Changing Rooms || Secret Blossom Ball
Jorah burst into the boy's changing room with the screaming from the Quidditch pitch filtering in from behind him. He hadn't even been attacked, but Jorah felt like he was dying with how out of breathe he was from running around looking for Jack. Holding the stitch in his side, he fought to speak. Between panted breathes he managed to scream out "Jack!...Jack!...You here!" The room was dark save for the light emitting from a couple of wands. A small crowd of students were huddled near the light and with them was Jack! He had finally found him!
The victory was short lived as Jorah heard the sounds of flapping wings. No, they're in here too! In the wand light he could make out one, no two mosps flying towards the group! He had to act fast, but any spell he cast was just as likely to fly past the mosps and hit the students. Jorah had one advantage though, they were playing in his house now. It's just like a bludger, it's just like a bludger, you can do this, he thought. The Ravenclaw beater ran to his locker and grabbed his bat from his Quidditch gear. With his club in hand, Jorah ran towards the nearest mosp screaming "AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" and swung.

Changing Rooms || Secret Blossom Ball
Backtracking to the beginning of the ball and all the way to currently.
Adonis had arrived rather late to the secret Blossom Ball compared to some of the other people and his friends that had been there. He came alone as it was a last minute thing he decided on doing. Being one that was all for socialization and activities like this, Adonis surprisingly had opted out at first for going to the Blossom Ball. It was weird how he did. He was never one to do that. Here he was at the ball though either way so it didn't matter now. It was weird to him though that the students were having this without the professors knowing. In a sense though it made it that much more exciting and daring with the adrenaline it filled them with for all having of this in secret.
Upon arriving at the ball, Adonis looked around for people to talk to or any of his friends or dorm-mates. Wherever they were. While walking around in admiration of all the decorations and how it turned out, the boy wore a big smile on his face while observing the turnout for everything. Adonis' gaze flickered between a multitude of faces and people that he may have known or not known. He wasn't exactly looking for anyone in particular, just scanning the crowd of faces as to who was there. The young Thorn boy presumably then left the Quidditch Pitch field where the main part of the Blossom Ball was before the lights had suddenly gone away, standing outside and away from the pitch a good few yards away for a bit all the while not having any knowledge of the mosps that had rained down upon the Quidditch Pitch.
After breaking free of his thoughts and contemplating for a good amount of time as to whether he should go through with going to the blossom ball or not, Adonis finally decided on returning to the ball and made his first stop the changing rooms. He entered the boys changing room, whistling nonchalantly at first until he noticed the lights were off. They were thrown off at first by all the lights being turned off in the room except for one, which seemed to be the Wand-Lighting Charm that had been cast by George.
Stunned at first to say the least, Adonis then suddenly whipped out his wand and aimed his sights on the closest mosp nearby that happened to already be near another boy who was trying to beat it up with a bat. "Watch out!" Adonis called out to Jorah. Quickly, the boy then did a leaf-like movement with his wand that was followed by, "Incendio!" In which a stream of flames would've shot forth from the tip of his wand that would be aimed at the mosp if he were to be successful with casting said spell.
Action: Entering the changing room & attempting to cast Incendio at Mosp #18.

Mosp #18Mosp #19@Annie Morgan managed to adjust rather quickly to the sudden light that appeared in the room, thanks to the two Lumos that had been casted, and once her eyes set on one of the red mosps, she instinctively touched her flower crown, raising her hand up and tossing it away.
It would have been a smart move, if only the giant insect in front of her had been one of the purple ones, but unfortunately, it being one of the red ones - that are far more aggressive, and would not hesitate to attack whatever or whoever comes on their path- her move was completely useless. The giant red bug proceeded towards the Hufflepuff girl, its stingers aimed for her. Suddenly, @Jorah Moussa appeared out of nowhere, and with his bat he tried to hit the bug, thinking about it as if it was a giant bludger. Is the mosp distracted by the flower crown?

