It was a crisp Saturday morning. There were few clouds in the sky, with the sun occasionally peaking out from behind them. A gentle wind hit the audience. It was the kind of cold that felt refreshing, in a way. The grass had a slight frosty sheen to it as the cold winter weather started to approach. There was evidence of ice on the grounds of the quidditch field. But that did not matter. That did not affect the burning passion and love that each and every student present had for the sport. Besides, no one actually played quidditch whilst touching the ground.
Today, it would be a game of passion or heart. Hufflepuff and Gryffindor would be tested time and time again. It would be a matter of unwavering confidence and a burning desire to win. Their love for their sport, their ability to work together as a team, their abilities to perform their individual tasks will all affect the end result. Each and every tactic created would matter. Its execution would matter. Hufflepuff already had one win under their belt. This game would ensure their overall win - or it would be the comeback that Gryffindor wanted.
Could Saskia Nicholson of Hufflepuff secure her team's victory once more - or would Kyle DeRook of Gryffindor be able to snatch the prize and start their comeback? Only time would tell.
Professor Jensen stood in the audience, wrapped up by her winter coat and nuzzled into a very neutral purple colour scarf to avoid any house bias. She was not big on the sport, to be honest. Watching children take a bludger to the face or having them knocked off a broom with a fifty feet drop was not exactly her idea of fun. But she was not here to have fun, she was here to do her job. The Head of House was positioned towards the center of the audience stadium, ready to cast a spell at any moment's notice.
She could not stop the children from falling off their broom, nor could she help them to get back into the game. But she could cast a spell last minute to help break their fall, to ensure that their fall did not hospitalise them, that they were taken off the pitch immediately and tended to by the school's finest healers.
It was game time.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
Serena was beyond excited - and nervous. Hufflepuff had successfully won their first game but that did not mean they could take it easy. If there was one thing she knew, it was that Quidditch was unexpected and unpredictable. Her favourite professional team had started to suddenly do well in their games, according to the monthly bludger issues. She clutched her broom tightly, the falcons had won their game this month. Hufflepuff could do the same.
Her smile bore all of her teeth as she looked up, observing the skies. It was a good day for Quidditch. It might have been a little chilly but there was no real signs of rain and that was always a good thing when you're flying through the clouds. Before the game started, she looked at her teammates around her, "You got this, guys. Do your best out there. But mostly, have fun," She smiled at Julie, giving her a nod. Serena might not be playing straight away but she sure as hell could support her team. She did not know Julie well but as a fellow seeker, she could only wish her the most of luck, "Good luck!"
Heading to the bench, Serena dropped her broom underneath it and sat down. The Hufflepuff looked at her gloves. She had caught the snitch before. She had no idea how but she had helped to secure their first win. Nothing could beat the feeling of pride she felt knowing that. Clutching them into fists, she looked up to the pitch. They could do this. Together, they could do anything. A lesson learned from her very first year; a lesson she refused to forget. Serena loved this sport, more so than anything else. Just being here made her happy.

The day was finally here. The day that Piérre had been waiting for for his entire short, eleven year life. If he was going to die tomorrow, sure, he would be upset, but he would also be gratified.
Today was the day he would play for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Yes, he had seen the game go poorly the first time, he had been in the stands as the Ravenclaw Seeker snatched the snitch, the snitch that the eleven year old had seen from the start. There had been players who had been no shows, poor movements, and general uncleanliness of the game. The Ravenclaws May have won the first game, but they would do so no longer. Today, Piérre would prove his worth and assist his team as a second string player. He wouldn’t be on the field immediately, but woe to those who would force him to make an appearance.
Smiling up at the skies, Piérre breathed in the frozen air, pulling his scarlet coat around him tighter. Underneath was a Keeper’s armor, small, the smallest they could find for his tiny form, and even then, it had been a little too big.
It appeared he had been there before his own captain, and the stands were mostly empty, save for the professor who wouldn’t be there to first oversee the match. Picking up his broom, which he was borrowing from the school, Piérre shrugged, mounting it and taking a lap for fun around the arena to feel the air in his face. He would be back on the bench before the game started, but he really wanted to be in the air, especially if this was the only opportunity he was going to get. Flying was exhilarating, and it offered him a freedom that nothing else could give.
Freedom and oneness with the fluffy white clouds, whiter that sheep’s wool.

Donny's stomach was in a knot. He had no idea that today he would be thrown into the Quidditch Pitch to actually play a game! He had always been under the impression that he would never make the team. Never...not even after his father. But here he was. Only a few weeks after he'd carelessly signed his name on the flyer, he arrived clad in the iconic mustard yellow uniform and pads. They were quite loose over his skinny body, but he was as prepared as ever. At least he didn't have to wear those odd helmets like the keepers did.
But as he thrust himself out of the locker room and on to the field, he knew he wasn't ready. It may have been to much to take in. The giant stands that he once sat in were way bigger to him now. And the three, golden goal posts felt like his new home. As he zoned back into the real world again, he noticed that it was all too surreal. The other players on Hufflepuff seemed like they new what they were doing compared to him. He gripped his school broom-
"Ouch!"
He said, as a splinter caught his index finger. He sucked his teeth, and moved forward. he should've paid more attention during broom maintenance class. He walked toward the benches meekly, sitting himself down and looking at the ground. He thought hard to himself, trying to recite a paragraph from the 'Quidditch Through The Ages' book, he'd adopted just before dawn yesterday. But all he could think was, "I hope someone falls so I can get my chance," selfishly. Second string wasn't too bad, of course, he was happy he'd actually made it. Besides, some of these second strings were the game changers in the Quidditch world. He just hoped he would be the game changer, not the game looser. He crossed his fingers as the Gryffindor's arrived, closing his eyes, as his ears drowned in the arriving sounds of the crowd...

