The boy was sitting on the table with his feather in his hand, his ink beside him as he had been working on his homework. Playing with the feather he would let it go running on his cheek. 'What could be the best possible solution on this?' His thoughts were running wild as he was trying to find a solution towards the question, but it didn't seem to work that well as his mind started to wander around all the time. One moment he could focus and the other moment his brain just went like: Look at that! And then he would be out of focus all the time, when reading he wasn't actually reading the page, just looking at the letters scanning them if you could say.
Eventually, the male gave up and stood up, packing his stuff and carried his inkpot loosely in his hands. The scarf back around his neck and started to head out towards the dorms and stairways.
Yet as he started to walk, he looked down to each step he was taking. Eventually, he felt something collapsing against him. He let out a gasp and the bottle of ink fell on top on him and soon his scarf and the ground were covered in ink. A group of bystanders walked past and started to laugh and point. "Ink headed!" Was one of them yelling before heading out again?

To be frank, accidentally leaving the only muggle book she bought from home was the reason why Fumiko was speedwalking to class. She slightly bowed down to students and teachers that passed by her, somehow guilty that she almost ran in the great hall

She cursed at how there were so many students in the Great Hall right now. If they just all disappeared she could've made a run for it, hoping no one touched her book.

' Especially those pure-blooded pricks ' god knows what they'll do when they found a muggle book in class. Burn it if they knew how jabbing jokes at the muggles for some laughs.

Perhaps she could've gotten to the book in peace if her eye didn't catch a brown fuzz at the end of her eyes. She turned to the window and there preached a large brown tawny owl.

Ahhww~ It's soo cu - she was forced out of her daze as she felt a sudden force pushed her back.

She didn't even have time to be shocked before she heard a small ' splat'. Fearing for the worse, she opened her eyes and to her horror, the worse unveiled in front of her

The scene involved a small student on the ground, their head was covered in black ink, dripping down on their face and finally ...their Hufflepuff scarf.

Crap.

Fumiko just spilled ink all over her housemate. She couldn't run now! She's bound to see them regularly now and Fumiko doubts they would forget the person that made them decorated in ink.

" A-h e- aa--um--h-hei-" she stumbled over her words, lost at what to say. Should she apologize? How do you apologize to someone that you just embarrassed in front of a crowd of students?

' Hello~ Sorry I got ink on you...should've seen where I was going right ahahah whoopsiess~ '

She would've silently plotted revenge if someone said that to her after draining her in ink out of all the things!

She glared at the group that made that uncalled comment.

Bullies.

Damn insecure twats that need to put others down to make themselves feel better. However,

Fumiko didn't give them a retort, far more focused on the student with thick ink dripping down his head

She wondered what the ink covered Hufflepuff student did to get energy draining people in their life. Then again, sometimes you don't even need a reason for that.

Deciding her muggle book could wait, she started to speak :

" I - I am so sorry..I- didn't see where I was go-" she looked back at the window where she previously saw the tawny owl only to see it was now gone.

Damn owl.

" I.." she looked back at the Hufflepuff and wondered why they haven't snapped at her yet. In fact, they seemed shockingly calm at all this.

Why haven't they said anything?

" I' mm ... very... sorry.." if it were possible, her voice seemed sadder than the one who's actually covered in ink. How could she not?! Being emotional, her guilt tripled at what she had done.

She was only thankful students seemed to have better things to do than pay attention to a student with ink all over them.

" We...we need to get you to the toilet! Get all those ink out of your hair.." she glanced down at their Hufflepuff scarf, fully knowing though they have a chance to get ink out of his/her hair if they run to the sink now, the scarf is going to ...take a while.

Fumiko blurted out " Why...aren't you mad? You have full rights to get angry at this...I'll...I'll even let you yell at me later. But please! Let's just...focus on getting you to the toilets..before it dries up.." she pleaded, hoping her puppy dog eyes can persuade the Hufflepuff student to calm down.

The behind of the boy felt sore after it had been into contact with the hard and cold ground. He heard the bottle fell down on the floor and tried to open up his eyes, it was hard at the beginning as the ink was getting everywhere. Eventually feeling it drip down too. "..." He wanted to bite down on his tongue, outside his mouth, but refrained from doing so after he had a serious bad taste in his mouth from just opening it for a mere second.

Seconds passed as he slowly would try to reach for his scarf and try to get some of the ink out of his face. Unknowing that he was making it worse for a moment.

He sighed towards himself, knowing that this was probably just an accident... But he was silent, kept silent and would just bite his lip. 'I hate them... Why do they always pick up on the smaller ones... Not even their own size... Just wait, one day I can let them smell a fart...' Would his mind go rumbling further as he was a bit lost in thoughts. It was that the female spoke once more that he actually snapped out of it and tried to look up. He would nod towards her and try to sign back. 'Hatred can eat at you until there's nothing left... Until you become the thing you hate.'

He would try to stand up and not slip over the spilled ink and would walk with her towards a bathroom, even though it was hard... but he would go with her instead of the other way around, he already was often mistaken for a girl... in this moment that was rather... a good thing.

She blinked for a while as the ink covered kid made a few signs with hands. It took her a while to process what s/he said since she hasn't seen sign language in a long time. She made a ' ohh..' with her mouth as it all made sense.

