It was later in the evening from when she visited the lake in the morning. It had been nearly twenty-four hours since she expressed her feelings to Reid. I'm such an idiot, she thought to herself. She even thought about what would even have happened if he said that he liked her, too? Bloom had never been in a relationship before, nor does she even know what is a relationship.

Bloom needed more outside time. She could not bear to be in the castle where it would be easy for her to run into Reid. She needed to get rid of all the sadness and the anger. Whatever she was feeling, she did not like it. But where was she to go? The Courtyard was where they first met (and most likely a place to run into him), she already went to the lake... What about the Quidditch Field? she thought. She had never been there and Bloom felt like going on a solo adventure anyways.

Dinner was being served in the Great Hall which made it easier for Bloom to sneak out. While all the Ravenclaw's had made their way to the large door, she sneaked out the back and onto the grounds. Walking towards the field, her body felt heavy. Ignoring the emotions that weighed on her shoulders, she walked through the meadow and to the historical field of Quidditch. Bloom had never played but she had seen one game. It was the Chudley Cannon's versus the Hollyhead Harpies. Her father brought the whole family to see them as an outing one year.

Bloom was never into Quidditch enough to want to play. She did enjoy watching the game, though. Walking up on the stands, she made her way to where Ravenclaw's would sit and cheer and sat down on the wooden chair that was rowed like pews. It was horrible uncomfortable, but she still sat there nonetheless.

Remembering her conversation with Reid, he wanted to try out for the Quidditch team when we reached of age. She told him that he would make a really good keeper or chaser. Why can't I get him out of my mind? she thought. Bloom leaned forward, her elbows rested on her knees and her head down. She began to cry. She truly was crushed by her crush. She was experiencing a new adventure of feelings and thoughts; one that she had never witnessed or gone through before.

A long day had been in store for Felicity, that much was true. What started off as waking up in her dormitory, going for breakfast, then to Transfiguration - which was a nastily, awfully difficult class, to Herbology, then so on and so forth. It was as though the weight on her shoulders was growing heavier and heavier, because after she was finished with Herbology, and decided to walk a very long ways away from the class, she happened to just faint. That's right - faint.

What happened afterwards was all nonsense! She saw herself looking into a mirror, and being a creator of a spell. She couldn't shake the feeling of nausea that came afterwards, and now she was just looking for serenity. So, when she had come across the Quidditch Pitch, she took the moment to take a seat in the very back corner, watching the sun set. It was a beautiful array of colour - blue sky, accented with pink, orange, and purple streaks. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets she had experienced. Perhaps even the sunsets were magical at Hogwarts.

She caught sight of movement from the corner of her eye, catching another person climbing the stairs to the Ravenclaw section. They didn't seem to notice her, and sat quite a bit further up. It was nearing supper time, so Felicity was more than curious to know why another person was skipping out. She, personally, had the whole vision thing to worry about, but how come someone else would miss such a grand feast? She could hardly miss it, herself.

All of Felicity's questions soon became answered as she saw the girl drop her head into her hands and her shoulders began to heave. Oh, no, the blonde thought to herself, already feeling sadness panging at her heart for the other girl, Perhaps I should comfort her..?

She agreed with herself, and slowly began making her way down the steps to the row that the girl was at. She stood silently for a few moments, parting, then closing her mouth, trying to settle on the correct words to say. "A-Are you okay?" She stuttered out the question, not too sure if there was anything else to ask. She sat down next to her after a few seconds, placing her hand on her shoulder, "I know that being here is really tough. Would you like to talk about what's on your mind?" She asked, looking at her worriedly.

Felicity couldn't stand others being upset. It hurt her to even see them so, if not rightfully deserved. This could have been the determining factor between her being sorted into Hufflepuff instead of Ravenclaw, and she was surprised that it wasn't. She was one of the most empathetic people that she knew. If she lost that, she would feel as though she was void of emotion, as dramatic as that sounds.

Bloom was pouring her soul into a cry, mending it little by little. Her mother taught her that. Rather than having anger which tears the soul, just cry. It was definitely working for Bloom as she began to calm down slowly. When her crying lessened, she heard someone talk to her. Bloom, startled, looked at who it was.