Kyle made sure his armor was properly strapped on, his bat was on his belt and his Tinderblast was in hand. With a nod to nobody but himself he strode out onto the field and and marched forward until he got to a decent distance ahead of the rest of the team and he turned to face them. "Training is over team! Time for the real deal. Last game was hard, but whats important is you fought hard and never gave up. We are family that looks out for each other, Warriors who never give up. We are Gryffindor! NOW LET ME HEAR YOU ROAR!"
He let out a battlecry of his own as he punched his fist into the sky and then he mounted his broom and rose up to get into position, Bat in hand. Last time things went poorly. This time though he was going to be ready. They would not lose a second time. Not if he had anything to say about it.

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
Dawn was pretty confident about today's match. They had already beat Slytherin 150 to 10 in their first match. Why should today be any different?Stepping out into the crisp, cool air. It was a pretty peaceful Saturday morning. The sky was lightly covered with clouds with an occasional glimpse of the sun. The wind was present, but not strong. The light wind put a few ripples in her hair and robes. She grabbed the broom that the school had so generously provided, as Dawn didn't have enough money to buy her own. She had spent it all on her rat, Loki.Action:

Arlis was very excited despite losing their first game. They had practiced since then and would have their captain playing with them this time. Everything was in place as she came to the field. Kyle arrived before long and began rallying his team. It put a smile on Arlis's face, that he could cheer them up and motivate them even after a hard loss in their first game of the season. And it was touching, the way he talked of them as a strong, warrior family. it was endearing. They were lions, members of the best house, and they could win.
She attempted her best roar and then laughed, mounting her broom and readying herself. She would start the game as cheerfully as always and try to maintain a cheerful determination throughout the game. she was confident that they were prepared this time.

Lamik Fillestars heart was hammering in his chest. As he walked onto the field, broom in one hand and lion plushie in the other, two things were fueling the sheer terror that was running through his veins. The first- he had been moved to first string seeker unexpectedly- meaning that this game would depend on him wether or not someone was knocked out. The second reason was his opponents; or rather, one of them. Saskia Nicholson. Even though he knew that he should remain focused on his own team, the boy couldn't shake the thought of her getting injured or worse.
Still, he had a game to win, and after walking towards the benches, Lamik placed his plushie beside the new second string seeker Pierre. "Take care of Pringle for me." He said, before taking a deep breath and running back onto the field.

Rafa was positively fiery right now. It was a very difficult emotion to explain – the best way to describe it was buzzing with energy. For one, his fingers were all twitchy, a knack he had gained from his football days in Argentina. Secondly, his heart was beating like a snare drum. It wasn’t a nervous pounding though – he was anticipating the game more than anything.
His face held a bright look. Yeah, he had been anticipating this game for a little while now. Though, It was a bit hard to wrap his head around the fact that the day had actually come. It had been more of a dreamy thought. He had never actually attended a game like this, though he had practiced and read all the rules and guidelines. All the words he had memorized came streaming back as he stood in the locker room, strapping all his gear into place with shaky hands. He really couldn’t stop grinning – he must have looked like a madman. Though, he couldn’t exactly bring himself to care too much, as his thoughts were otherwise occupied.
He quickly checked his equipment one more time, running the checklist through his head. “Way to go, mate,” he muttered to himself, rather humorously. “You put your pants on the right way.” Shaking his head with a laugh, he deftly snagged a broom from the broom closet. It was rather smooth model, he noted. Inwardly, he said a little mantra to whoever was in the sky, before clutching his broom and exiting the locker room.
The noises of his fellow students and mates hit him like a truck. It was louder than he imagined, but not unwelcome. In fact, it gave him more of a jolt of excitement. He grinned, running to the benches with his broom. He set his model next to a bench, and started to warm up. Absently, he noticed a few people he knew. He sent one of his classmates a wave, more giddy than ever. It was then he felt a pang of anxiety – the success of their team partially rested on him. He tried not to think about this too much, though. Shaking his head, he grabbed his broom and walked onto the pitch.
“You got this, ‘Bird,” he muttered, clutching his broom with vengeance. Gryffindor would never be humiliated again, if he had anything to say about it. “Make Gryffindor proud.”

Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor
Nicky's head was spinning with excitement. After all the training they had done it was finally time to prove they could win. She knew that in the first Quidditch game the odds were not really in Gryffindor's favor, to say the least, but nevertheless she knew that one defeat only means that victory has yet to come. Besides those serious thoughts there were also thoughts about how pretty her uniform looked and how she got letters from her family wishing her good luck with the match. And thoughts about how much she wanted to actually play but sitting on the bench was also amazing because she'd get to watch the game with her favorite teammates. So Nicky smiled widely and took her place on a bench enthusiastically.
"GO GRYFFINDOR" - she yelled happily.
This match already couldn't get any better.