Of course the bullies would pick someone who couldn't even speak back. What a horrid reason to pick on someone.

It surprised her what s/he signed. It truly was something wise to say and she couldn't help but nod. " I agree. Though keeping a little hatred for something is fine right? It's fun to imagine your enemies drowning in a pool full of sharks~ " she of course was joking but it was only a second before she realized how awful she sounded. " Oh my god I'm sorry please don't mind what I said "

" L-let's get you cleaned up now " she shuttered, desperate to make him/er forget about what she said.

Without warning, she took off his/er ink covered scarf and folded it as neatly as she could, careful not to make it drip on her own clothes. Her hands were already a victim of the ink covered scarf but she payed no attention to it, far more worried for the other Hufflepuff.

Ink-covered hand to another, she took the Hufflepuff's hand and made her way to the nearest toilet, completely unaware the Hufflepuff wore Hogwarts uniform made for the male gender.

She wanted to find a toilet that was empty so the Hufflepuff student wouldn't feel too uncomfortable cleaning her/im up. She would go to the common room but that would risk a lot of people to see the poor Hufflepuff in ink.

Once she found the perfect toilet, she pulled the Hufflepuff inside and took a good look at him/er.

" Hm...yaa...this is going to take some work. But we have the start somewhere. Go try and wash your hands and face while I try to clean...this" she showed a damp Hufflepuff scarf, ink threatening to drip on the floor.

" Oke? Tap me on the shoulder if you're done " she tried to smile but her guilt make it a bit awkward. Fumiko took a sink a bit further away from the Hufflepuff student and started to work on the scarf.

He hated the fact that they were already at him, but on the other hand, he wouldn't let it get to him. Show them that it wasn't affecting him. Thus the care of the other was greatly appreciated at the same time. Yet at the moment that he was dragged somewhere, he never noticed into where exactly until he was inside. A slight bit puzzled... Yet he would pull off his stuff and stand there. He had to do this otherwise all his clothing would get the ink in there too. Washing that out would be a greater problem as the blouses were white.

He started to sign towards the other before she would get an idea. 'I do not have anything else with me or on me. I just want to wash this out before I get the ink there too.' He was hoping she had no problem with it. but then again, he was never raised with siblings thus never understood the cliff between the two.
He turned towards the sinks and would wash off his face and hands and as soon he had the idea that was to be fine... He would turn towards his hair. His white hairs were the victim too... Yet he would probably need a bit of help with that. So just as she said he would turn towards her and tap on her shoulder, she had said shoulder... right... Yes, now that was done he would point towards his hair as that dripped to his shoulder.
With or without her help, he would try to get it out of the hairs and into the sink. The water would gently flow through his hairs and the water would be inky on the way downwards.
"T-that... all..?" He was really insecure about his speech, but with his head under the water, he didn't really have much of a choice. Yet his voice was light and trembling as if he was afraid to talk.

To be honest, Fumiko was way too engrossed in the Hufflepuff student's scarf to even notice what they did. Even missing the sign language sent to her. With her mind currently in disarray with the lack of removed ink despite the harsh scrubs she did to the scarf.

Concern over the scarf obvious of her face, she almost didn't notice when the student tapped on her shoulder.

Typical Kind Hufflepuff Mode : ACTIVATE

" Hmm~ Are you do-"

Typical Kind Hufflepuff Mode : ERROR ( Due to shook )

She dropped the ink stained scarf to cover up her eyes and look away from the student, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Now, usually Fumiko was a fan of saving water, shortening her shower time, turning off the tap when she's brushing her teeth, and etc. But here she is, too busy avoiding the meet one of her worst fears. Bare skin. Especially when it's someone else's .

While covering her innocent eyes from the sight, she started thinking of things she should've considered before if she wasn't blinded by guilt. Like gender for example. Because of Hufflepuff student's small stature, Fumiko immediately assumed they were a girl.

Wait...if they...is a he...then why would he ever...did Fumiko not look like a girl? Impossible, she's too adorable and she knows it, and considering her feminine aura... . Or. was she wrong? Was it all fake ?

Or , OR~ Perhaps she was overthinking and the Hufflepuff student was a girl all along~ with....a suspiciously generic male body..you know what no matter what gender, Fumiko is utterly embarrassed and her innocent might as been burned with acid.

"T-that... all..?" He was really insecure about his speech, but with his head under the water, he didn't really have much of a choice. Yet his voice was light and trembling as if he was afraid to talk.

Oh, perfect just perfect they can actually talk. For a second, she wondered what happened to the student to have such a shaky voice. It was frail, like thin glass that had been super glued together multiple times. As if they hasn't spoken in a long time. As if he was scared.

Fumiko was slightly offended, did she look scary to the boy? She decided not to press him on it.

Guilt washed over her and she slowly opened an opening for her eyes, only to close them again when she realised the student was still half-naked.

" S-say umm..w-what did you say your name was a-again? " She asked, still covering her eyes, though she faced the Hufflepuff student. She didn't believe they even exchanged names. Though she knew the student wanted help with their hair, Fumiko refuses to do anything until this gets sorted out. " S-sign towards the floor with your arms stretched out if you don't feel like talking "
