Ever Try To...
"It's time to make the most of the weekends," Tina reasons with herself as she walks away from her dorm. She had spent all of last night working on her homework so she would have all weekend to do whatever she liked. It was a cloudy November morning, but Tina didn't mind since she would be staying indoors. She scolds, "I haven't done enough of my to-do list and 2 months have already past!"
Grabbing her art bag, she heads to the nearest mirror to decide whether she should draw a sketchbook. Her gold doe eyes had dark bags under them and her long bright red hair was frizzy instead of wavy. Her long sleeved collared black shirt had two buttons that weren't fastened at the top and her light gray leggings were as plain as light blue flats. Perhaps she shouldn't have stayed up so late, she thought as she yawned. She would just have to draw something else.
As she wandered through the different halls of Hogwarts, she came upon an unrecognizable room. It seemed... broken. Everywhere was broken. The toilets, sinks, glasses, and walls all held the same shattered demeanor. She felt bad for the inanimate objects and decided to add a shade of color. That way, whenever someone ventured to this spot, they would have faith in a place of shadows and darkness. She knelt down on the cold, dirty floor before pulling out crayons and colored pencils. She let her hands draw the picture she had in mind, hoping it will turn out the way she imagined it.

Ever Try To...
Kat rubbed his face with his palm, blinking away his fatigue as he chewed berry-pink bubblegum. Wearing a loose sweater and a pair black jeans, he kicked his legs high as he walked. The second floor, small but filled with corridors, was somewhere Kat lingered. Or, you could say, get lost, but that's ridiculous. As the curly-haired boy wandered, popping his bubble gum mindlessly, he stumbled upon a smaller, hidden hall.
As curiosity got the best of him, Kat peered in. He kept his hand on the wall, as if scared it would close on him. The deeper he got, the more ruined it became, until what was left was loose bricks and cobwebs. His hand now left a trail as it wiped off dust that had accumulated on the wall.
He entered a bathroom, abandoned, for that matter. His eyes wandered, soaking in the area. The mirror was so dirty, it wasn't even a mirror anymore. The sinks were crusted with some sort of fungi, which was utterly disgusting, and cobwebs laced themselves over everything in the room.
But what struck him curious was the single girl with frizzy, ruby hair, and soft eyes. She was drawing away, hands dancing waltzes with colored pencils and crayons. Kat didn't pull away his eyes. He felt the urge to hold his breath, and stay silent as ever, so the only sound was that of the art supplies scribbling away.

Ever Try To...
Tina looked up to see an interesting yet unrecognizable face of a boy. How long as he been standing there? She had just finish drawing a picture of the bathroom with a colorful scheme and was about to start on another when she finally noticed his prescence. Sometimes, she could get a little too absorbed by her art and hoped the boy didn't think she was just ignoring him. Now, she had no idea what to say to him. She was a pretty shy and stoic person and wasn't very good with social encounters. That didn't mean she couldn't try as she says, "Hi, have we met? I mean, how long have you been standing here? Do you ever try to draw in the abandoned toilets?"
She looked back down, too tired to be ashamed. It wasn't the first time she messed up her words in front of a stranger not to talk about the numerous times she had done it to her friends and families. Sometimes, she was just a nervous wreck and could never hold a "normal" conversation. Hoping to mend the awkward situation, she politely asks, "Um, so how are you? Having a good day so far, right?"

It's fine. I take some time to reply sometimes too.

Kat raised his eyebrows as he stood at the doorway, watching her draw. The silence stretched, tempting Kat to cut it in half, releasing the tension. But the girl did it for him. She had fixed her golden eyes on him, opening her mouth to talk. The curly-haired boy quickly was kicked into his senses as the world's sound seemed to rush back into his ears with a heavy rush.
"-met? I mean, how long have you been standing here? Do you ever try to draw in the abandoned toilets?" As soon as the words danced out of her mouth, rather carelessly, she had looked down at the dirtied floor. The attempt almost made Kat snort. Too late to make assumptions, it was clear, to at least Kat, that this girl was too quiet to be anything. Nothing. But that wasn't important. Not now anyways.
Though quick to leap to conclusion and stereotypes' side, he at least understood just a little bit on where she was going with the hesitation to restart her stumble of words. Everyone had been there, once, at least. Tilting his head to the side, he kept his mouth shut as the silence drawled on for just the while more.
"Um, so how are you? Having a good day so far, right?" There it was.
Hesitation before action, Kat popped his gum once more before speaking. "Which question am I supposed to answer?" He sniffed before shaking his head. "Nah. I'm good, good. Do you always come to obscure, dirty bathrooms to doodle?"

Ever Try To...
Tina felt uncomfortable in the presence of the boy in front of her. She was getting a bad feeling from him and noticed that all her excitement had disappeared. This boy didn't leave a kind first impression that she often came across and began contemplating a quick departure. She didn't like dealing with difficult people and would always walk away instead of fight. She felt like fighting was pointless and time consuming since the other person tend to never change their ways and someone always ended up hurt. Still, she would not allow this to ruin her chances of making a potential friend and decided to allow the boy to have a chance at redeeming himself. Putting on a poker face to hide her discomfort, she says, "Not really. Being here was a last minute decision. What are you doing here?"
She knew it was crazy enough that she was here, but she thought it was even crazier that he was here. what were the odds of two people ending up in a rarely visited room. Remembering the boy's smug look again, she decided that she wouldn't give him a chance. She began to walk out the door, not bothering to tell the boy were she was going.

Guilt pulled on the puppet strings of Kat, making his stomach twist. It sure wasn't clear to him, other than seeing her walk away made him want to sucker punch someone. Yet, he had no one to blame
but himself. His body lurched, pulling itself towards the girl, before Kat fought the unconscious decision. He bit his lip, shaking his head and shifting his weight, uncertainty now clouding over the sick feeling of the guilt. What he didn't want to do was watch this Ravenclaw go.
"Hey, I-" His throat caught on nothing, forcing him to clear his throat as his voice cracked. "If I like, offended you or anything..." The words pranced out of his mouth, and unable to catch them to take them back, so he simply sighed.
He continued in a muted voice.
"I don't know if you think I'm stupid, or whatever, I don't know what anyone thinks around this time of my life." Kat continued rambling, searching his brain for words, in which he found a great lack of. "I just found you here and I was like- Hey wow, this person sure is kinda a loner. Uh, no offense." He did a sluggish shrug of his shoulders. "If you can't deal with me, that's totally fine, because I'm a fart myself, so, you know." He paused, then straightened, eyes taking a more lighter look to them. "And oh, to answer your question, I was kinda sort of bored."
"And if you're going to leave, have fun drawing in another abandoned room." He grinned, the random band-aids on his face crinkling.
