Pranking Catastrophe Finished

Lucy bit her lip, torn between her desire to stay out of trouble and her incessant need to make friends with every person that she met. She slowly smiled up at the girl. "Friends," she said decidedly, brushing herself off and standing up. "But I'm not going to prank anyone. Well, I will do some light pranking, but I'm pretty sure dungbombs could get us in serious trouble."

She paused, realising based on the sun position what time of day it was. Her stomach rumbled in agreement. "Well, I think it's about time for me to eat dinner. I have a big day tomorrow, and if I'm not well-fed, things don't go well. It's seriously weird. If I miss a meal, I'm basically dead the next day. So I have to make sure that I get to every meal if I want to function."

She grinned brightly at Sophie. "Do you want to walk back with me, or are you going to continue your... ah... adventures here, by the lake?" she looked over Sophie's shoulder at the bag nearly bursting with dungbombs. She wrinkled her nose, imagining how bad it would smell if all of those bombs were set off at one time.

Sophie shrugged, her prank might as well have been foiled, and Sophie somehow knew It would happen. "Nah, Detention most likely, but nothing major,- or at least, nothing major I've experienced. The professors are all mad at me for pranking and stuff, but I've never been expelled, or something like that. Ever heard of the Weasley twins? They're basically my idols. Anyway, they did this huuuge prank in their last year, where like, they set off these Fireworks, It was Awesome! And besides, Its getting late, I can't have some late-night prefect patrol coming out and busting me, I almost, almost got caught from Eris, she's a Gryffindor prefect. I was coming back to the common room from a duel, and she asked why I was gone, I lied and said I was asking a professor for help, she didn't push on, but we share a dorm, so I don't know how long my story will last." Sophie shrugged, rambling on. She was always a talker when it came to people she knew and well-liked. But when she barely knew someone, or hated them, she barely spoke, whether hoping to use her wand, or get them away from her, nobody, not even the girl herself really knew. 
The sound of getting dinner was pretty good. Sophie was hungry, but her friend Aliea was always late to dinner, meaning she'd have to sit alone at the table, with a lot of people she didn't know. Of course, Sophie knew a lot of Gryffindors, but she did have a habit of making friends from other houses, meaning in house activites, Sophie either did them alone, or not at all. But she was a writer for Gryffindor, so some people, perhaps fellow writers, might want to talk to her and be friends.
"Yeah sure, just give me a minute to get my stuff." Sophie said quickly, as she grabbed her bag, and stuffing the items from her failed prank into her bag, she swiftly began trudging up the side of the grounds to the castle with her new friend.
