One day, during one of her father's particularity bad fits, Olive found herself climbing out her bedroom window. The cold mildew of the grass met her soles as she hopped down, and her lungs filled with the fresh earthy smell of it just having rained. She spared little time before setting off running. It didn't take her long before she found herself outside of a greenhouse. It belonged to an elderly muggle lady named Ruth who let her in to explore. From that day, up until the day of Olivia's departure for Hogwarts, she'd been secretly sneaking out to help and learn from Ruth in the greenhouse.
Born into a pureblood wizard family she's come to Hogwarts with high expectations for her to succeed. Both of her older brothers graduated with remarkable grades and went on to score prestigious positions at the ministry of magic, and she is held to those very same standards. While the family name goes far back and is quite well known, it is not for admirable reasons. Two years prior the Moore family was in the limelight for having "erased" squibs from their family tree. A scandal among those putting high value in pure bloodlines, and off putting to those who did not.
