Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Night had fallen at Hogwarts and the weekend once again would see the Gryffindor House out beyond dark. Sebastián Cazarez stood atop the tower moving equipment from class out of the way to make room for their celebration. A table had been set up in the center of the tower with Butterbeer pints and sweets of all kinds. Around the edges of the tower were piles of... something. Most students would be unsure of what these items were but they looked like small fireworks. They were muggle firecrackers. Tons of them. They had been stacked up all around for the students to use. Launching those was part of the fun planned for the night. Sweets, explosions, and non-alcoholic drinks. A party the children would surely enjoy.Gryffindor only
Once the students arrived it became fairly crowded but Sebastián had brought along his broom. He hovered above them and launched a single firecracker to gain their attention. It made a loud snap as it exploded in brilliant light overhead. Their attention was firmly, or at least mostly, on the History of Magic professor now.
"Gryffindor! Great work on winning the house cup. I smuggled in some Muggle toys to celebrate, plus Hogsmeade sweets!" he motioned to the table below. "These are called fireworks. Hold one in your off-hand and cast incendio GENTLY towards the little string. Don't point them at each other or I will remove you from this party! Have fun!"

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Eris had been waiting for the party all week, and the feeling of excitement only grew as the day turned to night, and the week turned to weekend. The common room was abuzz, as students left the safety of the warm room to climb the stairs up to the Astronomy tower. Eris had left the common room quite early, unable to contain her excitement for the party to come. Eris had never been to a party before. From what she knew about parties, they were full of dancing, weird drinks and gross cootie stuff.
But maybe that was just for muggles. A wizard party would be more fun, right? Again, Eris honesty had no idea, and she couldn't wait to find out. If all else failed, the party gave her an excuse to be up late and outside of the common room without getting into trouble. Trekking up the stairs to the Astronomy Tower, Eris felt grateful for the warmth of her cloak as a cold burst of wind hit her in the face. Shivering slightly, Eris stepped even further out into the cold. Already, Gryffindor students were gathered outside.
Professor Cazarez was setting up, putting piles of sweets, butterbeer, and something that looked a lot like muggle fireworks. How had he even gotten those? Shrugging, Eris went straight for the butterbeer. She had tried it once with Reed Wesley, and loved the taste of it. It was somehow the best thing that Eris had seen so far in the wizarding world, even better than magic. Of course. Who needed magic when you had a beer made of butter? That's what it was, right? Butter as a drink.
There was a broom in the corner. Maybe Sebastian was going to let them fly? Eris had never tried night flying, but a party full of rambunctious children known for their bravery was a good time to learn. Butterbeer in one hand, other hand full of candy, Eris skipped over towards the broom, only to get lost in a sea of red ties and black robes.
The short girl couldn't find a way out of the crowd, and she found herself pushed back towards the tables stock pilled with sweets and drinks. Glowering slightly, she looked up to see if anybody she knew was around to help her. Hopefully someone tall like Rhea, Sabrina, or Max could save her from the hoard of ravenous house mates. Of course, she couldn't find them in the sea of celebrating lions.
Face flushed with anger and embarrassment at her predicament, Eris hopped up and down, trying hard to find somebody to help her. Just as she hopped up for a third time, the sky exploded into a brilliant ray of bright light, as a resulting bang halted the chatting of the assembled Gryffindors. Eris's face broke out into a smile, as she tried in vain to peek over the head's of taller people.
So Sebastian had gotten the fireworks. Eris had no idea how he had gotten them, nor did she care. The professor explained how to set off fireworks, and Eris let out a delighted grin. What if she stored them and kept the fireworks for later to set off during lame classes like History of Magic? Or what if she set them off during a feast? Or..what if she set them off now, like a good child would do?
Head racing with ideas that weren't very nice, Eris rushed towards the table of fireworks. Where was her partner in crime when she needed him? Still unable to see the faces of half of the other students rushing around, the red head scowled, and focused on making her way over towards the table full of fireworks.