She had never met this person before, but looking at her robes, she was a Ravenclaw. Did she follow me? she wondered. The girl had asked her if she was okay and Bloom shook her head. Do I look okay? she replied in her mind. She was glad that she did not say that out loud as she knew the girl was just trying to help.

Wiping her eyes, Bloom looked at the blonde girl and gave a small smile, officially forcing herself to calm down from the crying. "I'm better, thanks. Just a rough day," she said, honestly. Her soul was mending, she could feel it. It was one of the best cries she had ever done within the twenty-four hour span. Another day and perhaps she would get over the crushed feeling for Reid.

The Ravenclaw asked if Bloom had wanted to talk about the situation. Bloom looked down to the ground and began to play it all in her mind. Would she sound stupid to be crying like this because of a crush? Would she be understanding? She had no idea who this person was and she already felt like trusting her. Was it because they were in the same house? She had no idea, but she felt like she needed to share. Bloom felt it was only fair as the Ravenclaw had just seen her cry.

"I told someone I liked them and they didn't like me back. I think I ruined our friendship, too," she said, not saying Reid's name on purpose. "Oh erm, do you want to sit?" she asked, "they're not that comfortable though."

A sort of pitying smile came to Felicity's lips as the girl mentioned the day being rough, nodding her head. "I can agree with you there." She stated, tearing her gaze away to  look back at the sunset. It was one of the things that she did that calmed her. She couldn't picture a world without a sunset - she would be most distraught over the worst things. The colors made her think. She looked back at the other Ravenclaw present, though, as soon as she began talking again.

"Ah, yes, I was sitting up there, so I totally understand the uncomfortability of these seats." She replied to the question of if she would like to sit, not even sure if 'uncomfortability' was a word. She didn't mind that, though, and took a seat next to her. "I couldn't imagine even confessing to someone about something like that," She mentioned, her mind straying away to Ryan, a boy their age who she knew that she, herself, had undeniable attraction towards, "I wouldn't ever have the confidence to do even that, so you're braver than me already."

She smiled the other girl's way, seeming to be completely understanding of the topic at hand. She would be completely devastated if Ryan had rejected her. She couldn't even imagine how this girl would feel, thinking that she could have ruined the friendship she shared with the boy as well.

"If it helps any, I doubt that your friendship would be ruined!" She offered, clasping her hands together in her lap now, the soft breeze blowing a few strands of her slightly curly blonde hair back behind her shoulders. "If something like this ruins a friendship, then it wasn't much of a friendship. Friends should stick together no matter what!" Honest, these were her beliefs. If friends didn't stick together through thick and thin, how much of a friend were they really? Not a very good one.

Bloom recognized how understanding the Ravenclaw was and started to really enjoy her company. She needed someone like her right now. Earlier in the day, she had a Gryffindor who was charming her. But now, it was just two girls talking to one another, understanding of each other's problems. Bloom couldn't help but laugh through her tears when the girl spoke about how Brave she was.

"You mean unwise," she corrected. "It wasn't bravery, it was idiocy." Bloom had regret every moment of last night with Reid. Why did she have to tell him?

She knew why. The feelings were so new to her and Bloom had no idea how to handle the situation. On top of that, she was away from home for the first time. This made her much more vulnerable to the need of being with someone, so what better than someone that she likes... A lot?

Bloom listened to her words on friendship and she began to nod her head. Bloom remembered Reid mentioning that he wanted to be friends. Even if she is getting friend zoned (as her older sister would call it), he would be worth her time if he kept his word. Realistically, their relationship is now on him. For some reason, this made Bloom feel a bit better.

"You're right," she said, feeling a bit more confident. She wiped away her eyes, ensuring that they were fully dry and looked at the Ravenclaw with her chocolate brown eyes. "Thank you," she smiled, "I'm Bloom, by the way. Bloom Silverton." Bloom extended her hand for a handshake to the Ravenclaw girl.

Felicity shook her head slightly at the fact that the girl had dubbed her actions as 'idiocy', but remained silent. She would leave that argument for another day, perhaps when the girl had yet again proved to be courageous, and Felicity would prove her point. She smiled widely as she perked up, and slipped her hand into the one extended out to her.

