Trapped inside yourself
Opeila had been standing in the courtyard for a while, staring at the entrance that the guy, who she considered a friend, had disappeared through. Even when it started to rain, she wouldn't move.
Now she found herself in the abandoned toilets, her book in her hand. She hated herself. Why was she here, of all places? Was it her subconcious that led her while she was still thinking of Jack's words? Slowly she stepped forwards. There was a strange pain inside her. It felt like she would fall apart if she made only one wrong move. She looked at her own face in one of the broken mirrors and for some reason that was it, what made her snap. Once again her eyes pooled with teirs, as she through her book at the mirror. The soft cover hardly managed to cause another crack on it.
Opeila didn't care it only made her more aggressive. With four big steps she was in front of the mirror, hitting it as hard as she could. With every beat she shouted, cursed everyone she knew. Her dad, her mum, Hardin, even Flac and Amy, but in the first place Jack. How could he get inside her heart that fast? Sure, she liked him, but she didn't noticed that she had started to care. And she wouldn't have minded that either if it wasn't for Jack, who behaved like a coward. After all there was a reason that he was a Slytherin and not Gryffindor.
Again and again Opeila beat the mirror, pieces of it were falling off. She didn't care about her hand being cut all over, she was happy about the pain. It took her mind of her inner pain a little. She looked at the blood on her hands before she leaned at the wall breathing heavily and slid down on the floor. There she started crying again, not able to stop. Again she wrapped her arms around herself, not caring about the blood from her cuts dripping on her white shirt.
She felt useless. Not needed. Not wanted. Her mother had tried one of her own invented potions and fell into some kind of coma. She was in the St.Mungos, who knew if she would wake again. Her father only wrote Opeila the letter that informed her about her situation and nothing else. Hardin was an owl. Flac was nice, but no one she would talk to about her fears and problems. Amy was sweet and innocent, maybe a friend but Opeila thought that she would also turn away frim her if she found out how damaged she was on the inside. Jack she had trusted. And he had let her down instead of helping her like he said on the Astronoly tower.
Opeila felt like she was torn apart. She couldn't breathe. Tears were streaming down her face as he body was shaken by the silent sobs that came over her. "How could you?", she wispered.
"HOW COULD YOU?!"
