The Early Days

Logan Thomas' history begins in Newcastle, England. Sights and sounds of the pitch populated early memories. The black and white sphere, also known as a soccer ball, was introduced at an early age and once the boy identified verbiage roughly along the lines of "soccer" and "field", they were the only two words uttered for several years.

Stemming from his father's passion and placement of his son during his scouting sessions and indoor futbol recreational leagues, all the boy would know was this sport until early education began. As a professional development scout for Newcastle United, it would be ingrained in his life as long as he remained committed.

His mother spent her time running a local farmer's market that specialized in apples, rhubarb, and strawberries. Additionally she was active in the community as a member of the parent-teacher association for Logan and Jane's school district. Finding purpose in fighting for what she and Jay believed to be in their children's best interest regarding education.

His sister, Jane, was a strong athlete much like Thomas. Excelling in volleyball in track, the former being her primary sport, landing her a scholarship at one of England's finer athletic programs, the University of East London.

Logan shared her athletic talent, but another secret lingered behind. Unbeknownst to him and his family, within the boy's capacity was an inclination of remarkable talent. The link unknown, his bloodline containing no magical roots. It began as so...

"His first discovery of magic was during a futbol game in a friendly tournament. The clock was ticking on Lowe’s team, down 1-0 with 1 minute remaining. He received the ball at midfield and knew the time was now or never. After a few dribbles he hammered the ball with his dominant left foot, falling to the ground in the process. His eyes traveled up to see the ball’s arc was headed right for the goalie’s fingertips. With a huff, he slammed his fist on the ground with an intense glare towards the ball. Defying physics, the ball curved around the goalie and into the net. A confounding gasp emerged from the audience(mostly parents), before a roar from his teammates and family arrived. Tying the game and ending it in a draw.

The consensus after the game was the ball must have deflected off a player, but Lowe knew that something wasn’t right. After that game, he tried to recreate the spin on the ball as he did in that game, and it never happened. A mystery that would end when his letter from Hogwarts arrived."

That's where we'll pick up this story, the beginning.
