Interview with Idiots
This is a private rp with @Percival Rainwood and @Lei Liu
Another class is another time for Hanako to take a pleasant sleep.
The class wasn't the best place to sleep in the first place, but they were an opportunity to be seized. And Hanako will take any that allowed him to delve into his slumber mode.
Hoping today luck is better than yesterday, he swiftly laid his head on the table and covered his face with folding arms. You know, the usual way's a student would sleep in class thinking they're slick about hiding it from the teacher.
But Hanako had a special weapon today, and that weapon is his childhood companion, Lei Liu. The overly dressed, spoiled pure-blood with a scary glint in his eye when he sees an ugly shoe that has stuck with him since childhood.
And today, they are deskmates. He was fairly certain, despite Lei's insistence in wearing sunglasses in a room so dark and cold like the dungeons a.k.a potions class, he should be capable of warning Hanako about the professor in case he came to our table. Lei will be able to shake him awake and he, like the little actor he is, can act like he was listening to the professors dull lectures.
So far, no moves were made from his partner in crime, so he continued to take his nap, only vaguely hearing the class mumbling about a group project.
" Hey posh boy " he called out to Lei " Wake me up when sometime interesting happens ". His voice was slightly muffled from resting his face in his arms but the message crossed over anyway.
God, the dungeons are cold .

Lei monotonously hummed an 'mhm' in response. He glanced at the sleeping Hana beside him, wondering if there was anything to do. The pale boy just tapped his fingers on the desk, impatiently , a bored look on his face. Lei lowered his head near Hanako's, whispering with a smug tone.
He chuckled and leaned back into his seat, taking off his designer shades. Lei's smile soonly faded back into a neutral expression, boredom seeping back in. He fiddled with the glasses in his hand as if it were not worth more than most of the students clothes in here combined.
Lei's head leaned back, his dark and soft locks fell away from his eyes. He just stared at the bland ceiling, head in the clouds.
Lei supposed it was reasonable. The benefits of rooming with them was literally a mild threat that if you did not join them, you would be in danger. That is not far from the truth, but the boys could have listed something more intriguing.
Although their note has attracted 3 other boys into inviting them in their own dorm, Lei rejected them and proclaimed war against them. Why? They would very much get along, so he would rather have some fun with going against his own kind.
The ravenette sighed, now getting irritated from waiting for this class to end. He clicked his tongue and crossed his arms, praying for anything to happen.
"Why do you nap so much? Beauty sleep is not going to fix that monstrosity on you called a face."

Interview with Idiots
Percival grit his teeth together as he watched the professor write something on the board. Though he could barely pay attention. The boy was mostly slumped on his desk. The only thing supporting his head was his hand that rested underneath his chin.
It had been a chaotic morning so far. He had trouble finding his wand this morning, and it had caused him to be late to his first class. To make matters worse he and his roommate had fought again. Mostly because Percival blamed him for hiding his wand even though the other boy was innocent. The two boys were complete opposites, and their personalities clashed in more ways then one. Though Percival didn't try to pretend he liked the kid. In fact, Percy made it clear that he despised the kid's guts.
Percival was pulled from his thoughts when he realized he was missing most of the lesson. Blinking rapidly as he tried to focus on what the teacher was saying.
"-working in pairs of three today. Everyone, please partner up."
Percival only caught part of what she said, and he didn't even know what they were doing today. His gaze shifted to his left where his lab partner usually sat. Though it seemed like she had ditched him to be in another group.
With a quick look around it was clear that groups were being quickly made. Not wanting to be the only kid without a group, Percival quickly walked over to two boys who were sitting at their desk. One of the kids looked like they were sleeping and the other kid looked fairly pompous. With a deep breath, Percival walked quickly over to the two kids. "Hey do you guys want to work together?" He asked his hands crossing in front of him subconsciously.
Percival's question was more directed at the kid who wasn't sleeping. Though he stood closest to the sleeping kid. "We have to get into parterns of three." He added hoping to hurry along the process of securing a group.

