Leisure by the lake
This is a one on one with @Claudia Gears
Meredith was down by the Great Lake staring out across the water thinking about how magic works and why her father had kept it a secret from her for so long.
" If he did not want me to go to Hogwarts then why did he take me to the train station and onto platform 9 and 3/4? Maybe he thought I would dislike the magic ways and want to come home... ….. But that doesn't sound like my father at all what so ever."
As she was thinking she did not notice that it was slowly get lighter outside for she had walked down there rather early in the morning around like four thirty. Meredith had always liked to sneak outside back at home in London to go and met some friends out by the lake near her house, but now she had friends she could see almost everyday and there was a lake that she could stay by for a long time with out worrying about her father wondering where she was. As she gazed out into the shiny water that shimmered in the sun light Meredith didn't notice that there was someone coming down the hill to the Great Lake where she sat looking into the water.

Leisure by the lake
-------☆-------@Meredith ReadyClaudia had woken up early - well, earlier than most - because she wanted to avoid the dense crowds of the hallways and take advantage of the quiet. In doing so, Claudia ended up not reading at the library or staring at the stars, but instead she wandered about. It was strange how quiet Hogwarts was early in the morning. No students bustling about, shoving each other to get to classes. Only determined studiers and restless wanderers were awake. Claudia liked it that way.
So Claudia felt like trying something new. Why go to an eerie library without hearing the turn of pages, when you could discover a new place? She had heard students talking about the lake: its murky water and silence especially, and Claudia grew interested. Was the lake really black? How big was it? Did people ever swim in it? A million questions ran through her curiously mind as she walked.
When she trampled over the hill and reached its small summit, Claudia realized that someone else was there. She couldn’t see well in the faint light, but she was sure that it was another girl. Claudia instantly felt angry. Did I really come all this way just for my plans to be ruined? Why do people have to be wherever I go? Claudia clenched her fists and stormed up a little farther. But... I really have come all this way. Maybe I can just ask her to leave or something.
With that thought in mind, Claudia closed the distance between her and the lake... and the other girl. The girl had a blond bob of short hair and green eyes. Or, at least it seemed like she had green eyes. Maybe the girl actually had only one eye like Claudia. She would like to see that sight: someone like her.
Claudia sat down on the grass, her feet to the right side, her body to the left and slanted away from the girl. She knew it might seem rude not to start talking, but she wasn’t really in the mood. Plus, if she talked so suddenly, she might scare the poor girl! Claudia found a solution - one the girl probably wouldn’t notice - and tread her right hand back and forth in the water. Hopefully she would notice the ripple she and the water and look to her left - or at least see Claudia’s reflection.
Claudia tossed her hair with a flick of her head so that her eyepatch was partly covered. She really didn’t need to hide it, as her left side was facing away, but the reflection in the water... the reflection made Claudia look kind of scary. If she hadn’t covered her eyepatch, the girl would’ve likely been given a fright. With that last precaution, Claudia stared into the lake. To her, it felt like she was staring into a black abyss. To her, it felt sort of like she was staring at... her soul.-------☆-------
