Lizzie raced down to the edge of the lake, her bags rattling with the beat of her run. ”Finally I’m here” she sighed with relief. As she placed her bags down she checked if the coast was clear to start unpacking for the night she dreaded the thought of being catch before it the fun had even began

As the sun started to set over the lake the light bursted a crossed the lake she started to attempt to set up camp before Anastasia arrived ”oh god, how does this work.....so this goes in there” she complained ”YES I DID IT” she yelled to herself whacking the tent down as she spoke. Her face when blank with defeat ”stupid tent” she whispered to herself kicked the tent at the same time.

As she sat down next to the wreckage of the tent she looked back at the castle. suddenly a shadow appeared running towards her with a bunch of bags by her side. ”ANASTASIA” she yelled while throwing her arms up in the air, waving them around crazily ”OVER HERE” still yelling at her friend to hurry up. Still trying to stop her self from breaking down in laughter at her friend

Anastasia was so excited. She and her friend Lizzie had planned the best night ever. They would be camping next to the great lake, roasting marshmallows and telling stories. Oh and of course she would over pack her bag with many fluffy blankets and food galore. Ever since they had planned it she had had a huge cheery smile planted across her face.

Dragging the huge bag across the grass towards where Anastasia could see that Lizzie had failed to put up the large tent. She squealed with delight. What fun! She thought happily. She started running towards her friend eager to help. She saw her friend turn around and scream, ”ANASTASIA” She threw her arms up into the air. ”OVER HERE” Anastasia burst into laughter watching how ridiculous her friend looked.

After reaching the site she fell down onto the sad looking tent. She burst out laughing at her friends fails. This girl needs help! she thought, considering saying it out loud.

Anastasia struggled to get up because of the weight of the bag underneath her. She slipped her arms out of the straps and stood up. "It's starting to get dark, let's put up the tent," She attempted to lift up the material that had poles stuck inside it. She giggled and pulled at the poles. They clicked securely into place. "Come and help me!" She giggled looking at Lizzie who was still laying in the grass.

Haya was excited for tonight because one of her friends Anastasia had invited her to a camp out by the Great Lake. She loved camping and roasting marshmallows over a fire. She packed a bag full of pillows and and bags of marshmallows because she knew that Anastasia would bring blankets and food.

Haya waited until the sky started going dark before she headed out towards the camp site. When she reached the location of her friends it was starting to get dark. Anastasia was putting up the tent and it was cold and hard to see. Hey guys! she said happily. I'll start the fire.

Haya piled some rocks and stones in a large circle to contain the fire. She piled old newspapers and pieces of wood in the middle. Haya zipped open her bag and pulled out a pack of matches. Stricking the match on the box a small orange flame danced in the dark. She smiled and threw it on top of the pile. The once brown newspaper, shriveled up and turned into a black pile of ash. Hays's body warmed up and she could finally see. Wiping her hands together she announced proudly, All done!

She waited patiently for Anastasia to finishputting up the tent so that she could fill it up with piles of blankets and pillows and food creating a cute little nest for them to stay in.

As Anastasia reached the spot of the camp Lizzie could see the sear disappointment in her eyes, Lizzie Rolled her Eyes at her friend still laughing from earlier events. The spot they had chosen to camp at was beautiful it was right beside the lake with the sun glistening off it lizzie smiles at this.

Lizzie watched her friend take off her bags and start to open them carefully like they were going to explode "It's starting to get dark, let's put up the tent," Anastasia said while struggling to lift up the material that had poles stuck inside it. , lizzie laughed at this her friend laughing along with her as the poles clicked into place "Come and help me!" her friend cheerfully complained ”fine I guess I should help you” lizzie replied sarcastically while jumping up to help her but was stopped by a unfamiliar voice

”Hey guys” a cheerful looking girl said. Lizzie turned to Anastasia raising a eyebrow at her ”Who is she?” Lizzie mouthed to Anastasia ”i'll start the fire” the girl spoke again before walking off to create a circle of stones. Lizzie turned back to the tent that was refusing to be put up ”Why couldn’t they have taught us a tent building spell” Lizzie complained loudly ”all done” the unknown girl said, as Lizzie turned around she saw a medium height fire perfect for roasting the marshmallows she had borrowed

Lizzie walked up to the girl patting her on the shoulder ”Hi I’m Elizabeth but you can call me lizzie” she spoke ”and you are?”

Haya was very proud of herself for making a fire without magic, which is one of the perks of have a muggle parent because when they go camping she enjoys igniting a fire for them to roast marshmallows on and tell scary and funny stories around.

One of the girls, Lizzie who Haya had seen a few times before came up to her side and patted her kindly on the shoulder. ”Hi I’m Elizabeth but you can call me Lizzie, and you are?” Haya smiled and replied politely, "I'm Haya Grace, nice to meet you!" Haya held out her hand and firmly shook Lizzie's. Haya already knew Isabella quite well considering she was one of the Slytherin prefects but she also considered her as a friend. Hopefully she would be able to call Lizzie and whoever else was coming a friend as well.

Haya noticed that although the fire was warming up their area, it was still beginning to get cold. She sat next to the lake and watched as the giant squid glided majestically across the surface of the lake. She smiled at it.

Haya breathed in the sweet scent of the summer night air that was riddled with nice smelling flowers and the pine needles from pine trees. She lay on her back and stared thoughtfully at the beautiful stars twinkling in the sky.

