I Double-Dog Dare You
Benji and Lettie had finished their exams earlier in the week and found themselves time without homework or the need to study. Benji was relieved to be done with his exams and even more happy that he had a few days off from homework. It had been a tough few weeks of studying and Benji was ready to do something fun. After meeting up at breakfast in the great hall, the pair strode down the small hall brainstorming things they could do for the day. It looked like others might be doing the same thing, as a few small groups congregated the corridor, not very engaged in one particular activity. Benji and Lettie sat down in an area across from one of the other groups.
Benji looked up to the ceiling, where an enchanted painting stared back at him with a knight in the mural waving gallantly to him as if to join him on an adventure. Benji half-waved back to the knight and then became very self-aware and wondered if Lettie had seen him. No comments or remarks, I don’t think she noticed Benji thought, slightly embarrassed thinking that if she were to look up now, it would like like he was waving at nothing as the knight was long gone!
Benji looked towards Lettie now, growing inpatient as the day began to waste away, and exclaimed “I’m bored!!!”. He grinned slightly at her and said “Let’s do something fun! Maybe something we haven’t done before, or haven't done in a long time!”.
”Like what?” Lettie said, placing down her book.
”Um.. I don’t know?” Benji ran his fingers through his messy brown hair.
The truth, is he had literally no idea what he wanted to do, he just wanted to do something. He looked back over at the passing students and suddenly got an idea.
”Oh, I know!” he grinned. ”Remember how we used to play Truth or Dare with Ollie and Thomas?” He could see the understanding dawn on Lettie’s face, but he kept talking before she had a chance to object. ”How fun would that be to play that here at Hogwarts?”

I Double-Dog Dare You
Lettie was glad to have some time to be able to spend with Benji, but she was starting to get a bit restless. Without any schoolwork to do and The Dueling Chamber closed, she was starting to lose her purpose. Her life at Hogwarts had been so consumed with studying and homework up until this point, that she really wasn’t sure what to do with her free time anymore.
With no real task to occupy her mind, Lettie had been spending most of her days reading Hogwarts, A History to try and pass the time. That’s what she was doing now, before she was rudely interrupted by her brown-haired friend.
Benji went on about how bored he was, and Lettie couldn’t help but roll her eyes. ”We can’t play truth or dare, Benji. It’s for children, and besides, there’s only the two of us.”
Lettie was a tough cookie, but she was mistaken if she thought Benji was going to give up that easy. ”There won’t be just the two of us if you ask some of the students passing by to play.” He grinned mischievously.
Lettie raised an eyebrow. “And why would I do that?” she shook her head disapprovingly. ”Why don’t you go read a book, or something. That’s way more productive, and more mature, than playing truth or dare.” Lettie scoffed and threw him her book bag, hoping he would find something nice to choose from and stop talking to her. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.
Benji closed her book and set it aside before flashing a winning smile. ”I double-dog dare you to go ask someone to play truth or dare with us.”
”HEY!” Lettie exclaimed, frantically grabbing her book back and flipping through the pages. “Ugh, Benji!! You made me lose my spot!” She glared at him.
The boy just shrugged and nodded his head in the direction of the busy corridor. ”Guess that means you have no choice but to ask them now.” He smirked, handing her back her book bag and crossing his arms in triumph.
Lettie pursed her lips and shook her head at him defiantly. She knew it was no use, and that Benji would absolutely not drop it until she went and asked someone to play truth or dare with them. The boy seemed absolutely intent on reliving their childhood or something.
Feeling exceedingly bothered, Lettie all but slammed her hands down on the table and stood up abruptly. “Fine. But when they mock the Merlin out of us and refuse to join us, we are going back to reading.”
The ginger-haired girl stomped over to the corridor with a scowl on her face. She began to feel a bit embarrassed, and turned back to look at Benji with flushed cheeks for encouragement. She definitely couldn’t chicken out now; he would never let her hear the end of it. Besides, it was a double-dog dare. Everyone knew that you don’t back down from those.
”Excuse me,” she waived at the first person she saw, adopting a sweet smile. "My friend and I, we were hoping to play a game of Truth or Dare. Would you care to join?” She felt like a complete moron.

