Appearance: Iris has long light brown hair that reaches farther then her waist. She has grey-green eyes. She's typically wearing simple outfits and likes to keep her hair open, the front of her hair is shorter then the back, which keeps her hair out of the way when shes working on somthing. She wears simple outfits that usually base on her own comfort rather then style.

Personality: Shes a quiet girl who usually keeps to herself. Shes okay with being around others, but dosnt talk much with people she dosn't know very well, but opens up to be a sweet and thoughtful girl when you come to be a good friend of hers. She sometimes gets nervous over little things and perfers to not be haveing adventures that may be dangerous. Shes also dreamy and loves to express herself through any form of art, music, drawing or painting and calm activities such as reading.

History: Iris was born to Jullian and Marayah Dawson. When Iris was about two, her brother Anthoney was born. Taking all there parent afection and time. The older Iris became, the less time her parents had for her and her brother. They were always busy with there jobs, Iris felt alone sometines, her and her brother didn't get along very well, and Iris didn't have friends. Anthoney had several friends, not all were a good influence, he lost a lot of the respect he had for his older sister and became rude and stuck-up towards her. Iris never wanted to pick a fight, so she always let it go when he picked on her. Her father would leave early for work and come back late, so they never had time together. Iris used the arts as a get away from all that was going on, she learned a lot about muggles from the books she spent her days reading, she found there contraptions and inventions intresting, she found out about there instruments, what they used to create music, she thought she would give it shot. At age of seven, she found a violin at a muggle thrift store, she scounged up some muggle money and saved up for the violin. She self-taught herself to play, and loved to play. She continued to try new activites from muggles, painting, and drawing. One day, her father was on his way to work, he flew on his broom, since the family didn'y use floo powder, he was caught in a dreadful storm, he persisted through it, but just when the storm was at its whorst, him and another flyer colided through the foggy weather. The other flyer was able to right himself back on his broom, but Jullian had not survived the horrible broom accident. When Maryah heard about her husbands death, she shut herself of from her children and mourned. Iris and Anthoney were devestaded, they had not known there father well, but living seven years with him was enough for Iris to feel more alone then she'd ever felt. She gave up the violin for some time, and foucused on staying out of her depressed family way. After a year or so, Marayah came out of her shell and began to care for her children more. A month after Iris's birthday, Anthoney and his friends were playing outside around near where Iris was reading, one of Anthoneys friends suddenly grabbed the broomstick that was by there shed and mounted it. Iris looked up and told them that they weren't alound to be useing it. Anthoney just went along with whatever his friends were doing, so didn't agree with her and tell them they shouldn't play around with the broom. The friend ignored her and attempted to fly up in the air. She stood up and tried to grab for the broom, but he just cackled and flew out of her reach. The book that was still in her hand, flew out and smacked him on the head. He was suprised, but kept holding onto the broom firmly. Next, the very broom he was siting on flew of from under him and he plumeted on atop there shed and broom flew straight into her empty hand. After the years went on, she braught back her hobby of violin and drawing but her and Anthoney still don't get along very well.