Lucy's heartbeat got faster with every step she took going to the tower, She wasn't really used to socialising with people other than the times she was forced to. She didn't actually know anybody there so it was quite awkward for the little girl. She stared at her own steps as she walked.
Hopefully she actually talks with some of the other Gryffindor students there instead of just standing there like a statue. She was honestly more worried about what she was going to do there, She hasn't actually made friends with any of the Gryffindors so she was quite worried..What if she wasn't good enough?
She took a deep breath as she stepped up seeing her head of house Sebasitan Cazarez and other students there..''So many..'' She slightly whispered, Most of the students were looking at the fireworks Cazarez had gotten them. She wanted to try them out but on second thoughts she walked over to a corner where there wasn't many students.
Being the short girl that she is she wasn't all that visible which was perfect for her since she didn't want to be seen all that much. She just wanted to be there because well..Its her house and she was happy that they won.
She wasn't the type to talk to random people unless they approached her first, A smile grew on her face as she saw all of the students there having fun. It didn't take much to make the girl happy as long as the people around her were happy it was enough to make the girl's day twice as better.

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
If there was one thing Max had enjoyed during his 'high society' lessons with his parents, it was the parties. Dinner parties could range from awkward and awful to depressingly underpopulated to huge hits, but if there was one thing that remained constant throughout the lot of them, it was that amusing things always happened. It could be someone's drunk uncle stumbling in and throwing up on the floor, much to the chagrin of the hosts. It could be some prank gone too wrong or too right. It could be that you made a really cool, unexpected new friend. Who knew what a party brought?
Whistling a low, off-key tune under his breath, Max got to the party just slightly late so that he wouldn't be the first one there. It was already packed, students jammed in every corner and a lot of people looking excited. He couldn't contain the shocked delight he felt when he saw that Professor Cazarez had prepared sweets and butterbeer. As 'mature' as he always tried to act, his little twelve-year-old heart still lit up with glee at the prospect of a sugar high.
Snagging a handful of sweets and a butterbeer, he took a long, appreciative swig of the stuff and smacked his lips in satisfaction. He probably wouldn't sleep all night if he ate everything he'd gathered, but the future didn't matter so much. Especially when the history professor suddenly hovered overhead and made something explode like a really impressive spell.
"Fireworks?" he whispered, rolling the somewhat-familiar term around in his mouth. He'd seen them on some of the muggle war shows, people celebrating the end of the war with explosions of colours that had a different quality of a bang than a gunshot. There was so much you could do with tiny explosion sticks. He tried not to grin too mischievously at the thoughts. Cool. Calm. Collected. With a touch of sugar high coming on.
Scanning the crowd for someone he knew, he was pleased when he caught a familiar glimpse of red that had nothing to do with robe colours. If he were a betting man, he'd bet all his money that Eris's line of thinking was pretty similar to his when it came to fireworks. They'd be fun to set off now. They'd also be fun to set off later. Shifting everything so he could hold it all in one hand, he navigated the crowd with glares that made people move just enough for him to keep Eris's short stature in his view.
When she finally reached the table was roughly around the same time he'd caught up with her, and he was unable to stop himself from stepping close so he could cover her eyes from behind with one hand. "Guess who?" he said in her ear to be heard over the talking, stifling a laugh as he eyed the table. "It may or may not be the one person who'd also love to see stuff blow up."

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
When Gryffindor had won the house cup, the feeling that rushed through Sabrina was marvelous. It was a mix of adrenaline and pure joy - all the work they had done this far has paid off, and in the way where she got to spend a night out at the top of the Astronomy Tower, past curfew. She knew it would be under supervision of their Head of House, so there wasn't going to be anything too wild. And honestly, she was a little pumped up for it.
By the time she had finished studying and was ready to go, Eris had already left and Rhea was no where to be found. She pursed her lips and sucked up the dread of walking up all of those stairs alone, but she trudged on nonetheless. She knew that her friends were most likely going to be there, and she had been sulking long enough about everything. She deserved to have fun, in one way or another. Even though she wasn't the best at socializing, making an effort was never too much to ask of her.
Her Gryffindor uniform had been traded in for more casual clothing, but she still donned the red and yellow scarf. She dressed warm to fend against the cold weather, and she was smart to do so. When she pushed open the door leading to the top of the astronomy tower, the cold wind immediately bit at her face. In no time, the tip of her nose would probably turn red, along with the apples of her cheeks. She wasn't aware of this fact though, and stepped into the crowd of Gryffindors.
At first, she never would have expected their house to be so big. Then again, she never exactly took notice of any of the older students in Gryffindor. Everyone she socialized with was a first year, though she didn't have much of a problem with it. She stuck to the outskirts of the group, being weary of everyone and everything around her. She was on the lookout for anyone she knew. There were plenty of redheads in Gryffindor, the girl noted, itching at the back of her neck before tucking a piece of her brown, wavy hair behind her ear. It wouldn't be easy to pick out Eris nor Rhea in this crowd. Hopefully, they would have an easier time finding her if she didn't find them first.
She was just in time to hear Professor Cazarez speak about the fireworks, and how to light them. It made her weary that he consented to them all playing with fire - they could burn down the entire tower! It was evident most people trusted the Head of House though, because in no time people were flocking to the table filled with fireworks.
It was her luck that just as she thought about that, passed right by Eris and some boy by the fireworks table. She had to take a double-take to figure out who she was, but as soon as she recognized her friend actually had a boy standing with her, she became slightly awkward, and continued on her way. Alright, so Eris was busy, was Rhea there? Or Anatole? Honestly, Sabrina should expand her social circle, because she didn't know a quarter of the people there! A huff escaped her lips, and she leaned against one of the walls of the tower, looking at her feet.
She contemplated going back to studying, but at the same time a part of her wanted to just stay there. Who knew, she could gather enough material to write a newspaper article about this night. There were too many opportunities that Sabrina could have if she stayed, yet not a part of her wanted to.

