Sometime in October 2019

Hogwarts was a tricky to navigate at the best of times but today the place felt more like a labyrinth. Callie had originally intended to spend some time battering through homework in the library but by now her rather innocent intentions had been entirely forgotten. On her journey to the library from the Ravenclaw tower she'd managed to get hopelessly lost in the process as she was yet to figure out the differences between each corridor. While the corridors already looked somewhat similar to begin with Callie had found her sense of direction worsened by her poor eyesight since her glasses were once again on the brink of falling apart. An unfortunate accident involving a book and her glasses towards the end of one of her classes a couple of hours prior had resulted in her glasses being much more damaged than usual. By now the only thing keeping the poor things together was an assortment of tape, plasters and hope although even then they still seemed at risk of falling apart at any moment.

However regardless of how she got to this point the fact remained that Callie was well and truly lost. Her lack of experience at navigating Hogwarts coupled with her poor glasses had made for a truly deadly combination in terms of navigating. Eventually after a couple minutes of aimless wandering Callie stumbled upon a door which seemed somewhat promising. Was this her destination? Most certainly not but Callie didn't realise such things until she was already through the door. Instead of being greeted by the library Callie instead found herself greeted by perhaps the most depressing bathroom she'd ever laid eyes upon. The mirror was cracked, sinks chipped and to make matters worse one of the cubicle doors seemed to be hanging off its hinges. This most certainly wasn't the library! The state of the place confused Callie greatly as it didn't yet make sense why this room in particular was in such disrepair compared to the rest of Hogwarts.

The rest of the castle thus far had been a spectacle but this room seemed to be entirely forgotten about which only further sparked Callie's curiosity. Her own curiosity pushed her further into the seemingly abandoned room only for the girl to trip on a loose floor tile. Callie was sent tumbling towards the damp floor and managed to cut her hand on some loose shards of glass on the way down, prompting her to let out a huff of annoyance. Callie grumbled as she pushed herself onto her knees and held her now bleeding hand tightly as the blood slowly trickled out of her new injury. "Darn glass!" She exclaimed to the seemingly empty room as she tried to pinch the wound closed.

May needed to go and write in her diary...again. But everywhere was full of chitchat, and talking, so she could do nothing more than go to one place...the abandoned toilets. Of course, May thought that place was great, you know, quiet, nobody's there to annoy you and such. But she could only wonder, what was she really?
Her change of appearance was so big, that she couldn't just stop right there and think about it.mof course not! May decided she would take action. She picked up some books before coming there, in the library. All about...Metamorphomagi. No, she couldn't be that. Not a Metamorph.

Since she was a baby, she had been changing appearance, form...everything. And that annoyed her, because it was what made her parents stop talking to her. Tho, now she talks with her father, but her cowardly mother doesn't want to write to her, or talk to her.

Secondly, her mother is sick. She had been transferred to St. Mungos to be...you know, healed.
So that was great. Maybe no mother, May thought, as she walked through the corridors to the toilets were nobody went.

May heard a little thump, and a voice, saying: "Darn Glass!" when she pushed the door to look, and she saw a girl, with glasses, probably...injured.

"H-hey" May said. She was shy, but friendly, and would of course, help the girl with her cut.

While Callie was undeniably incredibly clumsy and accident prone despite her regular experience with injuries she still couldn't stand blood. The girl found the entire ordeal of having to deal with an injury or cut exhausting and often ate away at time that could be spent doing other things. Injuries were a pain, not fun in the slightest and only served to distract her from the matter at hand, which on this occasion was finding out what the deal was with this bathroom...and maybe find the library! Eventually. For now Callie was far too engrossed in complaining about her new injury and glaring at the blood trickling down the palm of her hand as if it had betrayed her. Darn shards of glass! Always interfering in her business..

