Henry walked along the corridor trying to keep to himself as he passed professor's and other student's. Henry eyes both sides of him before advancing into the abandon toilets which he saw was empty. He made his way to the end of the room, in between two stalls and below a large glass panel window where he leaned his back on the wall then slid down to a seated position on the floor as he removed his messager type bag from his shoulder and placed it besides him.

As Henry waited there, he unbuckle the button of his Slytherin robes and slid one arm out then the other as he pulled his robe off and folded it before placing it on top of his messager type bag. Henry then dusted off his long black pants and pulled his grey, Slytherin uniform shirt down a bit before running a hand through his hair, I'm probably going to be here a while so why not be comfortable while I wait, Henry tapped his knees a bit then rested his arms on his knees while he waited for his best friend; Cricket Mercury.

Henry leaned his head back on the wall and got lost in thought while he waited. It's funny how were best friends and in different houses, but also it feels like I haven't seen Cricket since the train that led us to our second year at Hogwarts. I wonder if were stuck friends, I wonder if she would even come and what she has been up to? I would I have lots to tell her but I also miss her company, a lot.

Cricket had received a letter from Henry saying to meet him at the abandoned toilets to catch up on each other's lives. The young lion thought it would be a good idea, so at that designated time, she made her way over to the toilets. She had to be very calm and act like she was heading back to her common room. Making sure to look both ways, Cricket cautiously slipped behind a corner. There it was, the door to the abandoned toilets.

Cricket quietly opened the door and made sure to make no sound while entering. If Henry was there before her, she wanted to surprise him. The Gryffindor heard a rustling sound from near a large window. That must be Henry, thought Cricket. Should I make spooky ghost noises? No, maybe he'll get scared and report it to a professor. Maybe I could sneak up on him and jump on him? As Cricket was lost in her train of thought, she hadn't realized that nearly five minuted have passed. Bloody hell, she thought as she looked down at her watch.

Cricket snuck behind, around, and under stalls to made sure not to be seen. And in a deep voice she spoke, echoing around the room, "Who dares come into my private study? Is that a young Slytherin boy looking to be a sacrifice?" She watched the expression from Henry's face turn into a sudden face of fright and shock. Too much? Cricket chuckled a little before surprising Henry by jumping onto him and strangled him into a big bear hug.

"Looking for someone?"

Henry closed his eyes a bit as he lean his head back on that wall. "Who dares come into my private study? Is that a young Slytherin boy looking to be a sacrifice?" Henry heard a kind of deep voice say and he reopened his eyes while he stood up quite quickly. Henry spun around on his heels to find the source of the sound but couldn't which started to worry and frighten him, this is bad no this is worse then bad I shouldn't have came here especially after I read that book on these bathrooms being haunted by a moody ghost. Bloody hell what was their name, uh...think Henry ok I think it was mourning myrtle maybe, I'm not sure.

Henry about to ask the voice who they were then felt something jump on his back and he also jumped a bit as they said "Looking for someone?" As Henry focused he recognized the voice to be Cricket's and decided to have some fun of his know with her as she was chuckling meaning she must have enjoyed giving him that fright. "Yes, actually my best friend have you see her," Henry replied to Cricket while laughing, he then returned her bear hug that she was giving him. Still hugging Cricket, Henry spoke" it's great to see you Crick, I feel like we haven't seen each other since the beginning of our second year."

After a few more minutes of them hugging, once they broke away Henry once again took his seat upon the ground under the window that he was just a few minutes ago. Henry beamed up at Cricket, clearly glad to see her and be talking to her again since gryffindor's and slytherin's hardly had any classes together this year and he hardly saw her out of classes. Henry couldn't control himself from beaming at her as he spoke " so how are you, what have you been up to? I hardly saw you this year, I missed talking to you Crick."

Henry ran a hand through his hair while he awaited Cricket to answer him, the second year slytherin check his bag and robe real quickly to ensure their safe before turning his full attention back to his best friend.