The swing was powerful, and it would have definitely hit the flying bug, if only the Ravenclaw boy had been more concentrated. The bat missed the mosp, and instead it hit some shelves that where right next to the boy, shattering them and making the mosp angrier. The insect turned towards the Ravenclaw boy, its attention focused on him as it completely forgot about Annie -that would take that opportunity to run into the girls' changing rooms, where the Mosp #17 would ignore her - and threw itself at him.Jorah vs Mosp 18 (affected by Lumos):

With a quick jump on his left, Jorah managed to avoid the attack of the mosp, that turned around, ready to strike again. Arriving just at the right moment, @Adonis Thorn took out his wand and aimed towards the horrifying bug, determined to set it on fire.Mosp's attack (affected by Lumos):

With a flick of his wand, flames came out of Adonis' wand and they hit the mosp but unfortunately the spell was not strong enough for the flying creature to properly catch fire. The Gryffindor boy successfully created a bouquet of flowers, specifically flowers that the mosps loved, and he threw it in the opposite corner of the room (not without any concern from George, that tried to comfort @Jake Morris with a pat on the head) ; the Mosp #19 followed the bouquet of flowers, leaving the group of students alone. Still under the light of George's Lumos, the group was clearly visible to anyone/anything in the room, so when another red Mosp (#22) entered the room, it spotted Grace's flowers on her dress quite easily, and it started moving fast toward the girl, aiming its stingers towards her.Alan casts Orchideous:

As the Ravenclaw ran up to the bug, something happened, it flew somewhere else.
Grace turned around, there were flowers in the corner, and the dumb bug was flying to it, it seemed to enjoy the flowers.
"Okay so what in the world are those bugs!?" she half-screamed.
"Th-those are m-mosps; v-vampyr mosps and th-their stings a-are incredibly painful!" the tall boy that Grace threatened said.
Mosps, Mosps, Grace thought she heard that word somewhere.
She remembered reading it in a book, but she had no idea what they looked like.
Well until now.
Grace sighed and turned around to the boy she slapped "Listen, I'm sorry about slapping-" then she heard more buzzing, she whipped around, hurting her neck a bit.
Another Mosp was coming, and it looked like it was targeting Grace.
Grace whimpered like a dog, and her legs locked again, she didn't know what to do!
She was scared of bugs too, mostly big ones, and these bugs were ginormous.
"H-Help!" she managed to squeak.
She then felt tears roll down her cheeks, she was extremely scared.
Grace's lips quivered as her tears started going faster and faster, her eyes were blurring.
But then.
She screamed.
It was loud, really loud, so loud her throat hurt badly.
But she did it.

Lucille hadn't been doing much before the lights went out,In fact, all she was really going was raiding the snack bar and doing the ocational feet tapping to a good song. But then, the lights went out,(sadly so did the music)and in the midst of everyone freaking out she heard a scream coming from the changing room.Thankfully, her dress was short so it had been easy to run into the changing rooms and find who had let their pipes loose.
"Oh my goodness are you okay?"Lucille asked when she found the girl. Her face no doubt read "freaked out" but there really didn't seem like anything to be freaked out about besides the lights going out.As Lucille tried to find out why she had been screaming, she felt a woosh by her ear.Suddenly, she saw it.A giant bug flew past her and just as it came after her again she grabbed the girl's arm and ducked under the bug as it went zooming past them.
"What the hell was that thing?" she asked the girl."and why is it chasing you!?"Lucille looked into her small dress pocket and saw her wand sticking out like a sore thumb.Lucille had never been the heroic type, but she grabbed her wand out of her pocket as she left the girl behind her to begin waving her wand madly at the bug."Leave.Her.Alone!"Lucille retorted to the bug.As she ran around waving her wand at the bug like a madman,(due to the fact she was too freaked out to actually cast anything.)in true Lucille fashion, she tripped, and fell on her side as she felt the giant bug getting closer and closer to her.

