Among the hundreds of items available for sale on the site, some give additional features.
These special items and what they provide are listed below. Items that are not listed here do not provide additional features, but are perfect for collecting, offering, or being used in your RPGs!
Remembrall
Indispensable to allow you to be notified when quoted, a homeworkd is corrected, a response has been made to a subject you follow... As soon as purchased, an icon will appear at the top right.
Chocolate Frogs
More than just a treat, Chocolate Frogs allow you to collect famous witches and wizards cards! Once purchased, you can go to "Chocolate Frog Cards" in the menu at the top right to open them!
Fake permission form
It will allow you access to Hogsmeade even if you are not yet in third year. The relevant forums will unlock as soon as the parchment purchased.
Marauder’s Map
A replica of a map made several decades ago by brilliant Hogwarts students, this creation of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes allows you to scrutinize the movements and actions of all the wizards present in the school. Once purchased, the map is accessible in the menu at the top right. Note: This is a purely OOC item granting an OOC site feature. It lets you see what all the online members of HiO are up to and in what forum.
Map of the undergrounds of Hogwarts
This map is like a blueprint of the Hogwarts castle. Purchasing this grants your character a map that can help them navigate the school. Note: It does not detail secret passages or areas that your character does not naturally have access to.
Sneakoscope
Allows you to know, at any moment, which user is currently online, using a small green circle next to his name.
Bus Pass
This object grants your character access to places such as Godric's Hollow and Grimmauld Place.
This object grants your character access to the Forbidden Forest.
Trench Coat of Sneak
This object grants your character access to Knockturn Alley and its stores. This coat ONLY works on users who are in their fifth, sixth, or seventh year.
