BEFORE HOGWARTS: Maya loved plants. In fact, her whole family did. Up untill she was 9 years old, Maya lived in a small cottage with a huge garden behind it. When she was 9 she figured out she was a witch. Since her parents were muggles, they didn't want Maya as their child. So, the sen her off to live with her aunt (Elizabeth Kingston: Ravenclaw). Maya's aunt had been very kind to her, she told Maya all there was to know about wizards and witches. Maya was awed by how much her aunt knew about plants. Maya had grown up watching The Wizards Of Waverly Place. Hogwarts was much different from that! This was sure to be a great year.