"Yes, actually my best friend have you see her?" Henry leaned in and brought Cricket into a hug. She was still cracking up from frightening Henry but began to calm down once she heard her friend's voice again. "It's great to see you Crick, I feel like we haven't seen each other since the beginning of our second year."
The young lion couldn't argue with that because it was true. They had talked a bit on the Hogwarts Express but went their separate ways once the train departed. The two kids let go of each other and Henry took his place where he was sitting before. Cricket brushed some dirt off of her robes before quietly sitting down next to her friend. She brought one of her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around it, as this is her usual stance while sitting down.

"So how are you, what have you been up to? I hardly saw you this year, I missed talking to you Crick," Henry said. He ran his hand through his chocolate brown hair before Cricket came up with an answer. "I've been fine these days, what about you? I've finally made some friends without my father dragging some innocent kid from his work to come and hang out with me," she said while playfully nudging Henry in the arm. "I really missed talking to you too, I feel like now that we were sorted into separate houses its been harder for us to see each other since our houses are rivals." She looked down at her scarlet and black robe with a small Gryffindor crest on the side of her chest and then looked at Henry's green and black robe with a small Slytherin crest. She frowned and started playing with the tips of her long blonde hair.

Henry listened to Cricket speak and laughed a bit as he remembered where they first met, technically it was at leakey cauldron when both of them were on holiday but after their parents kept on pushing them together which work out in the end since they were close friends, Henry replied while smiling " that's good, anything exciting happening Cricket?" Henry on the other hand didn't know what to say, as he didn't know if we he should tell her about his hidden family and life since she already knew part of it from the camp but not a lot. Henry also told Logan all of it so he wasn't sure if he should repeat it or what else to say, it was odd since Cricket and him were best friends ever since they were children by here they are and Henry didn't know what to say to her.

" I definitely made friends but not so much in my house. There mostly in ravenclaw and hufflepuff but everything else is fine," they haven't seen each other for a while but before Hogwarts they were inseparable so then what was this feelings that Henry had. He tried to hide it from Cricket as he spoke " I got my first detention and also my first girlfriend, I mean secret girlfriend so don't tell anyone Crick." Henry enjoyed talking to her but something felt different or weird.

Cricket was at a loss for words. It had never been this awkward talking with Henry, she hoped he would take the next word. Thankfully he did. "That's good, anything exciting happening, Cricket?" She had to take a bit of time to think of her answer. Anything exciting? What could be exciting? The thought of Cash came into her mind but decided to not say anything about them for now. "There's a dance coming up, with the Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Ilvermorny. I'm not sure if I'm going though...enough about me. What about you? Have you made some new friends?"

"I definitely made friends but not so much in my house. They're mostly in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff but everything else is fine," he said. The young lion chuckled a bit. It was funny, she was mostly friends with people from Slytherin, maybe friends wasn't the right word. She's met more people from Slytherin than her own house. "Anything else exciting?" She questioned.

"I got my first detention and also my first girlfriend," everything was fine until Henry said girlfriend. She expected him to get a detention, even though he is always anxious, he can be a bit of a trouble maker. Cricket was slightly worried that she wasn't his number 1 girl anymore, but she played it off and acted cool so that he wouldn't suspect anything. "I mean secret girlfriend so don't tell anyone Crick."

"You got yourself a girlfriend? Aren't you such a player," she said while playfully ruffling his hair. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone...but now that we're sharing secrets, I think I've met someone too. Well, I don't know, I only met them a few days ago but I really like them. Their name is Cash...er- Ironwoods."

Henry heard her speak about the dance and he noticed that it completely crossed his mind that he spoke " to be honest I forgot about it but I'm not sure. I don't think I'm going, Logan and I are probably going to hang out my the lake during it anyway," Henry then noticed that he mentioned Logan probably because he was thinking about her a lot since the two of them were best friends or also best friends, Henry quickly checked to make sure his friendship bracelet with Logan was hidden under his shelve as Cricket spoke. Henry then replied when she was done " that's cool and Logan just my friend not my girlfriend so don't worry but tell me about your friends?"

Henry knew that Cricket was definitely more shy than he was and was probably having a bit of a time making friends but when she mentioned him having a girlfriend he laughed but her ask sentence made him smile as he spoke " Cash Ironwoods? No way, I know them. Their in my same year and house, and we also had our fair share of times together," Henry remembered that him and Cash always seemed to be pulled into situations together and what he didn't know is that they plus 5 others would be serving detention together soon for something that they wouldn't do.