Interview with Idiots
" Bold of you to be assuming I'm sleeping to fix my handsome face, pretty boy. I'm sleeping so that this boring class ends quicker, and the minutes I have to wait until I get to my bed is shorter. Besides, if you call this face a monstrosity, then you should reconsider your role as the ' fashionable ' one in the family ".
Even with his eyes still closed, he turned his head slightly to the left, enough to say his remarks clearly to the sparkling kid. In the eyes of outsiders, he may sound a bit harsh, but that was always the tone he used with his companion. His layers peel off nicely when he's with Lei. Thus, he did not need to analyze his words at all around him.
With closed eyes, Hanako's smile morphed into somewhat of a sarcastic smile when Lei mentioned their request for a dormie. Being reminded of how he still got no sign of any letter of interest from anyone had him brainstorming every impossible and mentally traumatizing pranks to put on every male Slytherin 1st year. A good shame he was too lazy to carry any of them out.
He made sure to put great benefits in that request letter. How anyone wouldn't jump at the given opportunity to have people like him and Lei as ally's, baffled him. Currently, every Slytherin 1st year boy managed to irk him without even saying anything.
Every single one of them.
" I don't know " he muttered, as he went back to hiding in his arms.
"Hey, do you guys want to work together? We have to get into partners of three ".
Muffled from the cave called his arms, his groan of annoyance was still clear to hear. He pushed himself out of his previous position to take a good look at the bearer of bad news.
The only thing he noted about the boy was that he was a Slytherin, and that was enough to make Hanako mutter another line of " やれやれやれやれ..." やれ= how bothersome
But, he shouldn't be too rude to a kid that was willing to go to their table to secure a group for this dumb project. So, he took another look at the stranger, quietly observing the look on the kid's face.
A welcoming smile, yet in a cheeky tone he said :
" Well, don't you look like you rolled out of the wrong side of the bed. Tough morning.~? Dorm members can be quite tiring to deal with~ "
It was still childish for Hanako to be poking at his housemates bad mornings but he just couldn't help it and think: ' serves you right for not being interested in being dormies '. Not even a small part of him thought that perhaps, not all his peers saw the dormmate request.
" You did make an effort to get out of your chair and I admire you for going through such lengths to get a group, so Lei-" he turned around to his companion "- Is he allowed to sit with us? "
Despite the kid's obvious odd morning, he seemed ' okay ' in Hanako's book.

Lei stared at Hanako, gently grabbing him by the back of his head and pushing his face back to his arms.
Lei's eyes fell onto the blond boy in front of him, his face not twitching a muscle. The intensity in his eyes relaxed after a moment. Lei just gave a barely noticeable nod, looking away.
Lei moved his chair a bit, making some room for his classmate. He tilted his head toward's the boy's chair, suggesting to bring it here.
Lei was still boredly fiddling with the shades in one of his hands, flipping them around and trusting that if they shattered to the ground it would be no big deal. He was still facing his front, not bothering to tilt his body towards his new lab partner.
He had a feeling it was not, but it is what came to mind first. Lei glimpsed towards the boy, his sharp eyes squinting just for a second before looking away again.
Lei's hand poked Hanako's shoulder to tick him off, knowing Hanako hates being touched. Smirking teasingly at his short friend, he glanced back at the blond boy, expecting a response.
"Shut up, no soul."
Lei's eyes fell onto the blond boy in front of him, his face not twitching a muscle. The intensity in his eyes relaxed after a moment. Lei just gave a barely noticeable nod, looking away.
"It would benefit us more to have a partner, don't you think?" He murmured in his usual tone to Hanako.

Interview with Idiots
Percival felt his eyebrow raise slightly as he listened to Hanako groan underneath his arm. The boy who he had previously thought to be asleep, was definitely not. Arms still crossed across his chest, the first-year waited for the boy to say something. He hadn't been expecting the kid to say something in a different language. Not knowing what the boy said, he stood in front of him slightly awkwardly.
Percival was a little surprised when the kid commented on his appearance. He didn't think he looked that rough, but he had only glanced in the mirror before he had taken off this morning. "I guess you can say that." he muttered with a small frown. The thought of his dormmate brought a sour taste to his mouth. He swore that boy was going to be the end of him
The boy found it a little awkward to stand in front of the two boys as they decided whether or not he could be their partner. As the first boy addressed the kid named Lei, he also turned his gaze to the other. Percival was surprised at the intensity of Lei's gaze, and he found himself freezing up as he waited for the other to speak.
Apparently Lei found what he was looking for, because he gave a small nod of conformation. Percival nodded before going to grab his chair. He set his chair down on the other side of Lei, and he sat down quickly.
Percival's eyebrows furrowed slightly as Lei butchered his name. Parsal? That's a new one. he thought to himself. Percival lay his arms down onto the cool surface top of the bench. "The name's Percival." he said with a small smile. "Nice to meet you." he added after Lei finished introducing himself and Hanako.
"Looks like we're all in Slytherin. I haven't seen you guys around though." he said as he angled his body so he could get a clearer view of Hanako and Lei. He guessed that they were first-years, like himself, seeing how they were all in the same class.