Aubren had been reading, like always, when she saw a bunch of girls leave the Gryffindor room suddenly. She had merely glanced up as they walked through the Gryffindor entrance, each one talking and giggling, most likely talking about how cute a certain boy was or what ever. She didn't pay attention much until a sudden blonde girl literally dropped from no where, landing upside down on the couch.
"Oi! Aubren, what the bloody hell are you doing?! Sitting here cooped up with another book, you're missing out!"
Aubren hadn't been startled by the girl's sudden appearance, she had become familiar with Mary-Anne due to the fact the blonde had gotten herself tangled in a bunch of vines from Herbology, in which Aubren had helped her out of.
"Missing what?"
The blonde scoffed in annoyance, righting herself up to be right side up.
"You're clueless. The party? Hello? We won the house cup!"
That's how she ended up at the Astronomy tower, being dragged along by a tall, blonde girl and being left by her for her other friends. She should've expected that, after all, Mary-Anne got distracted fairly easily. Sighing, she took a look around the packed crowd, looking to see if Dorian or Max or Eris had arrived here. She was at first looking for dark hair and icy blue eyes, but when she was almost positive Dorian wasn't there, she began looking for curly red hair, a feature she spotted almost instantly. Eris, and with her luck, Max too. She witnessed first hand what he was doing to her, and it struck her confusedly before she caught on to what game Max was playing. It made her roll her eyes, but she merged through the crowd, trying to get over to the two.

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Parcel hurried up the stairs to the tower. Having fallen asleep not long ago he was sure the party had already started without him. Not having time to change into something more casual he just went with his normal school uniform, or almost the entire school uniform. Parcel liked to drop the robe, it din't really suite him, so just the shirt and sweater was enough he thought. He wasn't even really sure if it would be any fun, he hadn't really attended a party before so what was the deal? "Was it like a class? a class without schoolwork and with food instead?"
Pushing open the tower door he went out just in time to hear the crackling sound above. Looking up he saw a flash of light and the Head sitting on a broom. Parcel's eyes widened, what was that? He wasn't really sure, but it looked like something he had seen muggle kids play with under one of those muggle-sport celebrations. He wondered how they worked, "Was there magic involved? Potions perhaps? They are in containers, right? So there has to be something inside, and that something has to be what explodes?" Thinking about it he wanted to take some with him. "Could he open them up and find a better use for whatever that was inside? Could he make them bigger? Was it enough to just open them up an add their contents together, or would he need to find another way? He knew about a spell that could make things bigger, could he find someone to use the spell for him, or perhaps learn it himself?" Off course he thought they would be funny in a prank, but think of the possibilities with these things! Make them bigger, and if you ever get in trouble they would have a tremendous effect on someones concentration. Without even having to throw a spell you could in theory break a opponents spell by messing with theirs concentration! Or you could use it to give yourself time to get away. Parcel's train of thought really made him want to take some with him, and also find someone that could use the enlarge-spell. "Ahh.. the possibilities!"
"WHAT!!" While being lost in thought he was sure he saw that damn garden gnome again! "How did it get here! Why had no one noticed it!? By Merlin's beard! Was it following him?!" Parcel almost gripped a hand to his chest in surprise. But getting a glimpse of the red-head again he saw that that's just what it was, a short red-headed girl... And she seemed to be close to the boy she was with, and no boy would want to be close to a garden gnome he thought... That sure was surprising, he was almost certain the dreaded Gnome-uprising had started.. To calm himself down he went over to the snack-table to get something to eat.
While looking around and stuffing his face with cookie's he noticed that he really didn't see anyone he knew... "oh, well" Thinking that gave him more time to commence his plan of obtaining the small sparkling sticks he when't over to where they were. And started inspecting some of them before casually putting one or two of the inspected sticks in his pocket.

