Trapped!
A group of Ravenclaws left the Transfiguration classroom, Clarisse calling out goodbye to them as the door closed. Now that they had gone, it was probably time to call it quits and pack up the box of matches in front of her. After all, nearly everyone else had left - the lesson had finished a few minutes, after all, and the professor himself had had to hurry out as soon as it was over on some sort of teaching business - and she didn't really want to be the last one left. She glanced over to the Slytherin whose name she didn't know, shooting a smile in his direction. The girl wasn't certain why he had stayed behind. Perhaps he just wanted to finish up what they had been doing in the lesson before leaving, like her.
Pinching up the matchsticks spread out across her desk, she began to fill her little matchbox, deciding to grab the ones off the floor the others had left before dumping the whole thing at the front with the rest. With the rest of her things packed up into her bag, she gave the Slytherin another smile, if he was looking, and made to leave.
As she tried opening the door, however, there was a popping noise, like a dislocated shoulder, and the handle came out in her hand. Her eyes widened, and for a few moments of panic she tried to wedge it back in, forcefully, before something inside the mechanism snapped further.
Clarisse pulled her hand back, handle still in it. "Um..." she started, turning towards the other student, "I think we may have a problem."

Transfiguration class, one of the more useful classes as he had noticed. However one of the loudest, as well as Charms where many students foolishly tried to attempt launching a spell, even though they were incapable of even pronouncing it. It was horrible sometimes listening to these foolish attempts of trying a spell. He was good at both of these classes, however was too irritated by the other students most of the times, who were whispering during class and afterwards failing at the spells horribly. But of course he understood that not everything could be as understanding in terms of knowledge as he himself was. He looked around as the students left the class, while many didn't even cared to pick up the matchstick they had left at their places or even on the ground. Who would be stupid enough to drop a matchstick they were holding in between their fingers, how stupid some could be! Some of the little sticks had even been lit and burned out when they had failed the spell. Why were many students like this? He could not understand, maybe it was just because they were plain wizards, while he was just better than them.
He was collecting his things, picking up his parchment and his quills as well as the small notebook that he always brought to classes. Wether it was for taking notes or for writing down what assignments they were given, he kept the information within that small book, with a dragon hide binding, that matched his school bag. He picked up the matchsticks that he used during the class and shoved them back into the matchbox, before he brought the small object to the professor's desk. When he turned around to leave, he could see a girl fighting with the door. Bloody ell, what? He raised an eyebrow and when he got what was off, literally, he snapped.
”What have you done?” He asked in pure disbelief. ”You just were too stupid to open a door!”

Trapped!
Finally the Slytherin spoke to her. And at once she really regretted even bringing it up near him. Even though she had really needed to. The way he snapped was more than just friendly - more than even a little irritated. At once, her face darkened and the smile she had put on vanished as if it had never been there.
Her initial reaction was to snap back, or throw the handle at him, or do some other childish thing, but she was dealing with a Slytherin here, so maybe it was best to do this properly. Passing the handle in her other hand, she placed it down onto the desk beside her. As she slammed it against the desk, she realised that she hadn't put it down as gently as she had hoped. Still, it would work to the same effect. "If I'm so stupid, you can fix it and you can get us out."
Slinging her bag off her shoulder, she sat at the desk she had put the key on and stared hostilely at the Slytherin.
She couldn't do this. Clarisse didn't have the refinement to stay sitting and collected. After a few moments like that, she began speaking again, at a hundred miles an hour. "Listen, it was broken right? I can open doors, don't worry! This door handle was just broken - you would have pulled it out too, if you had gone out first! So yeah, I can open doors. That's just broken. Not my fault. You gonna just sit there and wait for me to do all the work?"
Her face had gone red. Whether it was with challenge, or embarrassment, or anger, even Clarisse wouldn't be able to say.
