Weekends were the best time of the week. The Saturday was boring, but on Sundays Sabrina always had plans. These plans were never-changing for the time being, and so whenever Sunday rolled around, one could bet their last penny that the red haired girl would be down by the tree by the Great Lake long before the meeting time. This time, though, she happened to be running later than she expected. Her dormmates had held her up, frantic over the fact that Sabrina had admitted how she actually felt to her best friend. She didn't see the big deal of it, but apparently they did.
This was definitely one of the reasons that Sabrina didn't understand girls. Even if she was one, she would probably never end up understanding them. Not unless she became like the girls in her dorm, anyway, and at this rate Sabrina was completely fine with being herself, and keeping to herself for that matter. She had set the mindset that she would come to Hogwarts and make a ton of new friends, but so far Sabrina had only made a few. That could be because of Reid, though.
Bursting out of the castle's doors that lead out to the Great Lake, Sabrina was close to taking off in a sprint to the tree by the Great Lake that was the spot her and Reid met up at regularly. Not having classes together made them lose a lot of time, and so this was their salvation, of sorts. She didn't want to be the second one there that time. She had been doing so well at getting there every time before Reid did. It was a success of sorts, at least that's how Sabrina felt about it.
Speed-walking was at least one of her talents, though. Actually, now that she thought about it, athletics in general was something she happened to be rather good with. She had gotten on the Quidditch team, and that was something that she needed to tell Reid about even still. The first game would be coming up soon, and without a doubt, Sabrina wanted him to attend. Even if she messed up a lot in the game, his support was kind of encouraging.
When the redheaded girl approached the tree, she was surprised to see someone leaning against it. This person wasn't Reid though, so unfortunately, she didn't get the privilege of calling them 'loser', or something of the sort. That would surely come at one point, though. "Uh," Sabrina stuttered, furrowing her eyebrows together. She hadn't quite seen this student out and about yet. He was a Slytherin from what Sabrina could tell, and that was just judging by one of the green things she could see him with. "Hi?"
Oh, great Sabrina. Couldn't be any more awkward. It was only in relatively new social situations that this kind of thing seemed to happen. First, she gets irritated and snappy with one of her ex-dorm mates, then she fell on her back in front of another guy she met earlier that week, and now she couldn't get out more than one syllable at a time. It was safe to declare that socializing just simply was not Sabrina's strong suit. Hopefully, at some point, this would change. But it was more than obvious at the time that it wasn't going to be any time soon.

Coming to Hogwarts was a dream come true for Bellamy when he stepped off that train, for all he wanted to do as a kid was to learn magic. Although so far being a first year at Hogwarts has been a rough start for him.
To begin with he got placed into house Slytherin, a house that he thought he never be in, as his parents were proud Ravenclaws and Gryffindors but unfortunately he wasn't That surprised him and then he got separated from his little sister as well since she got placed into house Ravenclaw, the very house he assumed he be in. This stunned him badly than he actually thought it would being that Bellamy always imagined he would be with his sister like when they were little but that wasn't the case. The feeling worsened even more when his sister got placed into the very house he hoped he to get put in. He was for the first time in his life alone, by himself with no one he around him he knew. He didn't have any friends as he never made a friend to begin with. He always had his sister to bother him and keep him company. Bellamy didn't mind her presence at all, why would he, she was family. Surely enough he wasn't going to be completely alone; his sister was just in a different house, it wasn’t like he couldn’t visit her or she couldn’t visit him it's just for that particular moment that's what it felt for like him, isolation.
Yet despite all this change he was fine with this. This wouldn't alter his decisions, and it wouldn't encourage him to find a friend. Nevertheless, he thought of it as one of those stepping stones to growing up that his father always talked about before he left for Hogwarts. Admittedly Bellamy barely listen to all of what his father had said but that particular part stuck with him. As of before and now throughout his stay at Hogwarts, he still had a stressful week adjusting to the school grounds as he's got lost in every area in school you can imagine possible. To the ever-changing stairs he lost his way about four times on separate days, To losing his way to his classes that happened five times, and then Bellamy had to ask two times for directions where the Boys Lavatory was. It was humiliating for him.