Interview with Idiots
Give it to Lei for embarrassing him in front of new people.Lei smashed Hanako's head enough to hit it againts the table. Though no blood was involved, it hurts like hell. Hanako continued to rub his sorry forehead with an irritated smile while their new partner took a seat at their table.
He watched as Percival introduced himself politely, couldn't help but think it was too polite. It was as if he was in a real interview and Hanako and Lei were the people he had to impress under an hour. Or maybe, Hanako thought about this too much. As someone who acts no differently with strangers and friends, polite introductions often amused him.
With a gleeful smile, he said to Percival " Likewise, Parsal ~". He was indeed glad, that Percival was the one that came to them. Because of him, Hanako didn't have to force anyone to be him and Lei's partner. That was fun, but truly tiring.
"Looks like we're all in Slytherin. I haven't seen you guys around though."
Whatever Percival said, had Hanako feign a dramatic gasp as his hand was placed on his heart, like what his potion partner had said greatly offended him.
" Haven't seen us around you say? Not even 5 minutes here and you've already wounded my heart.." he whined, but his lack of care was obvious by how he was already opening Lei's potion notes, to see what kind of potion they were going to deal with today.
" I understand if you haven't seen me around, though. If possible, I'd stay next to my bed all day but I try my best~" Hanako informed with an innocent smile. " But, I guess posh boy here isn't as popular as he says he is~" he grinned, eyes still focused on the notes but it was clear he took a jab at Lei's fragile ego.
" Anyways, I wrote down the ingredients~" he grinned as he proudly showed his own list of ingredients to Percival. The writing was rushed, but readable. Before it could be inspected any further, Hanako quickly folded it until it was as smaller than his hand.
The horridly folded piece of paper was placed between Hanako's fingers, as a cheery grin appeared on his face. " Ingredients, I'll get to later~ " he snickered, putting the said paper safely into his pockets.
" We have time before class ends to do this. I'll get the ingredients later, but let's talk about something more interesting than potions~"
" Like your roomie for example~ "
Hanako wanted to get to know his current team members. It was just so fun to see someone experience a bad morning. He wasn't going to pretend he wasn't interested in learning how bad a roomie Percival must've had.
" Did he steal something? Wrecked your room? C'mon team member, feel free to vent with us~ We won't tell a soul ~"
If Hanako was nicer, he would've gladly offered this Percival a stay in their room for a change. But that was too fast, wasn't it? They have only exchanged names and nothing more. Even if Hanako wanted to get it over with, he still had certain standards for his newest roomie. And allowing him to vent out his feelings were one way to get to know a person.
Lei Liu has not been active for a while. The thread has been edited and it will continue with only Hanako and Percival. I think that's how it works?

Percival jumped slightly as he watched Lei smash Hanako's head into the table. Though he did his best to act like things were normal. Everyone's already partnered up no way I can find another group to be in. he said trying to convince himself to look past this.
The boy inwardly cringed as Hanako once again messed up his name. Though this time it was clear to see that the other boy was just messing with him. One would think that he would be able to ignore the teasing seeing how he had two older brothers. Though Percival was never that level headed. "Just call me Percy." he snapped.
Afterward, he quietly regretted snapping at Hanako mostly because he wanted the others to help him with their assignment. Percival tried to change the subject by talking about how they were all in Slytherin, but it seemed like it backfired. He watched as Hanako acted as if Percival had called him a dirty mudblood. Percival's eyebrows scrunched together slightly. "Should I know you two?" he asked with a frown. Percival's gaze flicked over to Lei as he tried to figure out if he knew him. I mean he does look posh. he thought a little confused about why that means he should know a kid. His parents were well off, but that didn't mean he knew every single 'posh' kid.
Percival glanced down towards the list of ingredients, but right as his eyes began to focus on the first couple of words. He was greeted to Hanako folding and hiding it in his pockets. The boy didn't know if he liked the idea of waiting until the end of class to try and finish their potion. Yet the idea of just sitting around and talking was much more appealing. Percival took a glance at the clock before shrugging. "Sure why not," he said crossing his arms on the desk.
Though he was slightly surprised that Hanako wanted to talk about his infamous roommate. Percival rocked backward from his slouched position as he debated on what to do. He didn't exactly believe Hanako's promise of secrecy, but it would be nice to get his feelings off his chest. "Let's just say he's a vile little thing." he said with a frown. Percival leaned back into his chair crossing his arms. "He hid my wand, and caused me to be late to class." he stated with an annoyed sigh as he remembered the morning. "Through the entire thing he kept saying 'he didn't do it' but I found the wand on his side of the room." he stated with a small huff.