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Parties were familiar to her. She remembered all the dinners she was dragged to, where she was forced to socialize with adults she would never see again, introduce herself to uptight women and angry men, and shivered at the thought. However, she knew that this party was not like that - she would be with her friends, and her parents wouldn't be around to annoy her to do this and that.
Not knowing the fancy rating of this party, Rhea decided that there would be no harm in dressing up. Better to be overdressed than underdressed, right? Eris had already left for the party, before Rhea had arrived, and Sabrina was out somewhere, probably studying. As she couldn’t ask either of them for what to wear, she decided to rummage through her own closet and pick something. But anyone that knew her, would know that Rhea’s closet consisted of mostly fancy dresses as they were the clothes that her mother had forced her to pack. Making sure Rhea packed dresses was the only aspect of caring her mother showed.
Foraging through her closet, Rhea stumbled upon a pink dress that she thought would fit her perfectly. Sure, it may possibly be a bit too fancy, but Rhea lived off of that. Besides, it would pull people’s attention on her, and that was something Rhea craved.
Soon, the dress was on, Rhea looked great, and she was on her way to the Astronomy Tower, where the rest of the Gryffindors already were. Thanking the lords that she was taller than most everyone here - although she was the height of an average 11 year old - Rhea scouted around for someone she knew. Preferably either of her roommates, but anyone else that she knew would do as well. Sighing when she didn’t find anyone, Rhea made her way to the drinks table where, with a huge smile, she realized Professor Cazarez had set up butterbeer and various other types of sweets. She poured herself a glass and gulped down half of it in one go, before grabbing a Pumpkin Pasty and munching into it. She hummed in happiness and went on to find someone-anyone.
Finally, to her happiness, Rhea spotted a burst of red hair. Knowing that there were a lot of redheads in Gryffindor, Rhea walked a bit closer to make sure that it was, in fact, Eris. And indeed it was. A smile growing on her face, Rhea sped up her movement - then she saw that the shorter girl was talking to Max, who Rhea had met previously. They were standing near a table laden with - something or other, but it didn’t look safe. However, it did look like something that would be fun to try, so Rhea made a mental note to come back to the display and ask how to work the unusual objects.
Deciding not to bother the two - and hoping that Eris knew enough about cooties to not do anything *too* scandalous - Rhea moved on, grabbing another bite of the Pumpkin Pasty. *Those pasties were going to be the end of her year, bloody hell, she loved them so much.*
Another burst of luck, and Rhea found Sabrina. In addition to being one of the taller first years, Rhea had worn a pair of flats with a tiny heel - okay, so maybe they weren’t actually flats. The brunette was standing near the walls of the castle, observing the festivities. Seeing that there was no one else around her, Rhea moved faster, making sure not to trip over her feet. She thanked the lords that the front of her dress reached just below her knees, so she couldn’t trip.
With a small skip, Rhea found herself right next to Sabrina and smiled. “I was wondering where you were,” the redhead said, the smile not leaving her face. “Did you see Eris? She was standing next to the table with the weird things with Max. Do you know what they are? I would go back and ask, but I don’t wanna third wheel her and Max.” Rhea was rambling, but she didn’t know why. This was very unlike her - the young Bishop was very usually composed, choosing her words carefully. This party seemed to have brought out a different side of her. The one who actually enjoyed parties.

