History/Background Story:

Born in New York City, Extressia spent her day with her single mother at a small apartment. She had relatives, and they would all come to the already bit cramped apartment once in a while. for special occasion Her mother and Extressia shared a deep loving bond, as they spent the most time together due to Extressia shyness and her mother Jasmine close off attitude, even to her relatives, even though Extressia never really noticed that. Extressia father never appeared in her life, though she felt happy enough with her mother that she never questioned his absence in the family. Why he left was a mystery to her(Extressia don't know, but it because he couldn't handle the truth that Extressia mother was from the magical world, and when he returned there be scenes of high tensions and dismissive of Extressia, how he here he was in high debt and manage to somehow track the family through social means, he will be a Muggle. That story element won't take place till in the 2nd or 3rd year though)

During living in their apartment, Jasmine and Extressia sang karaoke they borrowed from a neighbor, she always make snacks for Extressia came home, and read about animals fairytales. Jasmine was quite protective and watchful around Extressia, so Extressia never went outside much and stay indoors. But she did go to public school, where while she wasn't an outcast, she never made many long-lasting friends. There was a little loneliness to that, so she tried a couple of time there to have friends, didn't really work. Though she did make one, his name was Astrid, he was a muggle and they would be friends even when she moved to England. Then one day, almost suddenly her mother said they were moving to England. With little explanation, she finds herself moving away from the hustle and bustle city to the more quiet town of Bakewell, where most of her relatives were. Though she and Astrid kept in touch, she quietly fear that they will grow apart. One phone call, she found herself spontaneously asked for a sleepover, and after some planning from both families, Astrid flew to Bakewell and had their sleepover party.

It was during this sleepover that she unleashed her first instance of magic. They were playing truth or dare when the friend dare her to reveal to an embarrassing secret, she did and was so embarrass she accidentally made fireworks in the room. Luckily they were having it in her house so the mother overheard all the noise and manage to do damage control to the friend. That night she learned about the wizarding world and that her mother was a wizard, that night her mother told her magic was real. Now knowing fully that her mother kept secrets, Extressia begin questioning things to her mother. About why they left New York, about more details about the wizarding world that Jasmine gave so little of. She never questions her father, since she always forgets, and deep down she wasn't sure she wanted the answer to that. Then she got the letter to Hogwart, her mother didn't want her to go there, and while wishing for her daughter to never interacted with the wizarding world in general, she knew she couldn't let Extressia not have magical education, so with a heavy heart she contracted to their relatives, turn out on her mother side was mostly wizards and witches, few others were a muggle, and apparently, her father family was a muggle, with the few with magic was muggle-born, that didn't include her father. Then she got the letter to Hogwart, her mother speaking with an angry bitter tone, and while wishing for her daughter to never interact with the wizarding world. Her aunt and her went to Diagon Alley and pick up supplies. Then she went off to the Hogwart Express, finding two friends. Then she get sorted in Gryffindor.