He watched with curious eyes and a Cheshire smile at how Percival snapped. Not so cool-headed and polite as he looked like, Hanako thought. Which only made him more eager to get to know the Slytherin.
“ Well, how else are we going to be special to you if we call you what everyone else does? We both have a problem with being boring, you see~” He explained in a light-hearted tone, indicating no hidden irritation for Percival snapping at him.
"Should I know you two?" Percival asked with a frown.
Hanako couldn’t help but laugh just a little bit at how blunt he is. “ It’s no obligation at all. It’s just that Lei here is kinda aiming to be popular since he was born. And being stuck with him, it’s only natural I follow along, no? “ He showed a playful grin. Unlike Lei, he’d rather stay just right behind the spotlight. One with the crowd, yet enough to gain the attention he wanted. Only the ones worth it.
“ Do you not have some goals you created before you entered here, Parshal? “ He curiously inquired.
Hanako wasn’t going to lie and say he wasn’t surprised to see Percival reveal what was bothering him. He made it purposely clear he truly didn’t give a grass, but props to Rainwood. It must be hard harboring all that all morning.
His roommate irritated Hanako more than it should. He understood more than anyone that it was one of the rules of the potion class to bring a wand. Fail to bring a wand, and you already failed at making potions. “ He stole your wand and he wasn’t even smart doing it? “ he let out a mocking laugh “ If he’s gonna lie, the least he could do was be smart about it “.
He observed Percival a bit. He looked annoyed, but it seemed like venting it out did him good. “ You know, Lei and I are quite rich. Even if we did try to steal something, we don’t look that convincing. Plus, we believe roommates should at least have the decency to make each other's lives easy as they can. Therefore, resulting in a home that's guaranteed to give off a sense of chill and security. We’re all away from the safety of our homes, so don’t you think we should try to make our home in this school as ‘ home ‘ as we can make it be? ~”
Woah, what a mouthful. Hanako usually wouldn’t talk so much. But it was the most genuine thing he said all day. That was part of the main reason why he and Lei wanted another roommate. It wasn’t only because they had a spare bed. But why not pull in more people that wanted the same thing as they did.
A comfortable home.
Hanako was especially excited about it. Even if he didn’t show it.
“ Don’t you agree, Parshal? Your roommate doesn’t seem to agree with that. How easy is it to switch roommates? How much do you agree on our idea of what roommates should be? “ He questioned curiously. Eager to hear his answer.

Percival huffed indignantly as it became clear the boy found his anger funny. It wasn't like Percival wanted to snap at Hanako for getting his name wrong, but it was so very annoying. Percival rolled his eyes as his partner spoke. "Percy is not a boring name. It's a shortened version of my name... a nickname." he stated crossing his arms slightly.
"I guess you two must know each other from before Hogwarts then?" he asked tilting his head slightly to get a look at the other boy at the table. He found it a little strange for someone to make it their life goal to become popular, but he wasn't going to say anything.
Percival sighed nodding at Hanako's statement. "Yes he's such a horrible liar too." he grumbled. He glanced towards the teacher to make sure that they hadn't noticed the lack of work. Percival had no real reason to hate his roommate as much as he did, but it did not stop him from hating on him.
The boy found it a little strange that Hanako would randomly drop the fact that he and Lei were both rich. Though he decided not to bring it up. What Hanako said did make sense, Hogwarts was supposed to be like a second home, and roommates were an extension of that.
Percival nodded looking back towards the pair. "I mean I guess you're right. It's hard to feel like Hogwarts as my home when I have a bad roommate." he said crossing his arms tighter across his chest. The boy truly wanted Hogwarts to be like a home for him. It was hard to feel like him own home was home at times. Hogwarts was like a beacon, a place filled with people he could rely on, and he wanted that so badly.
Percival frowned to himself debating over Hanako's words. "Of course I agree. Though I don't know how hard it would be to switch." he said his frown deepening slightly. "We're already about a week into the year, and besides most dorms are already filled." he said with a sigh.