Henry however smiled as he spoke " that's great, I'm happy for your Crick," Henry really was as he continued " when are you going to tell? You shouldn't be worried about anything going wrong, your an amazing, strong, and beautiful person I'm sure everything will work out fine with Cash." Henry then had a great idea as he spoke " hey maybe we could go to the ball as a double date? That is if you ever ask Cash," Henry tickled Cricket's side real quick before saying " and if you ever see me with a blonde hair and blue eyed ravenclaw then that's my girlfriend; Miranda and don't be afford to join us. Since I would love for you to meet and approve of her since I knew you for the longest that I knew anyone."

Henry then stopped and continuing to smile, he thought about telling her more about his hidden life and family but was unsure as he spoke again " so tell me more about your second year Crick? How's your classes?" Henry then added a bit jokingly " mines are dull and a bit boring," however Henry still didn't feel right and like he couldn't talk to Cricket, a person who he new for his whole life. Henry just felt like something was wrong or missing, like they were no longer the people that they were before, that they were back last year on the Hogwarts Express. Everything felt different and he no longer felt like he knew her or she knew him, he started to feel anxious and panicked a bit but instead of breathing or running or doing anything Henry instead did something he never thought he would do.

Cricket was his best friend and he would never leave her but here he was feeling awkward and like she was a complete stranger while thinking about Logan who was best friend. Henry feeling anxious quickly threw his messager type bag over his shoulder and grab his bag as he picked up his robes, the friendship bracelet that he shared with Logan now visible on his arm as he ran from the abandon toilets and quickly muttered " I'm sorry I got to go, uh late to charms," which was a lie the real reason was he didn't know while that girl was in the abandon toilets and he didn't know himself either, what was happening.

OOC: Go ahead and write Cricket's response then we can start the next thread[ fright time  ] and the reason why Henry mentioned what Miranda looks like is that Cricket knows that Logan isn't Miranda when the two meet unintentionally.....

"To be honest I forgot about it but I'm not sure. I don't think I'm going, Logan and I are probably going to hang out my the lake during it anyway," Henry explained. The young lion flinched as her eyes widened to the name Logan. How much has she missed while she hadn't seen Henry? She noticed that he was tucking something inside of his robe. She didn't think much of it, it could've been an itchy spot or his wrists were tired from the long day they've had at school.

He said something about Logan not being his girlfriend, and just his friend. Cricket thought Logan was a boy at first, but she remembered that Logan is a unisex name. But was friend really the right word? Was Logan just his regular friend? Or maybe she was replacing Cricket. Henry mentioned Cash but the blue eyed girl wouldn't listen, as she was still thinking about this 'Logan' girl he mentioned. "Hey maybe we could go to the ball as a double date? That is if you ever ask Cash," he said. At that point, Cricket snapped out of her trance when her friend started to tickle her. In between bits of laughter, she managed to spit out, "Definitely...if I ask them."

"And if you ever see me with a blonde hair and blue eyed Ravenclaw then that's my girlfriend; Miranda and don't be afraid to join us. Since I would love for you to meet and approve of her since I knew you for the longest that I knew anyone." Miranda was his girlfriends name. Blonde hair and blue eyes, plus she was a Ravenclaw. Why shouldn't Henry like her? "I bet she's really pretty," the young lion mumbled.

Henry had kept talking, thankfully ignoring the expression on her face. She didn't want any questions. The two kids sat there in complete silence that you could hear a pin drop. Cricket assumed that there were a lot of things going on in Henry's mind, as they were both waiting for the other to take the next word. It was like when they first met. No one knew what to say or how to say it. Her friend picked up his bag and threw it over his shoulder. What is he doing?

A bracelet, which looked handmade, was now visible on his wrist. "I'm sorry I got to go, uh late to charms," he said as he shoved his way out of the room. Cricket just stood up and stared at a broken stall door. "I should get going too," she whispered, even though she knew no one would hear her.
