Making Friends Closed

After stumbling out of her new dormetry, reality set in on Alessandria "I'm a Hufflepuff..." She frowned to herself, the words sinking in as she thought of her families reaction to being anything other than a Slytherin, her mother's face etched into her mind, the disappointed expression she so often wore was filling her mind.

She hadn't even been watching where she was going, mindlessly walking down the hallway as she pondered on her thoughts, she looked up finally, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she had no idea where she was.
"I don't know where I'm going from here. But I can promise you, it wont be boring"

Christy was wandering the halls, slowly taking in her new surroundings. "I don't even know what any of this means... What's a Hufflepuff anyway? I wish they'd been clearer about what everything menat... I wish I could make a friend who could help me..." She continued to wander the halls and eventually realized she had no idea where she was. She looked around and decided to rush down the hallway she saw first in hopes she'd recognize something. She was hurrying so much from her nerves that she didn't notice - "Oh no! I'm so sorry I didn't see you!" She had run directly into another student as she was trying to find her way. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry! I'm lost, and I got nervous, so I rushed down this hallway, and I didn't see anyone else, I'm so sorry!"

Alessandria looked up, startled as she stumbled back slightly, she smiles small at the girl who had bumped into her "Its okay, really, I wasn't watching where I was going" She looked around before her eyes landed fully on the girl "...a Hufflepuff?" She asks hopeful, maybe she would have one friend in her house.
"I don't know where I'm going from here. But I can promise you, it wont be boring"

Christy looked down at her now coloured robes, forgetting that they identified her house. She looked at the other girl's robes and noticed they were the same as her own. Her face lit up as she smiled for the first time since she came to this school. "Yeah! You are too? Oh, that's wonderful! I haven't really worked up the nerve to introduce myself to anyone yet. I guess it's a good thing I bumped into you, then." She was ecstatic to have finally met someone here. Being a muggle-born was really difficult since they didn't really have any idea what was going on still. "Oh shoot, I hope I didn't freak her out by being so excited..." she thought as her face dropped quickly to the floor as her face flushed bright red. She glanced up at the girl nervously, waiting for a hopefully friendly response.

She continued to stare at the girl, her expression kind and inviting as she smiled again, sticking her hand out "Alessandria Gray" She greeted, her voice bubbly as she blew a stray strand of hair from in front of her glasses "Excuse me if I seem dumb, this is my first day" She laughed lightly, noticing the girls blush.
"I don't know where I'm going from here. But I can promise you, it wont be boring"

She looked up and giggled a little, noticing the girl trying to make her feel better. Chrsity reached out her hand and introduced herself: "I'm Christy Blake. Don't worry, I probably sound more dumb - I'm a muggle-born too. I don't know anything about this place. By the way, what is a Hufflepuff?" she asked, not worrying for once if she sounded ridiculous or not. She feels like she's finally met someone who she can be friends with. "Maybe this place isn't as scary as I thought..." she thought to herself as she smiled at her new friend.

She shook Christy's hand, the smile on Alessandria's face faltered as she heard the words that her family had trained her to be repulsed by; Muggle-born. She shook the feeling off, if she was going to be the first Hufflepuff in her family, she would be the first to accept others as well. "Its our house, there are four of them.." She trailed off, looking around "Do you know exactly.. where we are? I'm completely lost" She scratched the back of her neck as she looked at the other Hufflepuff girl.
"I don't know where I'm going from here. But I can promise you, it wont be boring"

Christy saw Alessandira's face change, so she asked, "Are you alright? You seem uncomfortab;e? Did I do something wrong?" She was worried she'd just scared off the only friend she'd made so far here.

She answered the girl's question, "Actually, no, I was lost too when I bumped into you. I got kind of scared of being alone in the dark hallways, so I started to run down the first hallway I noticed. That's when I ran into you." Christy looked down both ways of the dark hallway nervously.

She shook her head "No, no" She smiled "I'm okay, anyway, let's just find a way...somewhere" She laughed and hooked her arm with the girls arm, hoping that she made an official new friend.
"I don't know where I'm going from here. But I can promise you, it wont be boring"

Christy didn't realize she was holding her breath from nerves until she let out a sigh of relief that she hadn't offended the other girl. She looked at her new friend and smiled her widest smile and started pulling the girl down the hallway she came from. "I came from this way and I think I might be able to retrace my steps." Hopefully she had been paying enough attention instead of being lost in her own thoughts when she got lost. Though, now that she had found this newfound friend, she felt more confident in herself and seemed to recognize the next hallway we started down. "Hey! I've been down this hallway, I'm sure of it!" She became even more excited as she felt like she was headed down the right path.
