Erica Griffin was born on the 10th of February 2010 to Duncan and Willow Griffin Duncan and Willow were quite an unlikely pair as Duncan was a Muggle and Willow was a witch; Duncan found it hard to cope at first with his wife being a witch but as time went on, he realized that it didn't matter.
When Erica was first born she and her family lived in a small flat in London but when she about 2 years old, they moved to a little cottage in the countryside village of Calstock, England. Erica enjoyed the change of residence very much as she had much more space to play around and she would spend lots of her childhood years outside running around the fields and playing near the river.
It was a shame though, how Erica never had that any friends to share this fun with, she was never able to make friends at school no matter how nice, inclusive or entertaining she was to people, no one seemed to want to be her friend but no one exactly bullied her or made fun of her either, they just sort of ignored her as though she was invisible. However, she certainly wasn't invisible when she cracked a joke about the teacher in class making everyone laugh or whenever pulled pranks or caused trouble - which she did quite often just because she was bored. Erica didn't have anyone to play with, no siblings, no friends and her parents were always too busy. Her mum usually had important work to do at the Ministry of Magic (Erica never understood what her mothers job was) and her father journalist and the editor of the village's local newspaper so he'd almost always be cooped up in his room typing.
So when an owl came through their open kitchen window one summer morning, Erica was both ecstatic and nervous at the same time. Erica didn't want to be invisible, she hated it. Sure she didn't want to be the centre of attention all the time but she at least wanted to be known and not just forgotten and ignored. Obviously, Erica was still super excited when the envelope with a red wax seal came flying through the window and landed on her lap. Her mother had told her stories about her youthful days at Hogwarts and ever since then, Erica had anticipated getting her letter and attending the famous school. And now, it had finally arrived.

Personality: Although Erica never had many friends, that doesn't stop her from being confident and always eager to try new things she is also very loyal and will always stick up for the people she loves. Erica seems quite shy and troublesome on the outside but really she's a very nice and funny person to talk to and is an awesome friend. She is very outgoing and very ambitious and almost always needs to succeed her goals.

Erica has brown wavy hair that grows slightly below her shoulders. She has bright blue eyes, a sharp nose and fair skin.

Wand
The item that Erica was most excited to get was her wand and she practically ran towards Ollivanders Wand Shop when she came to it on the list. However, Erica wasn't an easy customer, it took her 4 tries before she found the perfect wand. Erica was used to being not wanted and people ignoring her and not wanting her around them, so when a wand finally chose her; she was overjoyed and felt special.
She still remembered what Ollivander had told her as he had handed her the wand - "35,6 cm, mayhaw wood and dragon heartstring. Fairly flexible, very powerful but hard to use, very selective of the wizard it chooses."