BANG! The club narrowly missed the mosp, smashing into the wooden shelves on Jorah's left. Okay maybe this creature wasn't just like a bludger. The mosp's flying patterns were completely different
from what Jorah was familiar with. The boy's attack had not gone unnoticed as it buzzed around to face him. As the mosp dived in for an attack, Jorah threw himself to the side, falling against the shelves. The dodge was successful, as Jorah dived out of the monster's path just in time to avoid the it's painful stinger.
Then something happened that Jorah did not expect, a fireball! The mosp was hit with a flame spell from the room's entrance. As the lights flickered on, Jorah saw it was Adonis with his wand aimed at the mosp. The slytherin boy wasn't the only new addition as Jorah then noticed there was now a third mosp in the room! Jorah turned to his date and the others. "Are you guys ok?" After a response, Jorah would continue. "It's not much better out on the pitch, but if we can clear out this room, we'll have a safe place for everyone outside. Are you with me, Jack?" Jorah would pause monetarily for Jack to answer before running towards the mosp for another attack.

It took a while for Jo to calm down, but the lights coming back on helped immensely. Darkness often brought comfort, but just not today. One of the boys Alan Vanes revealed the creature to be a mosp - a vampyr mosp, to be exact. The Gryffindor has never heard of such a bug, but hopefully these weren't immune to being crushed or killed in normal bug ways. Although according to the boy's description a sting would not be fatal, the hospital wing was also not exactly where Jo wanted to spend the next few weeks. At least she wasn't tasteless enough to tack ugly bunches of flowers onto her clothing or weave them into her hair like some of the other unlucky girls she had seen along the way.
"I guess they can't catch fire," she said to herself as a Slytherin boy tried and failed to send one of them bursting into flames. A horrible idea, really, to cast fire spells indoors. The last thing Jo wanted was for a low-hanging curtain to ignite and force the group to choose between being stung by giant magical venomous insects and being roasted alive in a tiny room. As she wasted her time pondering hypothetical scenarios, another magical bug entered the room; this one was very similar to the others, but a slightly prettier shade of purple. Ooh-la-la!
She was just getting ready to hide herself behind a nearby chair when one of the girls @Grace Mint screamed loudly. A mosp hovered angrily nearby, ready to sting her.
Jo should have run. She should have obeyed her self-preservation instinct and hidden, just as Lady Aithne would have advised her to do. Leave it to the men to play at being heroes - that's why women live longer. Forget trying to save anyone - the dumb jocks would take care of that, falling over each other to protect the poor little damsel in distress. She was above all that. It was all for the better if the mosp attacked the other girl, in fact. Maybe the mosp was like a bee; it could only sting one person. If so, sacrificing the blonde could save her own skin. In a way, her current dilemma reminded her of the Trolley Problem, but worse. She could do nothing and watch the bug sting some girl she barely knew and certainly didn't care about, or she could try to "pull the lever" and in doing so possibly send the danger angrily hurtling towards another person or maybe even herself. But...what if she did "pull the lever" and interfere, and someone else was stung because of it? The blonde couldn't blame her for not saving her, but this person could. Jo would have made a new enemy, for no reason other than stupid hero theatrics. Jo wasn't the good guy - she never was. Why change that now? Gryffindor was getting to her. She had to stay aloof, never mind what happened to the random blonde.
It was at this moment that something Jo could never have foreseen happened in front of her eyes. Something she could only describe as utter lunacy. A brown-eyed Ravenclaw girl with short curly hair @Lucille Williams , obviously no longer interested in her continued existence or too panicked to care, purposefully thrust herself into harm's way and began to wave her wand about in the air without even casting a single spell. Jo was gobsmacked. Utterly speechless. This girl was a Ravenclaw! What was she thinking?
The Ravenclaw shouted at the mosp. Yeah. That'll do it. You show that bug who's boss, clever Ravenclaw girl. As if that wasn't enough for a first impression, the girl proceeded to trip and fall down, leaving her completely vulnerable to the mosp's wrath."Leave. Her. Alone!"
Jo sighed as she reluctantly pointed her wand at the insect. If this worked, the blonde and maybe even the curly-haired girl would owe her one, she thought. Jo quite liked the idea of being owed a favor, although she wasn't entirely sure how that extremely subjective system worked. Ugh. Perhaps she could slam the little bugger into a wall. Anything to get it out of the air. If she could damage its wings with the blast and render it unable to fly, it would be much easier to kill.
Dammit, Jo her instincts said. Get out of here. You aren't needed. Nobody wants you here. Nobody asked you to save them. You're meddling! You're interfering! This is dangerous!

