Fantasy vs Reality Pv Wes Hart Closed

Dawn leaned back onto her arms and crossed one leg over the other as she closed her eyes, feeling the dread slip away. She felt the soft breeze lift strands of her hair and whip her face lightly. With her eyes closed, she could sense more than she would with her eyes open. She seemed to slowly slip away into the peace that surrounded her, feeling the green grass underneath her hand. It would appear to anyone that she was drifting between fantasy and reality.

Her imagination being her better trait than socializing at the moment, she pictured what it would feel like to be a cat. She knew that it was possible to achieve that by becoming an Animagus, but that would acquire a great amount of skills, practice and patients.  Which I don't have. A bit of laughter drifted along with the wind, soon reaching Dawn's ears and disturbed her thoughts. She whipped her head back, slightly tilted and spotted a group of friends passing by in the distance, laughing about something.

Dawn smiled remembering Kyle, back at home and wondered what he was up to with his partner in crime being more than 600 miles away. Her smile faltered at the possibility that he had found a friend to replace her. She turned back to the lake and observed the sparkling water, so beautiful that it could blind her. Her book was placed beside her but she had read it 3 times already, as she was so captivated by the myth and had memorized a few lines.  She felt the need to do something interesting or adventurous so dominant, especially with the likelihood of what shall not be named. She leaned forward, dropping down on the grass nearer the lake and slipped her finger into the water, twirling it around a bit, causing ripples to break out.