In fact Callie was so engrossed in lamenting over her new injury that she had barely noticed the other girl in the bathroom and got a fright when May finally spoke. When May greeted the girl Callie jumped on instinct and managed to cut her knee in the process which only deepened her woes. "O-Oh! Hey! I uh, didn't see you there!" Callie exclaimed as she finally took notice of the other girl in the bathroom. She very quickly jumped to her feet and smoothed down her skirt, forgetting about the blood on her hand and staining her skirt in the process. Things were worsened by the blood trickling down her knee which caused Callie to let out a sigh of defeat. "I'm Callie! I may or may not have gotten a little bit lost.." She extended her hand in greeting only to realise the hand in question was still bleeding. "Oops! My bad! I suppose nobody wants to shake a bloody hand.." She rambled for a brief moment before once again trying to pinch the wound closed. "What is this place anyway? There's glass everywhere!" Callie exclaimed in disbelief whilst frowning at the blood trickling down her kneecap.

"Oh...umm," May muttered, as the girl 'wiped' her blood on her skirt. She seemed a little bit distracted. Maybe it was because she was injured. Or maybe it was a negative trait.

"Umm, I have a few bandages in here..." May muttered, before shaking her hand...well, she technically didn't. She just picked a finger of the girl, and shaked it softly, before she could take off the hand.

"This is the abandoned toilets." May said, her eyes turning deep dark. A sign of being a Metamorphomagi, again. "Yes, it's pretty damaged. I bet this bathroom was the girls lavatory long ago. A big legend hides behind these walls..." May said, again, her eyes turning her normal green again, for she was turning less shy while she talked to the girl. Wondering if the girl would want some alcohol, to help out the injury, she said, "D-do you want me to help you out? I mean...I have a first aid kit in my bag..."

"Hmm, we better keep out of the broken glass. They could injure us...more I guess."
She smiled at the girl. "I'm Moonstar, May Moonstar. As you may have seen, I'm a Muggle born. Tho I have magical relatives, like my sister." she said, wanting to shake Callie's hand, but remembered of the blood.

In comparison to Callie, May was quite soft spoken and seemed to put much more thought into her words. So soft spoken in fact that it took a moment to realise May was explaining that she had bandages which went some way to putting Callie's nerves at risk. "Bandages? Oh neat! You're a saviour!" She exclaimed with a wide grin as May shook her finger, finding the gesture quite entertaining which sparked a quiet giggle of amusement. The gesture reminded Callie of the fancy upper class ladies in one of the shows her father tended to watch who she found quite goofy. While Callie certainly noticed May's eyes turning a deep, dark colour she wasn't well versed in Metamorphagi yet and was subsequently unable to pinpoint May's talents. Instead Callie thought she was merely misinterpreting things thanks to her already poor eyesight.

"Abandoned toilets?" Callie questioned with a hint of curiosity slipping into her tone. Why on earth were they abandoned in the first place? Surely there had to be an intriguing story behind the derelict room and Callie was certainly interested in uncovering such a story. "I wonder why they were abandoned?" She thought out loud as she continued to pinch her wound closed. Her mind wandered for a brief moment before May's talk of a first aid kit pulled her firmly back into reality. "Oh! First aid kit? That would probably be a brilliant idea." She replied with an awkward chuckle, mildly embarrassed she was distracted by the talk of stories so easily. "Ooh! I'm one of those too! A uh, Muggle-born that is." Callie perked up as she realised a fellow muggle-born had crossed her path. Callie wasn't yet sure why being muggle-born was apparently something to be ashamed of and found the people who tried to make her ashamed of such things were rather full of themselves. "I've got magical family too! Although I didn't find out until the start of this year when Nora came to visit. The uh, head of ..uh...Slytherin! She's my cousin." Callie's rambling was quickly cut off when she realised that she was very much still bleeding and promptly moved out the way of the glass. Afterwards she waited for May to unveil the first aid kit she spoke of. "Sorry I'm rambling again! I should probably fix this..uh...problem first.."

