Quidditch Stands || Secret Blossom Ball Event

Pericles didn't need to answer all her questions. She gave her surroundings a wider overview, considering a lot more sources of light helped with that. She stepped closer to the edge of the pitch. There were other battles happening on the whole Quidditch Stadium, but from what she managed to understand the mosps were now fleeing the battlefield as the number of the defeated was higher than the number of the mosps that stayed alive.

She exhaled. This was the end of it for now. Once the professors would know what happened and how the students decided to hold a secret ball... The school would be on lockdown or something. Meenauh as a prefect felt a bit guilty about not maintaining order. She didn't know that the ball would be that big of an event. She could have prevented this. And she didn't. She was basically the same level as a school criminal. There was a thin line between being a whistleblower and a harsh 'imperial soldier' who doesn't care about fun and only makes sure everyone obeys the law, and being just someone who wants everyone be safe. She was the second one. She let it slip sometimes if she felt the offence minor to not give detention, but just an alert. Children have got to have fun as long as it's safe. It was her duty to keep them safe.

First, she had the urge of rushing down to the field to check if everyone was okay... Since when she became so caring for all other students? Since when she had this feeling of protectiveness? She looked around to make sure everyone was safe and then returned to Xailah and noticed the thigh wound. Her friend was finishing putting the deceased enemies to peace. Those were alive creatures and Meenauh knew why Xailah did that. She noxxed her light and approached her friend quickly, because Xailah seemed to be too engaged into the ritual and seemed to start lifting a dead mosp, probably to take it with her... god knows where. She tenderly pushed the mosp out from Xailah's arms, weakened from the venom and the blood loss. The mosp body dropped and rolled away from them.

"Ferula," she pointed at Xailah's wound with a tapping gesture, watching the whitish bandage wrapping tightly around her thigh, "Let's go," she said in the quietest voice she ever spoke, but still as if no objection would be accepted. She carefully took Xailah's hand and tried to guide her friend out of the scene. It didn't matter whether they would go to the hospital wing, or to the common room to treat the wounds. They had to just leave the place for good.

@Meenauh Silmataurea's word of thanks was given a short nod, wordless yet sincere, and after pulling her to her feet Pericles made an idle, comradely gesture, lightly clapping her arm in an unspoken You're alight.
"Is that..."
"Haven't the foggiest."
Indeed, @Xailah Alptraum was helping @Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood escape the ball with a mosp, though the boy was far too scattered by the present situation to ponders the why, where, or how of that strange sight. He did not permit himself to stray, instead launching into his decision to gather and distribute brooms. The older Gryffindor halted him, and Peri did not pull away, eager to take action yet rarely the impulsive type. He stopped to heed her words, though he did not have all the answers.

"How many people are there, Pericles? How exactly big this ball is?"
"I..." The boy shook his head, stare swiveling out from the stands, over the pitch itself. Screams, shouts, spells, and smoke swirled through the air. "I can't say. We- there was no invitation process, no accounting for, for how enormous this would be." The correct answer was "too many". Yet that could not deter him from making one last attempt at setting this right, no matter how small said attempt may be. He spun about, searching the stands for @Ruby Cazares and @Margo White. The two had aided another pair of students. Hopefully, by now, they had elected to make an escape before students swarmed the skies. Another turn and he tracked down Xailah, witnessing her burial ritual, which sent his anxious expression bouncing back to Meenauh. "I think Xai needs you." No one understood the girl better, though it was plenty plain to Pericles that she was going through something.

"Brea?" The young peered upwards, squinting against the light of @Breana Oliveire's Lumos. "Would you help me search?" The next few minutes would consist of Pericles scrambling over the stands, searching between seats, running along the railing where he had leaned multiple brooms at the beginning of the night. One was mounted. The others were tucked awkwardly under an arm, and with that, Pericles swooped from the stands and over the pitch.

As Alexander walked through the cloud of fog he could not help but to violently cough. The smoke created from the fumos spell being a bit too thick and going down his throat. Alexander stood there for several moments. Coughing and trying to cleanse the smoke from his lungs. This succeeded but as that happened he just missed the Gryffindor Girl and the aid she provided. He leaned against his legs, now panting heavily in the fresh air. Then he looked to Aida, giving an apologetic look.

"Sorry, the smoke went down a bit badly. But I got an A for flying, I can fly the broom in a straight line towards proff Grifith. Though don't expect anything beyond that and a few simple turns."
He looked towards the broom and quickly said.
"Up"
With the urgency in his voice the broom would rapidly rise.
Alexander would then climb onto the broom that had been gracefully provided by the Gryffindor girl. He would make sure to steady himself, waiting for Aida and the most to sit there comfortably as well. Then he would begin pointing the broom and Aida towards Proff Grifith's house. As he wandered of in the night air Alexander looked back towards the blossom ball. Looking at all the chaos in the pitch and what even seemed to be a GIANT FIERY SNAKE !!! Though luckily he headed away from that. And as he left, the cold night air surrounding him, he could not help but wonder.

What was behind this attack? What forces might pass through the forces of Hogwarts unknown.

For a moment, there was a sense of accomplishment that washed over the young Ravenclaw. Watching all of the mosps slowly disperse and flee from the Pitch. They did it, at least from where she can see. It may not be the entire Quidditch Stands, but it was still a ray of hope for her that the student body can stand a chance against the swarm. She looked over at Pericles, giving him a knowing nod as if she's saying, "At least we're done here. This is a good sign."

But more experienced students knew better than to celebrate too early. As Breana was about to dim her light, another older student hovered over towards them, asking Pericles a flurry of questions. She didn't want to interfere. Considering her last quip sent her into a talking down to from Xailah, Breana thought it be best for her to avoid repeating such histories. Her mind wandered over to her light, still glowing consistently for her. When she first heard of such troubles, she expected herself to be one of the frontiers, an active fighter that would help her comrades by using her intelligence. Just because of mere words, she stepped down to avoid conflict. Her mother has built her up to be a strong witch, but here she is... a walking nightlight. Maybe she wasn't caught up to be a Hogwarts student...?

Before the girl would travel down to that dark path, Pericles pulled her back to reality. As the young freckled lad asked for her help, and with a quick nod, followed the boy as they collect a couple of brooms and help the others in case things are still awry.