I Double-Dog Dare You
Parcel walked down the crowded corridor. It didn’t really surprise him much anymore that it was this crowded. He had just finished breakfast and right now the whole corridor was bustling with students going to and from.
There where statues of knights standing guard by each side of the doors heading of to the halls and rooms around. Most times Parcel would stop and stare at them, or at least wonder if they could move, or maybe if they are sentient, like some gargoyles. But today was not one of these days, today was a day he didn’t pay much attention to it at all, why? Well, he was bored.
Most days he would have something to do, either a school activity, or if nothing else then maybe a class, but nothing was scheduled for today. “AAAH, the pain! What would a lonesome boy of eleven do on a day like this?!”
Parcel was so much in his own thoughts that he almost didn’t notice the ghost coming towards him. When he saw it, he made a hard turn sideways and nearly walked into the wall in an attempt to avoid it.
Having avoided the ghost by a hairsbreadth he let out a relived sigh and straightened his shirtsleeves. Looking back at which ghost it was he couldn’t help but to show a frown, “That darn Bloody Baron never care about where he floats!”
Parcel really, really hated the coldness you would feel if a ghost passed through. And this was certainly not the first time he had almost run into that boisterous Baron.
Beginning to walk again, albeit with a slightly darker expression, he couldn’t help but hear someone speak up. In the midst of everyone walking to their destinations, it was really easy to pick up a lone voice.
“Gosh darn it, is it someone that are going to make fun of me for trying to avoid that Bloody ghost?”
Looking up, Parcel saw a redhaired girl waving.
Swallowing down his own uncertainness Parcel walked up to the redhaired girl.
“Umm, is it me you are talking to? I don’t actually know what Truth or Dare is… But I guess I can try it if it is a game.”
Having been almost solely in and around the wizarding community he came from he had never heard of such a game before.
Parcel was using his index finger to scratch a scar he had on his face, a bit shy, as he was speaking. Looking into the small hall he noticed a boy looking straight at them, with a bit of an amused expression. It wasn’t super noticeable, but it stood out a bit from most of the other children there.
“I take it that’s another player?”
Parcel started walking a bit timidly over to where it seemed like they were supposed to sit.
“I’m Paracelsus by the way, but you can call me whatever you like, Paracelsus is a bit too long I think”
He had never really liked his own name, named after a great wizard or not, when it took as long a time as it did to spell his name. Then it wasn’t really worth it.

Parcel’s first thought was to look around to see who reacted. It nearly seemed like the girl was speaking to him, but there where quite a lot of students in the corridor and Parcel didn’t know the girl. Noticing that no one else in the corridor seemed to react to what she was saying then… “then perhaps she was speaking to him? Wasn’t that a bit weird… who speaks out to a lot of strangers in a corridor?... But game? Then, perhaps..” Looking back to where the girl was standing Parcel came to think of how he really didn’t have anything to do today and that he quite frankly was really bored.”Excuse me, my friend and I, we were hoping to play a game of Truth or Dare. I Double-Dog Dare You
It was one of the boring days of the weekend when the young Hogwarts student had nothing to do. She wasn’t sure if she was allowed to go down to daigon alley at all. Aurelia knew that some students - mostly the ones of older years - went there during days like these. It had been long since she last visited to diagon alley and she remembered she had to take a 5 hours train ride in order to get there, she certainly didn’t want to waste her time there.
She had already explored almost every corner of the old castle and it didn’t seem like there was anything else interesting which she could do. Aurelia decided that she should head back to her dormitory at the Gryffindor tower and sleep the whole weekend off since she had nothing better to do.
“Truth or dare is extremely simple.” Aurelia claimed. Shesilently prayed in her small mind that her presence would be welcomed. It would be embarrassing for the eleven year old if she were to be dismissed.
“You’d be given two options, truth or dare. If you pick truth, you’d be asked a question and it is compulsory that you answer it no matter how drastic it becomes. If you chose the following, you’d be asked to do something, and it too, will be compulsory to be done.” The girl proudly explain. in her previous school, a muggle school in the town of Cheshire, she had seen other kids played it among themselves but the young girl never got to join them. Maybe she would get to play.
“Hey, I remember you, you’re the guy at the Gryffindor party.” Aurelia said, though she knew she’s saw him somewhere either than the party.

A voice echoed down the hall. There were three students gathered at a corner of the corridor. Her eyes lit up when they heard the phrase ‘truth or dare’. The brunette strode towards them hastenly, hoping that she could join in the fun.My friend and I, we were hoping to play a game of Truth or Dare. Would you care to join?
Spoke the boy who had been given the offer to play. He looked vaguely familiar. She knew the girl standing among the two boys, Lettie, if she remembered her name correctly. Colette had joined Aurelia to learn how to throw knives at the grounds. She had also joined them in the pick up game of quidditch a week ago. The other boy whom Lettie said was her Friend, also looked familiar, maybe he was also involved in the quidditch match, there were to many player on the field that day, she couldn’t possibly remember everyone of their faces.I don’t actually know what Truth or Dare is… But I guess I can try it if it is a game.