The girl seemed exited, unlike May. May was a shy little eleven year old, while that girl couldn't stop rambling. But May seemed to like her, so she kept on helping her with her cut without being mad, or annoyed at her.
"Yeah, Abandoned Toilets. They were abandoned because of a ghost. Her name is...Moaning Myrtle." May explained to the Ravenclaw. "Umm, sorry. I didn't catch your name. But you are a Ravenclaw?" May said, looking at the Ravenclaw colours she had, all over the school uniform.

May took out her first aid kit from her bag. "This will hurt a bit..." May said, pulling out some broken glass form her injury. "You know, one day a broken glass fell into my eye. Well, little bits you see." May said, embarrassed after telling her this like an old friend.

"Oh! Really? I met a few Muggleborns, but my best friend is a pure blood. That means I knew about the magical world since I was...seven I gues." May said, smiling. She was beginning to like the girl already, tho she seemed to love talking.
"Wow. I wish I would've had a family member that worked at Hogwarts. Tho lots of my family aren't very...you know, together." May said, while she finished helping her out with the cut. She smiled at her good work, and slowly laid the first aid kit inside her school bag.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm a bit shy. But I'll get friendly sooner or later."

Callie was a loud and outgoing girl and that wasn't going to change anytime soon, even in the face of injury. While May performed first aid to solve the new wound on the palm of her hand Callie happily listened along to what she was saying before unleashing her usual tirade of words. "A ghost? Wow that's so cool! Moaning Myrtle, right? I wonder what happened to her..." Callie speculated the possibilities in her head and none of them seemed particularly pleasant. After all people who passed over to the other side peacefully didn't tend to leave ghosts let alone ghosts that wail enough to gain them the moniker of moaning. "I don't think we should call ghost busters on this one...I kinda feel sorry for her!" Callie announced with renewed certainty after deciding she had some sympathy for the ghost. After all being a ghost at Hogwarts in a bathroom that was in such a terrible state had to be a particularly awful way of existing.

"Oh! Yeah! Sorry, I'm Callie Jensen, Ravenclaw at your service! I'm still getting used to saying that last part." She admitted with a giggle and a slight smile across her face. Callie had grown to love Ravenclaw given that she had made a few good friends within her house, although tacking on her house allegiances to the end of an introduction still felt odd. Callie's babbling was cut short by the removal of the glass from her hand, prompting her to wince in pain for a brief moment before continuing. "INTO YOUR EYE?" She exclaimed in disbelief whilst staring directly at May's eyes. If glass went into her eye how did she still have two eyes? "AND YOU STILL HAVE EYES?" Callie paused for a moment and gave May a sheepish grin. "Sorry! Sorry, that was rude of me..."

Thankfully the talk of family working at Hogwarts pushed Callie away from wallowing in her own poor manners and lack of an indoor voice. Callie adored her cousin even if she didn't see her around Hogwarts nearly as much as she'd like. All her life she'd looked up to Nora and that wasn't about to change any time soon. If anything discovering of her connection to the wizarding world only served to make her even cooler in the child's eyes. "Families are weird and complicated, don't worry I get it!" Callie reassured May with an easy smile and a pat on the shoulder from her free hand. "I'm sorry about my uh...lack of an indoor voice by the way..staying quiet is hard when I get excited, you know?"

May blinked a few times at the mention of the ghost that invaded these bathrooms. Then, she remembered it. "Yeah, her name is Moaning Myrtle. she made a majestic sign with her hands and smiled at her. She was getting to know her better and feel much better in her presence. At first, May could be shy, but yet, she could be really friendly with her. She laughed at Callie's ghost buster joke. Ghost busters was a very cool but creepy muggle movie that her sister adored. "Have you seen ghost busters? Well, yeah, obviously you have, but I meant- what's your favorite movie? Muggle, I mean. I like Marvel superheroes and that kinda thing, and I always watch movies with my mom and dad. Meanwhile, I really like reading and things like that."

When Callie mentioned she was a Ravenclaw, May burst out with questions: "Really? I would've had wanted to be a Ravenclaw. In fact, I feel like one. How's it like in the common room? Do you have a starry ceiling that has golden patterns and such?" she finished bandaging her wound, and gave it a soft pat. "There ya go! Good as new!" she gave her a toothy smile and sat down on the stony floor. She didn't mind getting all dirty. She had already a lot of dirt to start to.

