Die... uh, I mean Dye
Piérre crept about the abandoned toilets, having just sent an owl back to Mathilda in the Ministry. Smiling to himself, he ran carefully closer to the bathrooms. It was a quick and easy task, something in his mischievous nature he had promised he would do: get in the bathroom, snag a toilet seat, sprint back to the owlrey, and then send Dubuque on his merry way, letter and package in tow. It was with love from Piérre, of course.
He ducked into the he nearest bathroom, having just barely avoided a Prefect patrol. Two days in, and he still hadn’t caused mischief. It was a new all time low for him. He needed that to change. A new world, full of things to explore and discover, and he hadn’t even tried to cause chaos yet. That would swiftly change.
Putting his hands in his pockets, Piérre whistled a merry melody, trying to act inconspicuous as he glanced fleetingly about the bathroom, looking for both the toilet seat which was the neatest, and the one which would be the easiest to remove. Fortunately for him, his twin, Romeo, was back in the Gryffindor dorm, already prepping for his schedule and attempting to cast some simplistic mending spells on his own, which of course, was quite impossible.
Just then, Piérre’s eyes settled on the perfect seat. It almost seemed to glow with a celestial light. It was perfect. Shiny and clean white, perfect to be written on, and it looked just the right size for Dubuque, who was an enormous white and speckled grey great horned owl.
Smile spreading, Piérre sprinted for the toilet, already looking it over for the easiest way to remove it. It was quite loose, and that was probably the reason why it was so clean; nobody had used it for quite a while. Oh well, all the easier for him. He would be doing the school a favor by disposing of it.
His fingers danced around the hinges, already beginning to pry the top away. How much fun was he going to have with this? Maybe he would wear it around his neck as he dashed down the hall again, or perhaps he could hang it up somewhere in the school somewhere, maybe on the displayed antlers of a mythical beast, or maybe in a classroom... Oh, Potions! That would be brilliant! First he would display the seat and then when he was through with it, he would_
A panicked scream echoed in the bathrooms."How do you wash out hair dye?"
Piérre’s head snapped to the noise. It sounded like a girl, perhaps just a bit older than him. Piérre considered snatching the seat and bolting for it, after all, she was a girl and he was a guy, and she was older than him. He would get in serious trouble for sneaking around the school like he was, especially when he was expected to be in his dorm room.
But what if she really did need help? Besides the request sounded innocent enough.
Snatching the toilet lid, which snapped off with a sharp crack!, Piérre followed the sound of the scream. Tentatively turning the corner, he looked into the bathroom.
In the center of the room, a girl, older than Piérre, was staring in horror at her reflection. Her hair was a crookedly cut and ragged brown, as if she had tried to cut her own hair and had had no experience previous. Tears were just barely beginning to pool in her eyes and she frantically ran her fingers through her shorn locks. Piérre could just barely make out through her thick hair, as she parted it and ruffled it, the faintest traces of cyan blue. That must have been her hair color before she dyed it.
Carefully, Piérre stepped into the room, not daring to appear in the mirror’s reflection.
”Hair... dye?” He asked carefully. Piérre had had no previous experience with hair dye, but he had had much experience with styling short and crazy locks, due to the nature of his own mussed chestnut hair. He shifted the toilet lid from hand to hand, tipping his head. ”Why would you want to kill your hair? It’s really pretty the way it is.” He smiled carefully, trying to lighten the mood and encourage the distraught girl to laugh.

Die... uh, I mean Dye
Duna hurried down the hallway, attempting to follow her friend Pièrre. He hadn’t done anything big since they had gotten here, and by the way they had met, she assumed he was up to something. However, he was very quick and dodgy, and Duna was not fast. She quickly lost track of him.
Duna paused to catch her breath. She shouldn’t even be out of her dorm right now, what was she doing running down a hallway?! Duna shook her head, she should head back. ‘But what if Pièrre gets in trouble, or hurt?’ Duna thought. She went back and forth in her head, eventually deciding to continue looking for her friend. He was the first and, so far, only friend she’d made here. She didn’t want him getting expelled.
Duna walked quietly down the side of the hall, staying in the shadows, which was easy for her in the black robe. Duna didn’t like the black at all, plus the robe seemed to engulf her tiny frame. She was thankful that it was comfy, though. She liked her little yellow stripped tie too, and she always had her pink hairpins and earrings!
Duna was jolted out of her thoughts by a loud scream.
“How do you wash out hair dye?”
Without a second hesitation Duna ran to the door she had heard it coming from, it looked like and old entrance to a bathroom. She opened the door quickly, yet carefully.
She took a few steps in and saw Pierre holding a toilet seat. Of corse. Duna also saw another girl, she looked a bit older and she had dark brown, choppy hair. Almost as if she had tried to cut it herself. After a quick look at the scissors and bottle of empty brown hair dye on the sink, and the pile of brown and blue hair on the floor, Duna quickly figured out that was exactly what this girl had done.
Duna took another step forward, standing next to Pièrre. She looked at Pièrre for a moment, as if asking what happened, before looking at the girl and signing, “Are you okay?”