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Today was quite an eventful day, Asteria concluded as she stepped into the now festive looking classroom of the astronomy tower. Not only did she get to have a small little adventure of her own, but today she gets to celebrate with her fellow Gryffindors. Gryffindor had one the house cup, Asteria was more than pleased upon learning they had won, her first year here and she gets to celebrate a victory! Playing with the bracelet on her arm, Asteria looked around the room."Looks like I came on time." she muttered as she heard the voice of her head of house speak.
One table was lined with all sorts of delicious treats, and another with muggle items, fireworks! Asteria use to love watching muggle set off fireworks on holidays. They were all so colorful, and some of them even had creative designs that were fun to see light up the night sky! Asteria thought about getting at least one before deciding against it. She turned her attention to the sweets table instead. She had just finished her homework before coming here and she was a little parched "Is there any pumpkin juice?" She wondered before spotting some near the end of the table.
Walking over to the table, Asteria saw a few familiar faces that she knew. Her Dorm-mates were off doing their own thing, but she wondered if Wini would show up.She hadn't seen her since the dancing lessons after all. Pouring her drink, Asteria looked around to she if she spotted anyone else she knew. Moving away from the table, Asteria decided to walk over toward a near by window, it wasn't everyday she went to a party. The last time she went to one, it was her cousin's tenth birthday party and it ended in disaster. Her cousin had maybe eaten too much sweets and it may have ended up....well... nasty would be a word for it for sure. Asteria propped herself up on to the window ledge to sit on it. She crossed her legs and took a sip of her pumpkin juice, her mind going at it's usual pace of a mile a minute, to be honest she felt a bit out of place here, but she chalked it up to not being fully use to Hogwarts still. While she was mostly use to it, she still found a few culture shocks every now and again. It shouldn't be much a shock to her, she was a pure-blood after all, so it wasn't like she was never raised around magic. Maybe it was because she had gotten use to muggle school before coming here, or maybe she just felt like an outsider for reasons unknown. Asteria didn't know for sure, but she was here now and just had to get over it.

Asteria's outfit:

Roar of the Lions - House Cup Party
Eris had finally reached the table, practically shoving her way through the crowd and hopping up and down as she did so. A delighted smile spread across her face as she stared at the fireworks, taking a step closer to the table to grab one, when suddenly a pair of hands covered her eyes, and an all too familiar voice spoke into her ear. Her partner in crime had finally arrived. A faint blush covered the girl's cheeks, as she realized that a boy, was in fact, touching her. But it was Max! He couldn't give cooties, right? He was fine. Hopefully.
"I was going to guess a crazy manic, but I suppose what you said works too." Eris replied, batting Max's hands away, as she spun on her heel to face him, crossing her arms. An attempt at a fierce expression on her face. Well, an attempt at a fierce expression. It failed, considering Eris was 4 feet tall, and couldn't stop laughing.
"So, you're thinking what I'm thinking, of course. What class should we set the fireworks off in?" The slightly red-head hopped up again,to try and attempt to gauge the crowd, and see how many people were making a run towards the fireworks, which were now precious cargo for Max, Eris, and CO's wicked plans.
Turning away from Max, Eris gathered a large amount of fireworks in her arms, practically sagging from the effort of carrying so many of them. There weren't any rule about saving the fireworks, just not pointing them at each other, so they weren't really doing anything against the rules. Although, it was probably assumed that most students wouldn't smuggle fireworks into their classes. Returning her gaze to Max and the crowd, Eris let out a choked noise and dropped a few of the fireworks to the ground.
Rhea was wearing a ball grown. An extremely pink ball grown that dragged on the floor as she walked, the ruffled tail getting dirt on it. The dress was quite a site to behold, as half of the children of the party paused, drinks on the way to their mouths, or fireworks forgotten in grubby candy stained hands. That was Rhea alright. Grinning, Eris spotted a few other familiar faces in the crowd.
Aubren was traveling towards Eris and Max. Eris couldn't wave to her, hands full of fireworks, so instead she smiled brightly at the other girl. Sabrina was next to Rhea, not looking as dressed up as Rhea. Eris wondered if she should invite the two girls to come over with her and Max, and possibly Aubren.
The crowd thickened again, and Eris lost sight of her two friends. There would be time to talk to them later, in the dorm room. For now, she could at least try to enjoy herself. Smirking, Eris craned her neck upwards to look Max in the eye. "You see Rhea's outfit? That's what you should be wearing right now. But alas, you have no fashion sense. Shameful, really." Eris grinned, unable to stop from laughing.