May almost fell backwards when Callie shrieked. "Y-yeah, I still have eyes. Well, THANK GOD! Right? I mean, imagine not having any..." she giggled happily at Callie's enthusiasm. She seemed more fun than a nerdy normal Ravenclaw to be honest.

"Yeah, I know. It isn't that bad you know."

"Moaning Myrtle? That doesn't seem like a very nice name...the moaning part! Not Myrtle, Myrtle is a nice name!" When May started talking about movies Callie's face seemed to light up with excitement as the young girl was by all accounts a movie lover. "I love movies! Me and my dad watch them all the time even if my mum would rather watch her baking shows..Ghostbusters is great but I will never stop having a deep adoration for Wolverine. Wolverine is so..cool! Marvel is pretty neat too...I'm a HUGE fan of Captain America..ooh and Thor! Did you hear about the new Thor comics where Thor is a lady? I can't wait to read them!" Callie couldn't help but ramble on about her various interests as it wasn't often she encountered someone with a similar appreciation for the art form. Some people she had encountered hadn't even seen a movie or read a comic book in their life! Callie very much pitied those people as who would willingly miss out on the brilliance of Hugh Jackman? Sad, sad souls that's who.

"I didn't really think all that much of what house I wanted to be in...but I'm glad I got Ravenclaw! Hufflepuff seems really cool though, aren't you guys near the kitchens? Man you're so lucky!" Callie looked down to her now bandaged wound with the appreciation as clear as day on her face. "Oh yeah! The common room is super cool...whats the Hufflepuff one like? I've always been curious about all of that since I don't hear much about the other houses common rooms." Callie returned May's smile gratefully and didn't seem to mind the dirt now staining her clothing in the slightest. Before she launched into another tirade of words Callie made sure to properly thank May for her help in bandaging up her injuries. "It isn't that bad? Man, I get told to be quiet so much! I think I get too excited too quickly...especially about Wolverine..but Wolverine is just so cool! You get it, right?"

"Moaning is because- I think it's because she is always crying...but the Myrtle part is her name ... When she was alive I mean." May quickly looked around to see if anybody had heard her. She didn't want the ghost to hear her talking about her dying. May was happy to hear that Callie liked movies too. May had always thought she had been the only one in all the school to like movies, even if she had been accepted in a wizarding school. She nodded, when Callie said that she liked Wolverine. "I like Wolverine too. Yeah- the Avengers and Captain America are SUPER cool too. Thor is real cool too! I haven't heard about these comics, but I'll make sure to find out about them over the summer!" May smiled absent minded, thinking about the comics she had, hidden the under her four poster under her bed.

"Yeah, the Hufflepuff common room is cool! I mean, it is full of plants, but I've grown up around plants all the time. Plants are my life! I mean, my mom is a plant fan to be honest. She has our house full of plants and all...wait, we were talking about houses- Hogwarts houses....sorry, I got carried away!" May chuckled nervously. She had caught Callie's rambling habit, even thought she was a very very shy girl. Was she growing fonder of this girl? Or was it only her imagination?

"Our common room is full of plants, like I said. There's also loads of colour in it. There are three dormitory's, I think. No-there's four...Ah, I don't remember. I think there was Wenlock Lodge-Plant Palace (I'm in it)- and the Colorful Quarters. Plant Palace is full of plants. There's a big Willow tree in the middle of the room- it's super cool. The colorful quarters are full of color things and candy bowls everywhere- I like candy, but when I signed up for a dorm, I got a bit lost..." she shook her head slowly at her own silliness.

"I've got a few Wolverine comics in the common room! The thing is. I'm a bit shy to let them out 'cause I think people would make fun of me because I'm a very Muggle like...I really like Charms class tho. It's just cool.". First she was talking of superheroes. Then she was talking of Charms class. Could this badger get more lost?