"Hello Bloom, It's really great to meet you! I'm Felicity," She introduced herself, her smile spreading into a grin. Here she was, coming to the Quidditch Pitch to mope about the day's events herself, but instead making a possible friend out of someone. She got excited when it came to that word - friend. That was one thing that you couldn't have enough of!

"Oh! Felicity Greenwich! Sorry, I forgot my last name. I don't mean I forgot it forgot it, but I forgot to say it. You know?" She asked, laughing a little bit. She was a rambler sometimes, and that got her absolutely nowhere most of the time. "And it's what anyone would do, is it not? Ought to stop bringing people down in this world," She tisked, knowing full well that her mother would be very proud of her behavior right now. Well, if she couldn't impress with failing Transfiguration and vivid dreams, her mannerisms surely would.

"You know, I say we should be friends. What do you think?" Felicity asked, tilting her head to the side. She had pulled her hand back by now, and went to tuck a piece of hair that kept straying in front of her fact back behind her ear. Darn wind was so light that it was just annoying enough. She tucked the hair on the other side behind her ear as well, finding that she may as well.

She was glad that she was able to somewhat improve Bloom's mood. It was kind of her first attempt, considering she'd never really seen her friends cry over more than spilling their ice cream. It was a nice feeling of accomplishment that sat in her chest - a heavy feeling brought to her by helping someone else feel better themselves. What a great thing! She should continue to do this.. Well, if she ever runs into someone crying, of course.

Bloom couldn't help but to laugh at her ramble about her name. "If you forgot it, then I'd be a bit worried!" she joked back. Bloom really liked Felicity. There was something about her that just made her feel good. Was it her optimism? Probably. But she felt like it was more than that.

Felicity, thus far, reminded Bloom of her older sister, Claire. Although Claire was rebellious, she still had a lot of empathy and was a very good listener. Granted, her skills were never practiced on her parents, but Bloom was always thankful to have her sister take the time to listen to her from time to time.

Bloom's lips spread into a wide smile. Her laughing lines deep and her cheek bones exposed. Her brown almond-eyes squinted from the smile. Her body language turned upright and she shifted herself to lean towards Felicity.

"Yes! Let us be friends! You know," she started. "I think you're the first Ravenclaw that has asked to be friends and not study partners," she observed sarcastically. Every Ravenclaw that she met would ask her to study. She always found it annoying that because they were Ravenclaw's studious comes with their package.

To Bloom, it was not the case. Ravenclaw was also about creativity and originality. This did not just define them into the study room or library at every waking moment. In addition, a Ravenclaw was okay to get less than an outstanding in their assignments.

Bloom wiped away any of the last remaining wetness from her eyes. She didn't feel like crying anymore. No, she felt like herself. And it was because of this person in front of her. She was truly an inspiration. Perhaps it was because she reminded Bloom of her sister that she had a bit of home with her to keep her strong. Nonetheless, Felicity was definitely a friendship she wants to make stronger.

"Have you joined any clubs as of late?" she asked, wanting to get to know Felicity more.

The grin that Felicity wore on her face felt as though it were permanently engraved there. She was just so happy! "Really?" She asked, a little dumbfounded at that. She had met plenty of people, personally, and only a few of them were study partners - Serena, Ben, and Ryan. Everyone else seemed plenty nice enough to become her friend, and so it was.

"No, I haven't joined any, actually.." She trailed off. She knew of the clubs that there were, but she didn't have a particular interest in joining any. You'd think she would, considering she was oh-so bubbly. Perhaps, when she's old enough, she'll try out for Quidditch or something. That's a team, right? She couldn't help but imagine that riding a broom would feel like riding a horse, though. She'd find that out whenever she has Flying class. "Have you?"

She expected Bloom to say yes, and list off a ton. She seemed like the kind of girl who would be completely involved with that sort of thing. But then again, Felicity seemed the type as well. Perhaps she would join a club if Bloom was in one. Then, she would at least know that she would have a decent amount of fun in the class. The two had just met, but Felicity definitely felt close to Bloom already.