Slade had his hand up, smile on his face; ready to receive a high a five from Jo when she replied with a smile.@ Jo Morgan
Open to interactions with anyone good or bad!
He brought his hand back to himself, he was a bit embarrassed, his face was flushed and his ears were giving off heat. Good thing it was dark as she couldn't see him, but she was right, and he knew that. this was not the appropriate to be doing things like this, "What was I thinking?". The situation they were in was strange and didn't feel right. "Sorry about that Jo, you're right, this isn't an appropriate time, I'm more than happy to help my fellow classmates." He said with a more determined look on his face." Er... maybe later. At a more appropriate time. But thanks anyway. I appreciate you being willing to help."
She told him that the release of the Bludgers were more than likely a prank, but didn't understand the point off setting the fireworks, and that no student should be able to turn all the lights off at once. She didn't think we were dealing with a prank. He noticed the worry in her voice, as if there was something or someone to be more worried about, but there was to much confusion going to figure out who or what was behind all this. Slade was starting to get worried, a bit scared even, but now was not the time to think like that, but to act.
"Whats our next...." His voice trailed off, he heard it off in the distance, making its way closer, a buzzing sound getting louder, he looked at Jo who was staring off to the direction it was coming from, and she yelled out
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?"
Slade turned around and saw something that looked like it came out of a sci-fi horror movie. Thanks to someone casting light in the area, he was able to see them better. And he wished he hadn't now, they were huge, it looked like a moth, but also a wasp. The one major thing that stuck out to him were the giant stingers that were sticking out of them! "What the hell!!! Those things are like giant knives!"
Jo exclaimed."Stingers. Merlin."
She looked to him and said;
Responding with a bit of worry on his face "Sure, sounds good Jo." Slade looked around quickly and saw the bugs starting to go after the students. The red ones seemed overly aggressive and were the only ones attacking, he saw one boy cast something that shot flowers out and distracted one of the bugs. Another boy had come running in and grabbed a bat from the locker and was swinging furiously at the bug, yet missed it, and it was followed with a blast of fire at it, it looked like it hurt the bug, but didn't catch fire unfortunately. This was getting intense, people were fighting back, he thought it was a person that was doing all this, but it seems, like these bugs were the cause."Hey Slade, I'll take you up on that high-five once we beat these ...things down, how about that? Then we'll both have earned it. "
He yelled out to Jo, "What do we do? What's the plan?" He saw her standing near a chair, she looked as if she was taking it all in, he didn't blame her, these things were terrifying. Slade couldn't decide what to do at this point, people were attacking these creatures he figured he'd help somehow, he reached for his wand in his pocket, but felt nothing there, checked his other pocket same thing, panic started to set in now, he realized he had left it behind! He figured this was just a dance, so there was no need for it, yet here he was, dangerous flying bugs and people casting spells, he felt like an idiot! "Shit!! Jo, I forgot my freaking wand back at dorm!! What do I do?"
Jus then another red bug flew in, ignoring those around it, except for one blonde girl, which was going straight towards her. He wanted to do something, his legs wanted to move, but they were heavy, as if someone tied strong magnets to his legs and kept him in place. It was getting closer to her, "Run!!" he yelled to her, but nothing came out of his mouth, what was happening? This isn't him, fear had started to settle in, he felt naked, useless without his wand. He saw that another student was trying to save the blonde girl, she had managed to grab and run under the bug, but had tripped and fell her to her side with the bug approaching them even closer.
That's when he heard a shout
and saw Jo shoot out green sparks from her wand."Verdimillious."
Seeing Jo have the courage to act, sparked something in Slade, it shouldn't matter if he had his wand or not, people needed help, he just needed to go, to move. In his head he kept saying "Move, move!!! Come on legs just go!!" As soon as he saw the green sparks shoot from Jo's wand his legs had finally lifted, still heavy, but he ran towards the bug as fast as he could, and cocked his fist back and went in to punch the bug as hard as he could!
Action: Runs up to Mosp #22 to try and punch it. After @Jo Morgan casts her Verdimillious.