Anastasia hammered the last peg into the ground with the fat rubber mallet. Haya had finished the fire and she could see her laying at the edge of the lake staring up at the stars.

Anastasia unzipped her huge bag and pulled out a huge fluffy blanket that was far bigger than her and could definitely fill up their tent. She carelessly threw it into the tent and flopped down on top of it pushing her face into the soft fluff that lined it. Pillows were strewn out across the area tent. Bags of food and candy were still laying in the bottom of her bag as her stomach rumbled from putting up the tent.

Sitting up she reached forward and tugged her bag inside the tent with her. She reached her hand deep inside and pulled out a small packet. She ripped it open and a pink and orange sugar quill fell out. "Hmm, my favourite!" She said licking her lips hungrily and bursting into an uncontrollable fit of laughter.

Anastasia nibbled at the edges of the quill waiting for her friends to come and join her in the feast of sweet treats. "Lizzieeeee, Hayaaaaa." she called to her friends. "Come and join me," she insisted waiting for her friends to lay next to her in the tent.

The sounds of chatter and some laughter caught Sebastian's attention. He had been walking by, a little distance away, returning to the castle, when he heard them. Curious, the Slytherin made his way to the small glowing fire, and was greeted with the sight of a camp. The oddity of seeing a tent quite literally in the middle of nowhere, near the lake, was mind boggling. And with a raised eyebrow, Sebastian walked over to the group of girls and cleared his throat...

"Hi there," He said, stepping out of the darkness somewhat. He wore his coat opened over the school uniform, but the prefect badge was visible on his chest. "I was on the way back to the castle, and saw you had setup a... well, a campsite."

The smell of candy, burning wood, the smoke, and the nearby water were pleasant. Still, Sebastian was mildly confused by the scene and decided to take a moment to find out why, if only to understand the reasoning for being out of the castle so late at night when all manner of creatures could be prowling in the darkness...

"Sorry, I'm Sebastian," The Slytherin said, smiling. "You do realize there's a reason for sleeping in the castle, right? The creatures in the forest, the monsters and merpeople in the lake, not to mention the rumors of the masked man roaming around hurting students... aren't you worried about that?"

Sebastian waited, hands in pockets, as he glanced around. He didn't expect anything to happen, but it was always better to be aware than caught unawares. Not that he could see much beyond the fire, though.

"Nice assortment of candies," He mused, nodding. "I'm impressed."

Anastasia had her mouth full of different assortments of candy that she had pulled out from her bag. She was giggling uncontrollably. Her eyes were watering and she was having the time of her life.

"Hi there," Said a voice behind her. Her face turned red and she spun around. "I was on the way back to the castle, and saw you had setup a... well, a campsite."
He said. All Anastasia could say was, "Oh!" To her surprise, he boy who she knew was Sebastian, was standing next to their tent. She saw his prefect badge sitting neatly on his chest.

"Sorry, I'm Sebastian, you do realise there's a reason for sleeping in the castle, right? The creatures in the forest, the monsters and merpeople in the lake, not to mention the rumours of the masked man roaming around hurting students... aren't you worried about that?" He said. Anastasia was speechless she hadn't quite thought about any of that.

Anastasia contemplated the situation in her head and just waited for someone to say something. She looked around at her friends but when no one did, she turned her attention back to Sebastian.

Nobody spoke for then next few minutes until finally he said, "Nice assortment of candies, I'm impressed." This had done it thought Anastasia. Her cheeks flushed and she rolled onto her back on the nest of blankets and burst out with laughter and giggles. She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down and then replied, "Thanks, do you want to join in?" She smiled politely in his direction.

Leola walked down towards the lake as the sun set across it giving it a beautiful red glow. The cold night air whipped at her face as she carried her bag down to the lake. She was so excited to be camping, especially with some of her closest friends.

She saw a fire flickering in the distance and started running. A smile spread across her face as her friends came into view along with another girl that she hadn't meet before and a boy.  Leola laughed to herself as she got closer. It looked like they were getting told of by the Slytherin prefect. She reached the campsite and heard Anastasia offering the boy if he wanted to join them she laughed again.

"Excuse me, oh sorry"  She said squeezing past the prefect and lying down next to Anastasia while helping herself to some candy.  "Hello." She said to the prefect "Lovely night for camping isn't it"  She said a grin spreading across her face.  "Oh i don't think we have meet either i'm Leola nice to meet you" She said turning to face the new girl. She hoped the prefect wasn't going to make them go back inside she had been looking forward to this night for ages.

Anastasia rolled backwards on the blanket onto her knees and then stood up awkwardly. She smiled at Sebastian and Leola then walked away to go and lay down next to her friend Haya who was laying on the grass by the Great Lake.

She went and lied down on the grass and stared up and the gorgeous sky with its amazing, beautiful, twinkling stars that were dancing around the empty night sky. Surprisingly the night was really calm and there was no wind at all. The only movement was the great squid swimming in the lake, Leola and Sebastian standing at the tent and her and Haya's chests moving up and down as they breathed. Ha ha! she giggled entertained. She had left Leola all alone with Sebastian.

Anastasia breathed in the sweet summer air taking in the soothing essence and wishing that this night would last forever. Her stomach rumbled and she sat up. She turned her attention to Haya who was still laying peacefully on the grass next to her. "Do you want to come with me and start roasting the marshmallows on the fire?" She said her sweetly. Her stomach rumbled yet again and she giggled happily.