Perhaps this was just a part of her prophecy. One that would be quite the long one. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly, trying to remember if Bloom was in her dormitory. She didn't think so. There was Grace, Alice, Dymphna, Herself, Rosalie, Emma, and.. was there anyone else? Drat, she was sure there were two more people in the dorm, but she couldn't remember their names for the life of her. This is what happens when you meet too many people. At least she would remember Bloom's name.

Felicity turned her head when she heard a little bird chirp, sitting on the bleachers in front of them. It was a chickadee, and it was singing it's merry tune. One time, when her and her mother were walking down the street, singing it back to the birds lining the electrical wires. The tune was something of: Chick-a-dee-dee-dee-dee, hence their name. She had so many memories that were easily resurfaced. It was sort of a bother, actually, considering all the said memories were capable of was making her miss her home.

Bloom was a bit shocked to hear that Felicity had not joined any clubs. She seemed like the kind of person who had a good head on her shoulders and knew what she wanted. Bloom, on the other hand, did not even know what hobbies best fit her. She was only eleven-years-old. Hobbies were supposed to be found by that age already, right?

"I'm not in any clubs. I'd like to be, I just don't know what I'd like," she answered. Bloom's overactive mind began to think more and more about herself. With no hobbies comes no sense of purpose. Bloom had not even figured out about what career she wanted to pursue when she got older. She wanted to ask Felicity what she wanted to be when she grew up, but she knew the question would come back to her and haunt her. She just met this Ravenclaw, and did not want to seem like she had nowhere to go in life.

"Maybe we can figure out a club to join together?" she asked, realizing that maybe she hadn't joined a club because she did not want to go alone. Bloom was always up for adventure, but when it came to something as easy as joining a club, it was the most intimidating thing to do. Perhaps with Felicity's help, Bloom can find her purpose in life.

Bloom watched as Felicity turned to see a bird that was chirping in front of them. She turned her head, too, watching the bird sing its song carefree, so happy. A little over twenty-four hours ago, Bloom was just like that. But she ruined it by telling someone she liked them. How could she have been so stupid? Looking back at Felicity, she felt like she really needed to talk about it. At least about him. Has she met him? Bloom wondered. Before starting, Bloom went back to watch the bird, her eyes focused on the creature's beauty.

"His name is Reid, a Hufflepuff first-year," she said, looking back at Felicity. Bloom's eyes were slowly watering, but she blinked a few times to keep the water back. She had to remember her words from earlier. He shouldn't be worth it if he doesn't keep the friendship. She hoped so much that he wanted to. But she knew it would be awkward the moment they saw each other again.

"Have you met him before?" she asked.

The moment that Bloom suggested joining a club together, Felicity nodded her head, a big, goofy smile on her face, "I would love that!" She exclaimed excitedly, "Do you have anything specific that you like to do? I kind of like everything, so it'll be really hard for me to decide on one." She admitted, chewing on her lip at the fact that she was indecisive. She should really start making decisions for herself. Despite that, she wanted Bloom to choose. She didn't want to embarrass herself by suggesting something that Bloom knew nothing about.

"Reid.. I think I did, actually!" She replied, remembering earlier, when she had her whole 'vision' scenario, a Hufflepuff boy had witnessed her fall and covered her with his robe and used his Cardigan to give her some sort of pillow. Later, he had introduced himself as Reid. It must have been the one that Bloom was talking about, as well! Not many people were named Reid.

"He was quite nice. I couldn't see him not wanting to be friends with you.. Perhaps you should speak with him?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, "Though, now may not be the best time," She laughed, noticing that this was probably a more difficult topic to speak of for Bloom. It was a recent heartache, after all. If Felicity was in her place, she would have probably locked herself up in her dorm room, and stayed in there for a couple of days until she died of embarrassment.

"Anyways, really, you're quite amazing, Bloom." She stated simply as though to finish off the topic. If the brunette wanted to continue speaking about it, she trusted that she would. Felicity didn't want to be one to push someone to talk about something they didn't want to.

The bird startled the blonde as it took off abruptly, flying dangerously close to both Bloom and Felicity's heads. The shorter witch ducked down, covering her hair as though it would keep the bird from dropping its excess on her head. What an unfortunate event that would be. She would shower for the rest of the night, most likely.