Annie watched in horror as the mosp still pursued after her instead of her flower crown but wait what the heck? A boy came out of no where with a bat and tried to hit the mosp. She was frozen for half a second but took her chance and fled to the Girl's Changing Rooms. The girl scanned the room and saw a purple mosp (mosp #17) near the door of which she would have to exit out of. Annie stopped for a second to catch her breath and decided to change into some safer/less hazardous clothes if she had to run for her life. She went to her bag and threw on her previous outfit, a yellow sweater and black jeans which was casual but a lot less likely to catch fire then her dress. After a quick change she glanced towards her locker which was next to Saskia's locker. Of course! What better way to fight giant flying insects then to get on their level?
Annie quickly unlocked her locker and grabbed Saskia's Silver Arrow before making her way over to the exit. She assumed the purple mosps were calmer and since she hadn't cast lumos it wasn't angry or even curious about her. You'd think professors would be notified by now. The only other thought on her mind besides her own safety was Saskia's. "I should have never left her, I knew something bad was going to happen.." Annie mummbled and let out a soft sigh before becoming silent again and sucking in a breath of air as she neared the mosp and the door.

"Oh, incredibly painful! Of course they're incredibly painful, what isn't at this school?!" George shouted, the lit tip of his wand shaking as he felt his body start to shiver with fear and adrenaline. The bug was bright red an giant, buzzing angrily toward George. He could feel Jake behind him, the Hufflepuff trying to put on a brave face while facing the beast. But the sight of those giant stingers was too much for him to handle - he shut his eyes tight, waiting to feel the pain of the sting, waiting for this all to be over...
And it never came. A breeze buzzed past him and George opened his eyes, turning to look at the mosp as it hovered around the bouquet that Alan had produced from his wand. All at once, George was relieved and star-struck by Alan's clever thinking and heroism. He turned to look at the Gryffindor boy with new admiration - he had sort of expected him to be more cowardly. An odd judgement to make on a Gryffindor, but Alan... was Alan, and seemed too mild for such bold tactics. George was elated with his savior - not only had he saved his life, but technically, he had gotten the young Hufflepuff some flowers. "Alan! Alan, thank you!"
Looking backwards, George realized that the shadows were no longer creeping along the walls in the room. The lights were back. He let his lumos fade away, trying to find a better use for himself - there were suddenly three mosps where there had been two, all red and angry and - one was buzzing for Grace! She was shrieking like a banshee, harmonizing with the unbearable buzzing of three giant bugs. George swore he could feel of the noise vibrating around his skull.
"This is happening because you are in the boys' room!" George scolded her, raising his wand to point at the mosp that was assailing her - only to be intercepted by an onslaught of angry students. Another girl rushed in and stabbed at it with her wand in true muggle fashion. The other girl in the room tried to throw sparks, while the boy with her stepped up and tried to punch it. Don't need a sorting hat to tell you which house kids like that belong to, do you?
The crazy kid with a bat who was screaming for Jack (Warren?) went back to wailing on the mosp that had nearly gone up in smoke. Fire wasn't a welcome addition to the fray, but if it could get rid of a few bugs, they'd at least have a more manageable situation. Fire had always been scary, but it never ended up being what killed anybody. These bugs were an entirely different ballgame.
The mosps were a bit bigger than bludgers, George realized - they ought to be brought down to size if poor Jorah was going to have a chance of smushing them. Thankfully, he figured he had just the thing. He looked to the mosp that Jorah was chasing, flicking his wand and shouting the incantation as he aimed for the mosp. "Reducio!"
