Background
Anthonia was born in Manchester, England but moved to Russia with her family when she was only 1 year of age.
She lived alongside her parents, her grandmother, her aunt and her husband and three children. Anthonia's cousins were also magical children. They grew up in a home where magic was practised and used daily.
When Anthonia started showing signs of having magical properties there was a lot of discussion around how her magical education was to be carried out. Her grandmother insisted on homeschooling, her mother and aunt wanted her to attend the Russian wizarding school, Koldovstoretz, and her father fought for her to attend Hogwarts. Much to her Russian relative's and Anthonia's dismay, Zoya eventually agreed for Anthonia to attend Hogwarts.
At 10 years old Anthonia moved back to England, a country she had not stepped foot in since she was 3. Her father had taught her English whilst growing up. Whilst Anthonia is pretty much fluent, she still has some trouble speaking it.
