Appearance: Elias has beautiful milky skin with a pink undertone that compliments his blue eyes and to top it all off with a mop of strawberry blonde hair. His face is littered with freckles and he has a small dimple on one of his cheeks. Elias is quite small for his age and can often be found wearing overalls, jumpers and skirts.
Personality: Elias is timid, innocent, a bit oversensitive and kind but can be apathetic towards certain subjects. He comes from a well mannered upper class family so is sometimes a bit of a snob. Elias has a childish side to him and sometimes enjoys coloring in a peaceful spot. He also has a special interest in trains. He has some bad habits like chewing on his fingernails when he gets overwhelmed.
History: Elias Kilian Henerickx was born prematurely to an upper class loving mother and a stern father in Bruges, Belgium. I had a happy start to his childhood, his fondest memories of these times were helping his father build train models and attending high class events with his mother. Tragedy struck the family when Elias turned 6, it happened one night when the family was sitting on the couch watching Tv when Elias stiffened and started gagging at first his parents thought he was just actin childish "Stop that" His father scolded "That is not proper behavior". This gained no response from Elias, he continued staring blankly ahead. "Kiki please acknowledge your father" His mother said gently. Elias looked up at her confused and cuddled closer to his mother.
His parents looked at each other also confused but waved it off as 5 year old behavior. These little episodes continued over the next couple days with different unusual behaviors until his parents decided it was time to go see the doctor where he was diagnosed with epilepsy and the episodes he had been having were called complex focal seizures. His parents were shocked by this diagnosis but life had to continue his parents took the necessary precautions to be able to take care of Elias. Elias was removed from grade school and was then home schooled. The Hendrickx even hired a nurse to look after him while he was still young and to teach him how to take care of himself when he got a bit older.
Elias love for building model trains with his father never changed and his father would often spend the time with him when he wasn't working. His mother didn't take him to events anymore for the fear she would be embarrassed if he had a seizure in public. Life changed when Mrs. Hendrickx got pregnant with a baby girl after Elias turned 9. His parents seemed distant from that point on and Elias was often left to play with his toys under the watchful eye of the nurse. When sister was born it was big affair, the Hendrickx's threw tons of parties for her in celebration of her birth. Elias felt even more like an outcast in the family after all that and had frequent emotional outburst after that. He didn't understand why his parents didn't want anything to do with it anymore.
One day during one of his breaks from home schooling his parents came in with a big box. "Kiki darling, we have a present for you" his mother chirped as his father set the box down in front of him. "P..present?" he asked having trouble getting the word out of his mouth. He crawled over to the box and tried shaking before roughly pulling at the box lid. "Oh careful bubba" His father said taking his hands off of the box and opening the box himself. "Look" His father said gently pulling Elias onto his lap. Elias peered curiously into the box and squealed happily "It's a puppyyy!" he said trying to grab it. His mother took it out of the box and handed it to him "He's for your seizures, he will be able to alert us if anything happens" his mother smiled. "I will n-name you p-pickles" he said happily holding the puppy to his chest.
Sobs could be heard from the nursery down the hall "Ah that must be the baby" his mother said getting up as his father moved him off his lap to follow her. "NO" Elias screamed "Don't leave me, I sorry" he said rushing after his parents and latching onto his father's suit coat. "What is with all these outbursts. "Why don't you wanna spend time with me anymore, you always rush off for the b-baby." he cried. His parents looked at each other and realized they hadn't spent a ton of time with him since they had found out they were pregnant. "Oh love" his father bent down to kiss his head. "Why don't I go get the baby and you spend some time with him" his mother said. Elias smiled up at his father with hopeful eyes "How about we play with some trains" his father smiled.
Elias's first instance of magic happened when he and his father were building trains. They had just finished a model and had put it on a track Elias had clapped his hands and the train started to move around the track. He and his father were bot startled by this until they received a letter from Beauxbaton.
It's good to stir up a little trouble in the family!