Every day for him that first week was draining. Furthermore, he couldn't wait for the week to end, two more days he had to endure new little dilemmas he somehow he constantly experienced. On the last day he rushed to his dorm room to drop anything he didn’t need on him, books, a robe, tools, anything really to loosen the load he had to drag with him throughout the week. Once he was finished Bellamy then left the Boys Dormitory with just wearing a black vest, a green stripe tie, black pants, a personal item that never leaves his side and just a book in his hands, to be precise the book of “The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection”, his personal favorite out of the other textbooks he had to read. By the end of the week, Bellamy was glad it was over as he could relax as he always has.
Finding a comfortable place to relax became an entertaining quest for him, as he got to take the time going around just peacefully wandering the grounds. Finally while exiting one of the entrances, unconcerned of where he was, he stumbles upon a beautiful site that he somehow missed in this humongous school. It was the Great Lake, a breathtaking location he was glad he found in a weekend. He swiftly speed-walked towards the lake and while making his way he found this particular tree near the lake pleasing to sit at while he read his textbook and basked into the glory of the mesmerizing lakes atmosphere. When he reaches the tree he spent a good, solid hour just reading the book he brought with him. While there he put down the textbook for just two minutes to look towards the lake in peace. Within those minutes he was almost about to past out until he heard someone say “Hi.” Lazily lifting his eyes up Bellamy spots this girl looking at him. Passively he takes about a swift twenty seconds glancing over her. Looking at key details to help him identify this person, to know if he knew her from somewhere he may of visited. At the end of his conclusion, he finally had his answer. He completely and utterly and most certainly did not know this girl at all, not one thing came to mind. The only things that stuck out to him was her gleaming, brunette hair along with a few red attire she had on. From this his quick assumption was that she was a Gryffindor, obviously excluding the fact her hair was a shiny brown. In the end Bellamy unconcernedly with his eyes squinting slightly, answered back “Hello?”

It was normal that he was late, it was kind of his thing. Reid didn't necessarily like being tardy but he was someone who wasn't the best with time management. Much of his time since September was wandering and getting lost, now it was just a lot of wandering if anything. He had been trying to finish up his schoolwork for once, it wouldn't do him any good if he fell behind on his studies after all. It would have caused him, a lot of headache and he would probably end up with less time to spend doing things such as hanging out with Sabrina.
Yet it didn't occur to him how hard it was for him to study alone and without the guidance of his good Ravenclaw friends. He relied on them too much, but he thankfully took away some good few techniques to work efficiently. Yet today didn't seem like one of those good days where he put his knowledge to use. He had lost track of time and missed his mark, maybe Sabrina wouldn't mind it so much and she could forgive him. Down the steps and across the way, the disheveled boy in a messy uniform strode across the grounds like a madman.
He nearly tripped across the way over some rock, letting a hiss slip from his lips. The evergreen hues fell on the brunette girl's figure from a mile away, she wasn't that hard to spot but it was a struggle every now and then. "Sab!" he called. The stride slowed to a slow walk as he realized she was talking to someone. Who was at the tree? Of all the trees they chose, it was this one too. There were plenty of other ones to sit at, but perhaps the roll of the dice simply lead this stranger to this one.
As he got closer, he saw who the person finally was - a Slytherin boy. Unlike how the two greeted each other, Reid opted out to be a little louder. A cheeky grin slipped onto his features, "Hey!" Was he Sabrina's friend? He didn't know, he rarely saw the girl much nowadays. Her social circle and his own was different, if he could even call his a circle at all. He had some longstanding stereotypes about Slytherin house, yet he did his best to not assume too much about the boy.
Reid made himself known and stood within the brunette boy's view. His hand slipped into his pocket and gestured towards him, "You should have told me you were bringing someone, I would have brought food. Two's a crowd and three's a party after all." It was more of a sincere joke, but he could go for a bite to eat.
"Trouble usually finds me."
