Aura walked into the small hall early in the morning. She was overdressed for the fine weather, but bursting with energy. Sweat trickled down her covered leg. She was a bubbly girl, yet had already made an enemy, and scarcely a true friend of hers was to be found in all of the castle. People liked her, but no one was close with her. But today she would meet someone, Aura felt it. A smile spread from ear to ear, and her eyes green eyes sparkled intensely. A silver hoop adorned each ear, matching the chains that hung around her neck and wrist. Making her way deeper into the hall, she shifted herself into a position so that any student would see her clearly when they entered the hall. Her joy faded as student after student passed the bright girl, barely showing any sign that they even cared to know why she was blocking off a portion of the hall. Tears clung to the back of her eyes and she started to shrink. Her smile replaced with a nervous countenance, Aura shuffled towards the right most wall of the small room. Sitting down, she pulled herself in to a tight ball.

It is still too early for Cassie to be lost around the Castle and yet there they are lost for the umpteenth in this big castle. At some point might as well live and never come back home since I often times lost, Cassie deep in their thought. Cassie remembered almost all the room they been entered except this room.

Upon entering the room, Cassie look up. In the ceiling there is large chandelier that hung above the fireplace and just like the rest of this school, it is enchanted. The fire that being lit from the candle lit and give nice ambience to the room. Finally it clicked in Cassie's head. To go through the Great Hall this is the room they need to passed through and often times people did not realize it and that is including themself.

When Cassie paid attention to the room surrounding, some students that in the room know each other except one person. The person now look small and Cassie feel a bit bad for that person. Cassie walks to the person. Now their vision as been cleared, they see the person sitting down and pulling tight to herself like she trying to protect herself.

"You okay, lass?"Cassie inquires the girl with their thick Spanish accent. The concern tone can be heard in their voice. Cassie knitted their eyebrows and waiting for the girl to acknowledge them.

My God, Hogwarts was a gigantic place. The walls loomed high above their head and the hallways seemed to go on forever. They were comfortable with the Ravenclaw Common Room, the dorms, and... well, basically nothing else.

After successfully coming down to the courtyard, avoiding breakfast, and wandering around for a good amount of the morning, Mars had stumbled into what they thought was the Small Hall. A fire roared, inset into one of the walls, the only sources of light in the dimly lit room. Golden frames covered the other walls, each with a figure painted in painstaking detail. Mars felt oddly like their eyes were following them.

Shaking the feeling, they studied the flood of students coming and going. Most streamed through the doors to a larger room—the Great Hall, they believed. A couple of them chatted in small groups, others carried armfuls of books, stalking with an air of purpose through the space. Mars didn't have much to do.

Their eyes caught on a pair of wixes; one seemed to be curled into a ball on the floor and the other attempting to cheer her up. Curious, Mars walked over to them. The standing wix had a look of concern on their face. They looked—familiar, but Mars couldn't put a finger on it. Probably just a face seen in a passing fever dream.

Mars caught the wix asking if the other was alright. They couldn't help but butt in as well.

"Yeah, are you alright? You might not want to curl on the ground like that, someone might step on you."

[ Home, they said. I should like to go home. ]
