Indubitably, magic is one of the subtlest and most difficult of the sciences and arts. There is more opportunity for errors of comprehension, judgment, and practice than in any other branch of physics.

CHILDHOOD

The frail girl was born during a hot evening of July. Her family was a traditional one from Italy, the country of culinary delicacies. The parents of the little girl always dreamed of having a child and opening a small restaurant. It was the reason why their union always worked. Her Father was a wizard from a well-known family who were reputed for their culinary experiences. Indeed, it was the element that brought those two individual together. Or at least, to cross part. Her mother was a muggle. She had looked up all of her life toward a simple goal, creating a small and hearty place to welcome those who wanted to eat a great meat. In that sense, the two adults meet during their schooling in a Culinary School. After their graduation, they had decided to travel around the world to acquire different kinds of experiences from some of the greatest chief of the Unites-States, but also from Canada. A few years later, they were back in Italy. Most especially in the small town of Visso. It was a quiet place without a lot of interaction with the rest of the world. They had thought it would be the perfect places to educate their children.

When the small girl was born, it was a peaceful moment in the life of the Ethel family. They had recently opened they're now renowned Bistro, La Casa Delle Mille Delizie, and had been in Visso for a few years now. In that sense, since each member of the family had always known magic, Rosemary grew up without fear of her power and with the necessary knowledge to succeed in the magical world. The only problem was laying with the attitude of the young child. She has always been reckless. Running into dangerous places and getting herself involved in conflicts with the children of her town. Unfortunately, nothing could stop her from having this behavior. Her mother would often come and see her during the evening when the young girl has been grounded for another fight or pranks she had made, to explain to her why it was not acceptable. However, Rosemary never listened.

It was this kind of behavior that separated her from her parents. From that times, the girl had started to isolate herself from her family. She was getting up around dawn, but would always run outside as soon as she could. She would go walk around in the town and most likely spend times with her friends. None of them were wizards. It was something that Rosemary appreciated since she would often have to study in the old books of her dad to prepare herself for Hogwarts. It was something that was annoying to her. She felt as if his father only wanted her to follow his step and be in his shadow when the girl only wanted to shine on her own. On another hand, she could have gone to Beauxbaton since it was closer and the young girl spoke some French, but her dad had gone to the Scottish Castle and wanted her only daughter to follow his step. In all honesty, Rosemary did not care about the magical school she would attempt once she had celebrated her eleven years old birthday. In her sense, it would not change her future. She was torn apart by the opportunity that she had. She could become a great wizard and find a reputable work in the wizarding world, but she could also get one in the Muggle world and follow her mother step. Even though she lacks affection for her, she still took the times to look at each of her options. Rosemary was a smart child, even though she was always getting in trouble, she had a brain on her shoulder. That fact could explain why the small girl always got superiors result in her muggle exams. It would make her parents proud, but the girl never really cared. She only wanted to live her life and to find a meaning to it.

Once she turned eleven, Rosemary had acquired a lot of knowledge about magic. Most especially in the potion arts. She had developed some sort of liking to this subject and looked forward to this class. The young girl had changed over the times, she was still as reckless as before, but her soul was more mature. At that moment, the young Italian girl believed she could defeat each challenge and would succeed in everything that she attempted...

FIRST YEAR
Rosemary has been confident in herself when she had left her small house in Visso. Indeed, she had not taken the times to say goodbye to her parents, preferring to leave a small letter on the counter and to quickly run outside, joining her paternal grandmother. She was living in England and had accepted to keep the small girl with her during her schooling at Hogwarts. Rosemary could never complain about that decision. She loved her grandmother. It was during the rare times that she would see her that the girl was actually happy. It was as if the older woman could understand her. She was living a life that could be seen has bored and pretty normal on the outside, but that was complex on the inside. She felt relieved that someone could comprehend her that great.

In that sense, she had lived the summer before entering Hogwarts in a small town called Luss. She loved the name. It was unique just as much as the town. A lot of the population were wizards. In that sense, during the times she was there, Rosemary meet young wizard of her age who would attempt Hogwarts at the same times as her. She would never show it, but she has been relieved to find some individuals that could live the same things as her. On that day, she had returned home quickly to tell her fabulous story to her grandmother which listened to her a huge smiled on her face. It was still a peaceful time and they were enjoying it.

A few weeks after, the young girl was now ready to take the train and to begin her journey to her wizard school. She has been anxious. Unwilling to leave her grandmother, but also, to start an unknown episode of her life. Even so, the young girl took her courage and took the train to go Hogwarts. Surprisingly, she found a compartment with two of the friends she had made back in Luss, Freddy and Anna. They would soon become inseparable friends.

Arriving at Hogwarts, the three of them took the small boat that was leading to the Scottish Castle. What a mysterious feeling she had felt. She knew this school would bring her good but also bad. However, she was still unsure if she was totally at peace with that fact. It was with those thought that the young girl went to her sorting ceremony. If she looked at her past, Rosemary was expecting to get sorted into Slytherin. She had heard a lot about them. Mostly referring to their bad aspect. It was why, knowing that she was herself reckless and always defying the authorities, she would not expect any other houses. She had watched Freddy and Anna get sorted respectively in Hufflepuff and Slytherin. At least, she would have Anna with her to get through that journey.

Her turn came and she silently sat down on the small stool while the hat was laid down on her black hair. Rosemary had felt anxious, waiting for a chastisement that never actually came. The hat has sorted her in Ravenclaw, the house of the smart. It has been a surprise, but it also meant that she would not have to bear the Slytherin background with her for the seventh next years. She was grateful for it even though she could not comprehend why the hat has not sorted her into that green and silver house. She had each quality.

Her first year went slowly, the young girl made a few friends inside of her house, but she mostly stayed with Freddy and Anna who has become her best friends. Together, they were pulling pranks and giving hard times to their professors. Fortunately for her, Rosemary was indeed smart and would never get a grade lower than E. This might be the reason why her professors always let her go each time she was doing something she should not be.

Something was certain, it never helped her to start being responsible and to be more careful about what she was doing...
