the next day. These early visions were fragmentary, fleeting, and often bewildering. They blended seamlessly into her reality, making it hard for young Isabelle to discern them from the actual present.

It was after her first accidental use of magic—a significant event for any young witch or wizard—that she began piecing together the puzzle. That incident, a burst of magic fueled by emotion, made her introspective. As she pondered her burgeoning magical abilities, she realized that her earlier 'daydreams' were something far more potent.

Hesitant and unsure, she approached her parents with her experiences. They listened with growing realization and awe. Recognizing the signs, they understood that Isabelle had inherited the Clark family’s ancient Seer abilities.

The family's reaction was a blend of pride and caution. Being a Seer was both a gift and a responsibility. The Clarks decided to consult old family journals, seeking guidance on nurturing and controlling this ability. They also brought in a Seer tutor, discreetly, to help Isabelle navigate these early and confusing stages of her gift.

Under her tutor's guidance, Isabelle began to gain a deeper understanding of her visions. She learned meditation techniques to center herself and exercises to help differentiate between regular thoughts and genuine visions. However, it wasn’t always easy. Deciphering the symbolism in her visions and understanding their timing was a challenge. The weight of knowing things ahead of time, especially as a child, was sometimes overwhelming.

Isabelle’s life was marked by a duality: living in the present while often knowing the future. This duality, while giving her foresight, also brought moments of isolation. She became cautious about sharing her visions, adopting the habit of writing these things down in a notebook kept close to her at all times, fearing disbelief or misunderstandings. However, the continued support of her family helped Isabelle find the strength and balance she needed to embrace her unique gift.
